Experience the Aloha Spirit in the West side of Oahu, at Makaha Valley Apartments where we found an untouched part of the paradise. Makaha Beach has fine gold sand and always not crowded, quiet and peaceful. As you will fall in love with everything here, you will always be back every year, just like us.

In this location, you’ll be able to enjoy this beautiful 1 bedroom with a den in a quiet place where you can read a book and sleep under the palm trees while enjoying the amazing island weather. You will choose this part of the island rather than Honolulu and crowded Waikiki beach. Enjoy the exotic, private, resort style property where the beach has gold sand and clear water with turtles swimming.

Our apartment will give you the view of Pacific Ocean and also the mountain view, with the feeling of a secure resort with a large pool, secure fenced property, friendly security staff. We have made a beautiful renovation 2 years ago (75k budget) and we trust we match and 4 star hotel, with new design from real wood floors, walls, furniture and new appliances.

Your stay includes: cable television, free WiFi internet, NetFlix, central air-conditioning, USA-CANADA, a fully-equipped kitchen with many extras not expected in a rental unit. We offer a wide variety of spices, plastic cups and plates for picnicking plus a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, bowls, dishes, glasses,cooking utensils, plenty of linens, towels, extra pillows. We also provide beach towels, cooler, boogie boards, beaches chairs and umbrella.

The beautifully landscaped property offers a recently renovated heated saltwater pool, BBQ area with picnic tables, laundry facility on the same floor and 24-hour security. Enjoy the Paradise Cove Luau located by the new 'Aulani' Disney World Resort, located in Ko 'Olina which is an easy ten minute coastal drive. The convenience of Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco, Safeway, Ross, Sports Authority, Restaurants and other conveniences are located in nearby Kapolei.

Makaha beach is a major attraction for surfers, swimmers, and beach lovers that is just one mile away. Turtle Beach and Yokahama Bay are within minutes. Explorers can venture on to the hiking trails accessible from the condo property in the Makaha Valley. Golfers can experience two of the best 18 hole golf courses on the island-- Kolina Resort and Makaha Valley Country Club. Deep sea fishers can join an excursion at the conveniently located Waianae harbor that is 5 minutes driving. Note that parking is available at Makaha Valley Towers for 4 $/day (they own the parking lot) and they ask for 50$ cash refundable deposit when you go to office to rent/ pick up the parking tag for your dashboard.
We are renting on monthly basis contract with minimum 14 days stay.

Très bel endroit tranquille hors de la cohue de Honolulu .. Paysage superbe au pourtour…la mer qui croise les falaises.. L’appartement..pas de verre à vin…inacceptable en 2024… Le coût du stationnement…quand nous avons réservé en avril 2023..4$/ jour et en janvier 2024 ..15$/ jour. L’appartement mérite un rafraîchissement de peinture..et les plaintes devraient être époussetées…sales..et le nettoyage prendrait 20 minutes.. Mais..en général..avons apprécié …l’immeuble bien entretenu..piscine , BBQ parfait.. Et on y retournerait…..

Worked well for us.

Apartment was very clean. Great shower head. Bathroom well laid out. Beds were Ok and could benefit from a mattress topper. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend guests to empty the refrigerator when they leave. There were fresh food items we had to throw away as they had been in the fridge too long. Location is a bit out of the way, but it was fine in our case. We would definitely stay here again.

Needs updating

Beds very old. Had to sleep on the couch as springs left me with sore back and hips. Suggest at minimum 2-inch foam toppers on all beds. Kitchen cookware and stove need replacing. Shower needed thorough cleaning. Old food left in the refrigerator with mold. Otherwise, the views are great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in the towers but different unit.

Love Makaha!!!

This was our 4th stay in Makaha and first time in Makaha Valley Towers. We absolutely love this part of the island as it is away from all the hubbub of the rest of the island. A rental car is a must due to the location but that was not unexpected for us. We arrive on the 4th of July and were overjoyed to hear the ooohs and aaaws for the fireworks in Peacock. While some may find the Peacocks off putting, we laughed at them and miss them now that we are away. Joe was very responsive and we only wish we had checked in before getting supplies as most of what we needed was already there. Parking is $4/day with an additional $50 deposition for the tag and needed to be paid in cash. The office was very flexible about returning with cash later so no worries. Upon leaving, when returning the parking pass, the $50 was returned which was a surprise as they said it was to be mailed. Check in was simple, stopped at security when arriving to get temp parking pass and went to the office the next morning. These people were very friendly and flexible. As for location, it is away from everything but everything is easily accessible. We enjoyed two evenings at the Kani Ka Pila grill in Waikiki listening to Sean Na’auao and Nathan Aweau who we absolutely love. We also enjoyed a Luau at Nutridge which was the best of the Luau’s we have done (Paradise Cove and Polynesian Cultural Center) and driving up the mountain we had a great view of the island that we had missed in our previous visits.

West Side

You do need a rental car as this side of the island is more off the beaten path. Perks of this are much less crowded beaches, a great taste of local flavour, west side. People are so friendly here. We enjoyed the security of our complex and even loved the peacocks that live on the property.

