Great vacation!
We loved the property at CoCo Plum. The staff was very kind and helpful! The property was beautiful and well maintained. The flat was large enough for 12 travelers all of which were 13 years of age or older except 1. We made great use of the paddle boards and kayaks as well as the beach, pier, and pool. The drive from Belize City is about 2 & 1/2 hours but not terrible just watch out for all of the speed bumps! The Public’s grocery store in the town just to the south of the property was the best one, clean and fairly well stocked. Restaurants within walking distance. Belize is a beautiful country with kind people! Great vacation!

Simply Amazing
We absolutely loved our visit. We stayed 7 days, but I wish it'd been a month. Herbert met us as we arrived, showed us around the unit, and was always available to answer any questions we had. There's a 4th building nearing completion of construction, but this was never a problem for us at all. (Just mentioning it because the listing has warnings, but I feel we're unwarranted. Any crew we saw were very respectful, and we rarely ever even heard them working.) The grounds, beach, and pool were always immaculate. Well maintained. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Spring break fun!
We booked this property just weeks before our arrival and lucked out! We were 2 families of 4 with kids from ages 10-13 and we all had an amazing time... The unit is enormous! It’s clean, modern, spacious, comfortable with a gorgeous view from the large balcony. We made good use of the kitchen and appliances. We made breakfast in the unit daily, blended up smoothies and frozen drinks. They provided us with coffee beans for freshly ground coffee every morning! The 4 girls ended up in the room with the triple (!) bunk bed and full bed. The amenities were amazing - clean pool which wasn’t crowded - only by the intermittent few guests at the property. Herbert was super helpful, available and attentive with whatever we needed for the unit and for arranging excursions. We ended up booking a snorkeling trip to Silk and Laughing Bird Cayes and river tubing. We played mini-golf at nearby Inky’s. We hired a private chef for an amazing dinner of shrimp and conch ceviche, snook, conch, plantains and ginger slaw! We made good use of the SUPs and the kayaks. We even rented snorkel gear from Placencia and paddled up to False Caye to snorkel there! That took longer than we thought with the kids, but well worth it. There was always staff during the day to assist us with loading and unloading the kayaks. There was construction going on for a new unit for the complex, but that was barely noticeable. We had rented a van so that made it easy to drive into Placencia to explore that area - got Tutti Fruiti gelato and learned to wind surf! My only complaint is that we all wished for a couple more days. Boris sent an extensive list of things to see and do while in Placencia. There was definitely more to see and do than our 5 night stay allowed…

We enjoyed the Villas at coco plum for our Mardi gras vacation as well the other 2 families we had traveling with us. Before our stay there was excellent communication with the property manager and he was very attentive and answered all our questions. Un-Belize-able!
Gorgeous, safe, and peaceful property. Easy drive into Placencia and Maya beach areas for restaurants and shopping. Also great to have access to the spa just a short walk away. The villa is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for 8 of us to sleep, lounge, eat, etc... Herbert and Boris responded promptly to any and all questions and were extremely helpful for everything from directions, restaurant and excursion recommendations, to meeting us at the door and helping lug our suitcases up the stairs! Herbert also set us up with a private chef to come into the villa to prepare a fabulous meal! Very reasonable and probably the best food we had during our stay!! Our only mistake - waiting until our last night and not being able to enjoy our leftovers... which I still think about! Highly recommend this property. Would stay here again and again if time allowed!

