About this property
Cozy basement, 2.6 miles to ND campus bookstore!
The basement to my house is completely private, the best part being that it has its own separate entrance and a parking spot for one car. I take pride in making sure my guests are comfortable and that they enjoy their stay. I have a regular drip coffee maker and an espresso coffee machine (with instructions) for my guests to use . The bedroom is super quiet and the bed is nice and comfy. The rented space is just the basement which has no kitchen but you'll have a microwave to warm up small meals. However, you have access to the patio and there's a charcoal grill and a table which you are welcome to use during the warm season (just let me know well in advance so I can get it cleaned up). The rented space has it's own private entrance. The driveway is shared with my guest, make sure not to block it. The parking space in the premises fits comfortably small to midsized vehicles. It might be a bit tight for a large SUV or a truck in which case parking on the street would be a better option (on my house's side of the curb). The basement has low ceiling tiles (I'm 6'3" and have no problems but bear that in mind if you're taller than me). One last thing, just a reminder that there's no TV but there's free Wifi for you to connect your devices.

Your host

Hi! I'm a professional classical musician and I enjoy traveling for vacation or for work. Here are some of my favorite things to do: Amateur astronomy, camping, hiking at high altitude (above 14,000 ft of elevation), I love dining out, cooking, going to brew pubs. I have learned the art of home beer brewing and enjoy a delicious cappuccino with home roasted coffee. I also make yogurt at home. I enjoy going antique shopping and I have a particular interest in old mantel clocks from the 1800s and German Cuckoos. I'm also fit an active and enjoy exercising 3 to 4 days per week. I'm divorced and have a kid living part-time with me.
