About this property

Crewe Cottage - Sandgate

We took over from the amazing host Tracy in mid-November 2018. This cottage is an original Queenslander with everything you need to make life comfortable, relaxing & enjoyable. Only 10 mins walk to shops, cafes, parks, public transport and the beautiful Moreton Bay. Easy access to Brisbane City, Airport, Sunshine & Gold Coasts. The cottage is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families.

The space
The house is totally self contained providing everything that a home requires. The three bedrooms, sleeping up to five people, are configured as 1 x queen, 1 x double and 1 x single. The bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, pedestal basin and toilet. The second toilet is conveniently located to the rear of the house, close to the outdoor area.

Self-Contained Kitchen and dining table. Large living space for the whole family.

The Queensland outdoor lifestyle theme carries to the fully fenced garden at the rear of the house where you will find a large covered outdoor living area complete with bbq and outdoor dining setting.

Guest access
The house is a self managed space. You will have code access the key safe to let yourself in and come and go as you please.
The house has front and back access.
There is street parking available (no meters or time limits in our street)

Highly recommend staying here if you're going to the Brisbane entertainment centre for a concert! It's an easy location to get to places with an easy vibe. We loved the quirky aesthetic of the cottage :l

Very cute cottage, dogs loved the garden and chilling out on the verandah. Our 3 year old Staffie/Cattle mix couldn't get enough of the great off leash beach area. Great to have a real dog friendly place .

Perfect base to explore surrounding area
Stayed at Crewe Cottage for 4 nights in August - great quiet neighborhood for family. With our rental car we explored the surrounding Brisbane very conveniently. Cute small house with everything we needed and well guided with details on all appliances. Thank you for the great family stay!

Lovely few days
The cottage is in a really good location. It is clean and well appointed, with all of the facilities required. Easy access to all the local shops and the esplanade. We had a lovely weekend there, and would recommend to anyone wanting to spend time in Sandgate.

Gorgeous cottage
Crewe Cottage is a lovely 1890s cottage, renovated and decorated in a way to blend modern conveniences with original features. It felt like a truely special space to stay in. Communication with host Kimberley was top notch. Would love to stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Excellent cottage
When we arrived everything was exactly as described. Communication with Kimberly was timely and helpful. We loved the location as it was a reasonable distance from shopping and the beach and close to lovely parks. The house was spotless and no bugs at all. The beds were good as were the linens. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of cleaning supplies. When we make a return visit, we will definitely try to book Crewe Cottage again.

We had a brilliant stay at Crewe cottage (2 adults + dog). The house and gardens are beautifully maintained, and everything you need is available. Hosts are lovely and responsive to any issues. Location is fantastic, so close to a range of beaches, parks, shops and restaurants. We hope to stay again sometime! Many thanks 😊

This is a well kept, clean and tidy little workers cottage. I have given a five star rating due to I felt at home even though I was having a getaway. Everything you would need is provided for and it is central to shops, medical services and outings. 3 minutes from the beach. I would recommend to stay here for families and couples alike, Thank you for making my stay so comfortable, I will be booking again😁

Crewe Cottage
Had a lovely stay at the beautiful Crewe Cottage. Check in process so easy, with great communication from the owner. A handbook was provided with all the information we needed. Quite helpful. The cottage was very “us” and comfortable. We had everything at our fingertips which is what we wanted. Somewhere for me to cook meals and relax. My husband and I slept in the front bedroom which was roomy enough for two, however the mattress on the bed had seen better days! I think the springs were passed their use by date! That is the only fault we found with our stay. I would absolutely stay at Crewe Cottage again because it was cosy, comfortable and central to everything. Thank you so much for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

A comfortable delight
Communication with the owner was first class. This cottage was a relaxing retreat for us as we were in limbo for an interstate relocation. The house is so well catered for in terms of things you need, and close to the shopping centre. We had our dog with us, and he loved the lagoon area close by. Perfect stay.

The property was as described in the advertisment, but I was surprised about how well equipped it was. It contained everything I would use at home and the welcome pack was comprehensive. It was so clear that we had no need to contact our hosts even though they lived in the property behind us.
