Best cabin price in the area, nice, fantastic value.
Cozy as can be. Host worked with us for a late check in and was not scared to pick up the phone and communicate quickly!Looking over the reviews with complaints on here - I can't say I identify with any of them. Place is a very clean, tidy, well outfitted cabin located conveniently for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Water pressure is fantastic, water is soft and drink-from-the-tap ready, and the whirlpool tub in the living room is a nice addition. TV may be a bit small but is modern and worked well with our Fire stick. Excellent cell reception with AT&T 5g. Heater was quiet and effective, bed was comfortable and this everything I would ask for in a 2 person cabin with a fully furnished kitchen (pots, pans, utensils), washer and dryer, and nice open floor plan. Anyone complaining must have a different concept of "quaint cabin" than the rest of us.Bring your sheets and pillowcases and towels and that's it. Can't say enough good about this spot and this host, a good old fashioned fella that does business the old fashioned way. Will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend to friends!
pros, this was a beautiful place! everything was lovely. cons, I left with bed bug bites. there was dead bugs in the hot tub, so I didn’t get to enjoy that aspect. I also seen a few dead ones scattered around. the heat wasn’t working at all. but luckly I had my space heater with me. I didn’t want to use the fire place after trying just for the sake of my little one being with me.a few cob webs in the shower as well as a bit of mold on the curtain. i’d love to come back matt wish they’d do a thorough walk through instead of just cutting lights on and leaving windows open.
The property owner was very helpful and understanding when calling to check on what time we would be arriving. When told that we weren’t able to leave home at what time we would have liked to have left, no questions were asked and he was very helpful in making sure that we had received our directions for check in. We would definitely stay at one of his rental properties again if we had the chance.
I really had never had any complaints about the cabins where I have previously been in Gatlinburg, but this time my stay was bad since my arrival at the cabin, I was never informed that I should pick up the keys to enter another place (there is not that much of a problem That's why) when we arrived to get the keys they said that the cabin was not ready that they needed to clean first something unheard of due to the time it was, the check-in time is supposed to be at 3:00, I arrived at 5:30 and they still haven't It is clean according to them, the place where they give the keys looks very bad because it is dirty, at 6:30 they gave me the keys, I spent the first night there at dawn the kitchen was full of ants on the table and the stove. I had a very bad impression of that place, most of the things are in poor condition. I think they should have a little more awareness when renting their cabins in poor condition.
While there are quite a few updates that could be made to the cabin, for the price it is a great place to stay. There’s not much of a Mountain View, but the drive is so easy and it is close to several trolley stops. I think a good deep cleaning and really simple building updates would make this the perfect spot to stay on a budget.
The major issues I noticed were that there was insulation kind of floating around, which could be a hazard for children or pets. The cabin needs a good scrub, which could be easily outsourced to a local cleaning company.
Otherwise, the cabin was exactly as described. The shower has a wonderful water pressure and the kitchen is set up well. I didn’t end up using the hot tub because there is not enough hot water in the tank to actually take a hot bath and the tub itself very much needs cleaned. The bed is comfortable and clean, we didn’t have any issues with household pests, which is pretty impressive in the south in the summer.

Perfect spot for one or two people to get away for a while. A very short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, but felt remote at the same time. The kitchen is a bit small with very little room for prep work, but the dining table is close enough to use for that purpose. As a chef, I'm glad I brought my own knives and such, but the kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils and cookware.
There was some minor mold growth on the shower curtain, and the dryer's lint trap didn't look like it had been cleaned in ages (I didn't use the laundry facilities.)
Being able to soak in the jacuzzi tub right next to the fire place in the living area was amazing!
*Note* The wood burning fire place had a note by it saying it's not to be used between April 1st and ?(sometime in the fall.)
Overall a wonderful time!
For one we had to meet the owner to get the key, never had to do that before. Then the shower curtain had mold all over it. The hot tub was a complete mess, the couch was ran down and old. What we saw and spent money on was all the cabins put into one add to make it look nice and up to date. Never again will we rent from Brently Honey moon log cabin. I have photos.
He doesnt check the VRBO calendar. He had communicated with me on the vrbo app and when i got there had no place for us to stay. Had to drive home due to no vacancy in Gatlinburg
We really enjoyed our stay. One small complaint is that there isn’t any outdoor grill. Not a huge deal but would have been nice. We will definitely stay again.
