We enjoyed our 2 night stay the beds were pretty comfortable and it was lovely sitting out the front porch at nighttime with a nice view of the rotunda
Was a really great stay. The house is an older style house and the bathroom could do with some repairs or renovations. The house was amazing and very clean. The beach was walking distance, and we had a great christmas.
The beds were comfortable, kitchen very clean and bathrooms very clean, lounge clean, TV all tuned in. Everything was working to excellent order, hot water and showers excellent. Very quiet surroundings and we would love to stay there again.
Beautiful home away from home in a quiet, central location.
Was awkward having to take own bedding and towels as when u go away u dont want to be making ur own beds, and no wifi. But that was the only downside.
Communication was prompt, friendly and resourceful.
The house was open, spacious and homely.

Cleanliness
The property is in a great location and appeared generally clean. Beds needed new mattress protectors and pillow protectors. Marked dirty blood stained and worn. Blinds were thick with dust in lounge bathroom and toilet.
Television was not tuned in on arrival.
Lounge and dinning chairs were badly stained with marks.
Place was not clean, told full amenities were supplied but that wasn’t the case. Needed to wash dishes before using because mugs, plates etc were not clean and cupboards filthy including cockroaches and spiders. Bathroom shower was not maintained therefore we did not use. We would not recommend this accommodation.

Cleanliness just below average, few basic needs missing.
The cleanliness was the poorest part, noticed the underbed not cleaned for ages and even spiders, cocroaches inhibiting. No light in the backyard. Lots of debris unmoved in the compound.

I wouldn't stay here again
I was pretty disappointed with this place. The property is nice but it ends there. It's cockroach infested. They provided blankets but the main bedroom blanket was visibly dirty and smelly which makes us think none are washed between people. The bed was so uncomfortable we woke up aching and actually considered leaving early because of how bad it was. One of the bunk beds in the kids room was broken - no rail to prevent falls from the top bunk and the frame for the bottom bunk fell down, it's dangerous.
The house being old wasn't an issue for us, its cute, just as a rental property it's not maintained to a standard that it needs to be. Arriving to dirty/smelly bedding made it hard to enjoy anything.
We were aware we needed to provide sheets and towels but weren't aware there were no tea towels.
A nice basic house, bedrooms quite roomy. the bathroom needs work though. Also required a good airing and glad the weather was good when we went as I think the bedrooms would have been quite hot even though there were portable fans, air con in lounge was good.

Nice place and plenty of room
Overall it was good house with a great kitchen. Has plenty of room and more then enough space to sleep everyone. Bathroom could be a bit better, looks a bit run down. In summary I was happy with the place and its location.

Perfect retreat for families!
The property is a little dated, which in it self is fine however it does require some maintenance and attention with a few little things around the place. Nothing major or overly concerning though.
The beds were comfortable and the house was clean.
I love the HomeAway app because it meant I could communicate directly with the owner and notify him of any problems as we discovered them. He was very approachable and friendly.