FABULOUS FAMILY VACATION
This luxurious, four bedroom, air-conditioned, spacious penthouse condo is amazing, and we had a most memorable vacation at Cocoplum. The views from each room are spectacular. We were a family of 6 adults and two children (ages 3 and 5). The condo is modern and very clean, and is fully equipped with top-of- the-line kitchen equipment. Large utility room with washing machine and dryer. Good stock of towels, linens, and beach towels. Children’s toys for guests to use. Beautiful and safe veranda overlooking the swimming pool, tropical gardens, beach, ocean and pier, with thatched roofing over the bar at the end of the pier. There are also loungers at the end of the pier to enjoy the tranquil and beautiful setting. The manager, Herbert, was outstanding and very responsive when we had questions. Nothing was too much trouble. Joe, who dealt with maintenance, was also terrific, and very attentive. (When we told him we would be using the bbq in the gardens, Joe immediately made sure it was spotlessly clean.). The modern, small, tranquil Naia Resort is a five minute walk along the sandy beach, and has a restaurant, bar, and gym and massage facilities. The little village of Placencia is a short drive with fascinating little restaurants and local shops. Daily caught fish can be purchased at the dock. On our first day we were able to get lobster tails - absolutely delicious. Local supermarkets and pharmacies are very well stocked, and reasonably priced. And road-side stands sell locally produced vegetables and fruit. We made several excursions through the local rainforests; and had a spectacular snorkeling trip where we had lunch on a desert island and swam with turtles, nurse sharks and manta-rays. This was our first trip to Belize, and the country is beautiful and the people are very friendly and speak English. On our arrival, we had a car transfer from Belize Airport to Cocoplum, which was very efficient. It is about a three hour drive on well made roads. Make sure you stop at the Country Barn en route to taste their delicious and unique home-made ice cream. We travel extensively around the world, and this family vacation was certainly one of the best. A most magnificent and memorable vacation with our adult children and our two grandchildren. We will return!!

Wonderful stay!
This Cocoplum penthouse was simply amazing! The home is absolutely beautiful, plenty of space for the 8 of us with really nice showers. The space felt very private and the access to the pool and private pier was great. We definitely turned the pier into our hangout spot and loved being able to use the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Herbert was very responsive throughout the entire booking process and extremely helpful. From greeting us upon arrival, talking us through everything in the house and on the property, and setting up a chef for us for two evenings - he helped make our trip so enjoyable and easy! Having Omar as a private chef for the two evenings was so fun and very delicious! We had tons of leftovers each night which was perfect. The drive into Placencia proper was a true 15 - 20 minute ride, depending on where exactly you were going. The speedbumps throughout make it pretty impossible to speed. I would definitely recommend having your own car. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place
My family of 8 had a wonderful time staying in the Cocoplum villa. We ranged from ages 2 to 73, and everyone had a great time. The villa is large and very comfortable with enough space for everyone to have a nice place to sleep, but also plenty of room in the common area for us to eat meals and spend time together. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and enjoyed swimming in the warm pool, and kayaking in the calm ocean right off the property. The little dock is so picturesque. Everyone who works there is very nice, and Herbert was great at orienting us and seeing us off. Boris was so kind as to give us a list of tips of fun things to do in the area. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend it! We hope to return someday!

Location and size of penthouse makes it a winner.
The penthouse is fabulous! We were two couples and two singles so the sleeping arrangements were perfect. The location is really the best. The golf cart ride to the village is fun. You get to see how the locals really live. The people are so friendly. There are many places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking. Besides the location, Herbert is the biggest asset. He set up golf carts, fishing and even a local chef to cook our catch two different ways. They even cleaned up after themselves as we drank wine and enjoyed the evening. It was really fun. The only glitch we hit unfortunately was upon arrival so beware, leave yourself plenty of daylight hours if you are taking a puddle jumper. They leave promptly because the airport in Placencia doesn’t have runway lights. We had to take a 3 hr shuttle when the last plane left us as we struggled to get out of very slow customs . The shuttle wasn’t all that bad. $50/head for 6. The driver stopped at the liquor store first so that helped. And additionally, Herbert had the Naia restaurant stay open for us because there would have been nothing open when we got there. They cooked our fish twice at Naia. (We caught so much!) Grocery stores are nearby and they also sell beer and booze. Everyone takes US dollars so don’t bother with Belize dollars. Cocoplum also has kayaks and paddle boards to check out. Our sons, 21&25,took them to a nearby island and they loved that. It took a while to get there but the manatee and the starfish were totally worth it. I heard they have bikes too but I ran out of time for that. There are a lot of no seeums (invisible mosquitoes) all over so use bug spray. The house was well equipped, lots of towels for bath and beach plus a large washer and dryer. They had a new bag of coffee beans and did supply soap, shampoo and conditioner. The house is super relaxing and it’s nice to have room to spread out. The patio is very spacious with lots of room to curl up and read or watch the wildlife. There is a large dining room table in case you want to eat outside. You will enjoy this penthouse. And I forgot to mention the beautiful view but I won’t ramble. Enjoy your stay at Cocoplum!