Rental

The unit was not as clean as stated. Rug and living room furniture needed to be cleaned as well as the drapery. Lots of stains. We believe there is mold on the trim in the living room, but not sure. Too much stuff stored in the unit, did not have enough room to unpack our clothes and be able to put them away. Had to move bins that where filled with towels and sheets and etc. Hardly any room in the closet also. The mattresses where very uncomfortable. I think the biggest thing was that they never got back to us on the process of checking out. The whole unit needs a good cleaning. There was only 1 key to the unit. It would be nice to have another.The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and bbq area. Loved seeing all the Peacocks, but they are noisey. We didn,t mind though.

Good trip but...

My two week stay was pretty good. The condo was spacious but it had a few cockroaches, a few of which were dying. One found its way into a glass of wine I had on the floor; yuck. The living room rug and couch were soiled and in need of cleaning. The cushions were pretty worn. The patio door was hard to open and close and one shade didn’t work. The door in another condo I went to opened and closed with ease. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. But, as a wine drinker, not finding any wine glasses was a let down. If you are bothered by the sound of peacocks yelling loudly at night be sure to bring ear plugs. The condo complex has a number of peacocks on the property. One hung out below my balcone which was cool.

A home away from home!

I enjoyed the stay at Iosif's place. The place was clean, and the views from the balconies were fabulous. It is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for visiting Oahu. The kitchen was well decked out for eating at home, and beach gear was also provided! Makaha beach, which is roughly a mile from the complex, was one of my favorite beaches. The host is also very responsive, and he was able to address all my questions and requests quickly. I would love to stay here again for a future Hawaii visit!

Loved it!

We loved staying in the Makaha area and the towers were a perfect place to stay. We loved waking up to both ocean and Mountain views everyday. We left some stuff there by accident and the property manager and housekeeper have been great about helping us get the stuff back. We highly recommend this VRBO!! Thank you!!

Relaxing & Beautiful

Perfect option within our budget with a short bike ride to the beach and peacocks on property. The owners were very timely in sending information and super nice when we forgot to ask for late check out due to a late flight. Highly recommend!

Great condo in an amazing location

Makaha Valley is a great location where there are tons of great beaches within a 15 minute drive. Some of the best diving locations on Oahu are also on the northwest shore. Alex was a gracious host and easy to communicate with. The condo was great and I will definitely be coming back.

Clean & nice stay

We enjoyed the Makaha Valley Condo. Everything was clean & neat. Plenty of amenities for us. We never used the pool/BBQ area so I can't comment on that. The roaming peacocks were really neat & loved hearing them call out. The only negative thing I can say is the drive is horrible. Plan on a 45-60 minute drive from anywhere on the island. It's only 12 miles north of Ko Olina, but those 12 miles take 30 minutes. Also, be sure to enter from the door marked Core 1. It's the only way into the building from the parking area where the condo is.

End of the Road

If you want to slip away and never leave your place this is a great spot to do just that . . . nothing, which was my plan! The units are very small and truly best for two. The peacocks are crazy beautiful and loud when speaking in unison!! All staff we came in contact with on the property could not have been nicer.

Beautiful condo with incredible views

A beautiful condo with incredible ocean and mountain views. It was tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There were even beach chairs and other beach equipment. The peacocks were such a treat. Very nice BBQ area. One of the nicest Vrbo rentals we have had. Would definitely recommend to everyone! Another wonderful vacation at the towers!

This was my third visit to the Makaha Valley Towers, and first visit to this particular unit. It was wonderful! As I had been there before, I knew exactly what to expect. The condo was clean and looked exactly as it did in the pictures. Security staff were very accommodating and check in was a breeze! The office staff were very friendly as well. The air conditioning was great, however we would've liked it a few degrees cooler, but it certainly didn't ruin our holiday at all. We would definitely stay in your unit again. Mahalo!

Great Getaway!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Olga's place! It was far enough away from busy Waikiki but still close enough to everything we did on the island! Peacocks took a little getting used to the noises they made but all in all a great trip! Place was clean and comfortable.

Just What We Needed

We are home now, but I miss Hawaii already. Even though we were quite a ways away from other family members that came to Hawaii for a family wedding, everyone agreed we had the nicest accommodations for a rental. The grounds are beautiful, and the ambiance around the pool in the evening while we bbq’d was so very nice. Olga was very helpful right from the beginning. She explained everything we needed to know with good details, and even helped suggest to us how to get a good car rental. When we discovered that we needed an extra day at the last minute, Olga and Joe made arrangements for us to be able to stay the additional day so that we did not have to move for one night. We found everything we needed in the condo to be able to enjoy our time including a completely equipped kitchen for moderate cooking needs, a closet of sporting items for the water/ beach areas, and Olga even made excellent suggestions for quaint places to visit nearby. The beaches along this side of the island host many good and beautiful things, but we found that some of the less fortunate locals hang out in these areas of the beach. This was not an issue at the complex, as security is as tight as “Fort Knox”. You feel safe and secure at Makaha Valley Towers, and everything is kept clean and very tidy. The peacocks were fun to watch as they strolled around, or sat on the lower branches of the trees resting their amazingly beautiful tail feathers all the way to the ground. Between the beauty of the forever blooming bushes, trees, mountains, sandy beaches along bright blue ocean waters, and peacock plumage....there was always something beautiful to look at. I can hardly wait to go back again.
