This is not high frequency rental but our dream mountain home with 180 degree views of the Moreno Valley and New Mexico's highest peaks. We have purchased the home in 2018 after an extensive search and many upgrades. We have chosen to share our home for seasonal leasing by responsible families. The home provides 5 minute access to ski slopes and a great outpost for year round outdoor adventures. This 3 bedroom (3 new kings size beds), 2 large loft areas (three new queen size beds and a twin trundle) and can sleep up to 13. A fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances throughout the home is sure to provide all the conveniences of home. A full dining room and bar seating with open floor plan to the great room and chalet style views galore is a great atmosphere for family memories. When we were searching for our dream home, the number one criteria was a million dollar view. Why come to the mountains and not be able to have your coffee and enjoy God's amazing creation from your deck. Whether you want to see the sun soak the valley in the morning or watch the sun light the western sky on fire, or seeing the entire milky way against a black velvet sky, this view has it all! You have the plenty of easy parking and an attached garage with ski rack/shelves for unloading at the end of a great day on the slopes. We have equipped the home with many smart technologies including NEST thermostat, security cameras, and keyless remote access. Check availability today to enjoy our home.

Due to the high elevation and the amount of snowfall that can be unpredictable. We highly advise that a four wheel drive vehicle is a necessity. You could have a week where there is no snow or a blizzard that makes driving very dangerous.

Ski Trip

Beautiful property and excellent for youth (teens, pre-teens) to be outside and enjoy nature, and then have fellowship together in a very comfortable and clean cabin. Host states a 4x4 is required and this is 100% accurate. If you are traveling in the winter, do not stay here if you're not traveling with an AWD or 4x4. We had a FWD and a RWD and they were able to get up the mountain with chains, but their cars would get stuck or slid at times. Host made it super convenient to check-in and check-out.

Escape the heat working holiday

Great home. Great views. Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen. No mosquitoes. Great internet for working vacation- you do have to reboot internet almost daily, but got the job done. Bret was a wonderful host and answered any questions immediately and checked in to make sure all was well.

WONDERFUL!!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family vacation. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. Bret checked in with us throughout the week to make sure everything was going well. I would certainly love to return here again.

Excellent House!!!

The house is great!!! The only improvement my wife noticed, her being on crutches at the time of our stay, would be the addition of handicap bars in the toilet & shower. Everything else fit our group of 12 perfectly. The only reason for a 4 rating on location is that a ski in/ski out is always a plus.

Amazing views! Perfect for the whole family!

This house was perfect for our family. There were plenty of beds and space for our kids to play. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of seating for meals, and the beds were comfortable. This home was everything we wanted. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking! The homeowner was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for opening your home to us and allowing us to make memories that we will cherish forever.

Family Time

We loved the house, it was perfect for our family. The owners were so easy to work with, I feel like I know him personally. We brought our own pre planned meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to fix them and feed the crew breakfast, lunch and dinner. The house is easy to find and the view is amazing. The kids ( and the adults) loved watching the dear. The house is close to the ski lifts, which made it easy to come and go. W e will definitely make plans to go back. Hoping to make a trip in the spring. ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful getaway

We had such an amazing time staying at this lovely home in Angelfire. The house was well stocked and very clean, the host was very communicative and the views were AWESOME! Summertime is a spectacular time To visit. Located just up the mountain from the resort, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Wonderful Home

Our family of 6 adults and a new granddaughter had a wonderful visit. The weather, especially the low temperatures in the summer make this house a great place to escape the summer heat. Everything is well planned for and Bret provides excellent communication. We’d love to visit again.

Wonderful Ski Trip to Angel Fire

This was our first time snow skiing with our family of 6 plus 2 grandparents, and the house was perfect. Location is great, and the house was very clean upon arrival. We stay at VRBOs each year near Rosemary Beach, and we've never had a house this well equipped. Owner was very helpful and attentative to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend!

Above and beyond

Let me start by saying this house was AMAZING, the pictures only tell part of the story. When we got there we were in awe, it is truly a “Dream Home” and we were honored that Bret and Angie shared their home with us for the week! Words can barely describe the time we had and shared as a family in this beautiful home on the mountain, there was so much room we all had our own beds and more than enough room for the 9 of us. The deck outside has the best view all day long, including sunsets are to die for. We couldn’t have been more happy with the whole set, they provide everything we needed and wanted on our stay and if it wasn’t there then Bret is more than willing to get it for you. He also helped out with some local places to enjoy like horseback riding and snow mobiling, and where to shop and where to go for any needs. It was easy to communicate with Bret even from before we got there up until after we left, he really showed that he wanted us to have the best time and believe me we did. And we surely appreciate a genuinely gracious host, that’s the bonus you get when you stay here. We were close to the ski resort where we went snowboarding and tubing but yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle with crowds, and that’s exactly what we were looking for. We also had deer coming strolling through the back yard in the mornings and the kiddos loved that, they also loved hiking everyday down the mountain and exploring new things. Which was a great unplug from their I-phones and I-pads which they needed desperately. The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was a tranquil place for my wife to relax and she let calgon take her away, Lol. All in all this house and the hosts was above and beyond what we had expected and we will definitely come back as long as they will have us, and we highly recommend others to stay here as well. Just be courteous and take care of the dream home as it is your own, like we did. Much appreciation to Bret and Angie for your hospitality and generosity during our stay in your dream home, thanks again!

Another Fabulous October stay

We love returning to this cabin each year! The owners are great to work with and make sure the house is in great condition for us. The house is roomy and cozy. The views from the deck are spectacular and it’s a peaceful retreat. We will continue coming back to this cabin each year for our fall family getaway.

Wonderful relaxing stay

Amazing house and location! Everything was just as described, great house and perfect outdoor space. Loved the deer passing through every morning and also saw elk one morning. Area is so quiet and peaceful, great place to get away from it all. Well stocked kitchen, also used the gas fire as it's already chilly at night, plus enjoyed the view under the stars from the deck. Very easy communication with home owner. Great stay!

Peaceful mountain retreat

Cannot say enough about the peaceful location and view from the deck of this house! Started the day on the deck with a cup of coffee, taking in the scenery and wildlife; ended the day on the deck taking in gorgeous sunsets and star gazing late into the night! It was a great location to spend with my family and celebrate my 50th birthday. Three of us work in healthcare in hospital settings. The past year and a half have been stressful and tiring dealing with the pandemic. This trip and stay in this lovely home relaxed and re-energized my body, mind, and spirirt and prepared me to come back and face the surge of this delta variant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was large enough to fit our entire extended family, with plenty of space to spread out. Perfect House, Outstanding Views

Our family which included infants to grandparents had an amazing experience here. The house is so cozy and comfortable it almost feels like your own. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the back deck in the morning and the gas fire pit on comfortable outdoor furniture in the evening. The house was outfitted with everything we needed. Bret was an amazing host that genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. We would certainly rent this house again and recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil mountain visit.

Family summer Vacation

We are an active family of 7 that have been mountain lovers for all of our life. After an exhaustive search for many year, we found Angel Fire and immediately knew this was our dream home. We are unable to live in the mountains permanently yet so we have decided to share the great home with other responsible families. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have in the short time we have owned this great home.

When we looked for a mountain property, the views were the top criteria on our list. 102 Vail Loop has breathtaking views that never get old. This is a great outpost for skiing or any outdoor adventures.

What makes this property unique

The views are hard to beat anywhere in Angel Fire. The location is ideal with a short 5 minute drive to the ski platform drop off and only 10 minutes to town. With the beauty of the Enchanted Circle, you have a ton of exploring from our location.
