We had a great stay at this Hot Springs cabin! The loft area was great for my 2 kids to sleep. The hot tub was a great bonus. And the views were amazing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary stay and time in hot springs. The cabin was very clean and just as advertised. The hot tub and fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere.
Highly recommend going to the hot springs during your visit. So worth it!
Note about the location: this cabin is higher up the mountain and was a bit scary navigating in a sedan. If traveling during inclement weather I highly recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Overall, nice place. Well kept & clean. Access could be tough in low clearance vehicle and/or if it’s raining due to being at the top of the hill on fairly steep gravel dirt road.
While the place was very solid, small but nice. A couple of things I have never dealt with as a Vrbo customer: 1st, A $1500 security deposit? I have stayed at a lot of nicer places then this on VRBO and have never, ever had to pay a deposit. It also, took me 3 weeks to recieve this $ back after we left. 2nd: the sign "don't wear any shoes in the house" is ridiculous. I have never seen this before in any Vrbo. Finally: the note, "you must clean everything or you will be charged" is absurb. There is no dishwasher and there was no soap to even clean the dishes when we were there. Bottom line, my family didn't have a warm, fuzzy experience here with all these so called requirements.
My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay in Hot Springs. Sherwood cabin fit our needs perfectly and was so quiet and peaceful. We were there just in time for peak fall colors and saw deer and turkey right out the back window. Hot springs is a great little town with amazing views and nice hikes close by. Highly recommend!
Very clean and cozy cabin in the woods, very private. Just the kind of place we enjoy! Everything was as advertised. No surprises. Beautiful fall foliage surrounded us in the wonderful little town of Hot Springs. We definitely plan to return.
Quiet and peaceful mountain cabin to get away from it all. Close to the great little town of Hot Springs and to rivers and hiking, but just far enough and high enough to feel secluded. We enjoyed the firepit, the cool breezes on the porch and the hot tub.
Property owner/manager had all the right into in the welcome letter so make sure we could get here ok since you do tend to lose cell service. Property was excellent, view was gorgeous. We loved that we had a little more room to drive and park. Kitchen was adequately stocked- only thing was no soap to wash dishes so we had to buy some. Bed was comfy and hot tub at night watching fireflies was icing on this cake. Thank you!
This is a lovely, secluded and well appointed cabin only 1 5 miles fron Hot Springs. It will easiky accomodate 4 adults. Hot tub and fire pit are nice extras to enhance yiur stay.
Just like the photo! The cabin is very private/secluded. You wake up feeling like you’re in a treehouse. Bed is pretty comfortable, shower was nice, the kitchen has been very thing you need to cook a simple meal. I would recommend a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle with some decent clearance to get up the hill- but worth it once you’re up there! (Also you’d have to be quite a hiker to walk to town)
I was here for five days alone and then a friend joined me for the weekend. The first night a couple of the windows had come unsealed and there was an invasion of Mayflies and other bugs. The next morning I reached out to Julie about the issue. Within an hour the house cleaner and her son showed up. They cleaned up the dead bugs and resealed the windows and could not have been nicer or more thorough. To be clear this situation could have happened to ANY cabin in the woods. What was SO IMPRESSIVE is the way they dealt with the situation thoroughly and immediately. I was incredibly impressed. After that there were zero issues and it was the perfect, peaceful, clean haven I needed to mourn my father's recent passing. The outdoor space and hot tub were so relaxing and it was a quick walk or drive to town. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin and I hope to stay again soon!!
This house was beautiful and just what we needed for a weekend away! The check-in process was a little different as you had to directly reach out to the property message and not rely on the automatic messages from VRBO. The house was very close to town. It is pretty far up on a mountain and could be difficult for smaller vehicles. The hot tub was lovely. Would stay again for sure!
A true mountain getaway! This cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. It sits on top of the mountain so you have great views while relaxing in the hot tub or by the firepit. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it and Julie was so incredibly nice! Great place to stay!
Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. We very much enjoyed our stay. The road is steep but we made it up with no trouble whatsoever. Location to town is perfect! Thanks again!
Beautiful small cabin, super nice fire pit, very peaceful and gorgeous view. Very close and convenient to town but be sure to drive an appropriate vehicle. There are two hairpin uphill curves on a gravel/dirt road to get to the cabin. Check the message from the host for the keybox code as the one provided by VRBO is different and not correct.