spectacular villa
This condo is stunning! The photos do not do it justice. It is definitely a home away from home with every feature you can think of. 4 large bedrooms, a 'to die for' kitchen, huge laundry room and plenty of room to spread out. But more importantly, the responsiveness of the landlord and support staff was above and beyond. From the initial inquiry to the personal visit on our last evening in Belize, Boris and his team couldn't have been more helpful. They answered all of questions promptly and made excellent suggestions about day trips and restaurants. We were even able to have a personal chef come in and prepare a fabulous dinner for us! The condo comes complete with a beach, volleyball court, pool, hot tub, kayaks and paddleboards, 24/7 gated security, and on site support staff. There is even a spa right next door with 3 restaurants! If you prefer to cook in, there are several grocery stores nearby, but there are so many excellent restaurants and beach bars in the area, you will probably want to eat out for your entire stay. If you are looking for an unforgetable family getaway, this property definitely needs to be at the top of your list. Belize is a beautiful country. The people are very friendly, English-speaking, and HAPPY! You will LOVE this condo!!!

Absolutely wonderful location
Three families stayed in the penthouse and it couldn’t have been any better. We loved the location. We felt safe and loved how close the condo was to restaurants. The condo is spacious, beautifully furnished, and surrounded by fabulous restaurants!
Chef Omar made sure we had all the meals to our specific requirements. (Low fat and vegetarian.) my four grandchildren said it was their “Best Vacation Ever!” Lucky and Erin Ivy at Captain Jak’s kept us busy with incredible tours like Zip Lining, visiting the Cacao Farm, Scuba diving, White Water Rafting, and jumping off waterfalls. We also loved the Spa located right next door!

Fantastic Relaxing Georgous Rental
This villa was absolutely gorgeous. We are pretty picky about cleanliness, and this place was spotless. The property was very quiet while we were there, it was almost as if we had the place to ourselves. It felt more like staying at a wealthy friend's home than a house rental. The reason I say this is because of all the homey touches, from the matching towels for each bathroom, to the Villeroy and Bosch dinnerware, to the comfy couch with throw blankets. The pictures on the website understate how lovely this rental is. The caretaker and property manager were there from the onset to help with bags, provide advice for excursions and meals, and welcome us with smiling faces. All queries were promptly responded to via email. The beds were comfortable, there was loads of room for 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed sunbathing and reading on the deck. The nearby restaurants were very good to excellent. So many choices. Lots of nearby grocery stores with everything you could need. I would highly recommend having a rental vehicle. Naia next door is also a great amenity and is so conveniently close to the villas. I would most definitely go again. The worst part about our stay was having to leave.

Fantastic Condo!
Our stay at the Villas at Cocoplum was even more spectacular than we expected. The condo was fantastic, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The pool, dock and grounds were first class. Perfect!
We stayed in this beautiful place for a week in June 2016. Two families with 7 teens between us. Plenty of space for everyone. Beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchen and unBelizeable views. One side of the villa has gorgeous mountain views and the other views of the sea. The pier and papala were favorite hangouts for all. Lots of swimming, fishing, kayaking and relaxing. Short drive to town and local grocery store. The grounds are well maintained with a beautiful pool and beach volleyball net. From this location we easily did day trips to nearby ruins and cave exploring. Erin can help you with arranging excursions and definitely treat yourself to a home cooked meal by Omar. I highly recommend day trips to Silk Caye for scuba and snorkeling and for a fun day of snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding and tropical drinks book a trip Ranguana Caye. An amazing vacation I will never forget with the best accommodations! You will love The Villas at Coco Plum.

Unbelizeable!
My sister and I (and our families) stayed at this beautiful property in June. The Villa is well appointed and beautifully decorated. A terrific layout for two families (we were 11 people). The property is well maintained with a refreshing pool and we ended most days with a swim in the ocean at what felt like our private pier. Kayaks are also available for use. Perfect quiet location but close enough to drive into town if you want to walk around to shop or eat. Erin arranged for Omar to cook for us most nights and his dinners were a wonderful end to each day. This vacation was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure and we cannot wait to go back! Truly a special place...
