Very clean & comfortable!
My husband, our 2 teens, and I had a great stay at Music on the Mountain over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a convenient location for day trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The town of Duck Creek itself is cute as well. (We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Sue’s Chalet.) Note that Duck Creek high in elevation— 8000+ feet— so take precautions to avoid altitude sickness if you are not accustomed to the elevation. That being said, out of my family of 4 Floridians, only my daughter had symptoms— probably from not drinking enough water. After a day of rest and a lot of Gatorade, she was fine. The owner, Julie, was great to work with and responded to all my questions practically immediately. If you visit in cold weather, take Julie’s advice to have a 4-wheel drive and snow titles seriously— you will need them! My kids loved sledding (sleds included at the cabin), and exploring nearby Mammoth Cave. Seeing the locals harvest their own Christmas trees from the snowy surrounding forest was special indeed, since we usually get ours from Costco!

Great time on the mountain!
We had an amazing time staying at the Music on the Mountain cabin. The cabin is well equipped with pretty much everything you may need and is very clean. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. The surrounding scenery was amazing and the cabin is right between Bryce and Zion and don't forget Cedar Breaks only 30 minutes away. We'll definitely be back some day..

Wonderful property. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time at this cabin. It was conveniently located and we really enjoyed the ping pong and pool table. Just a suggestion to add more lighting above the pool table. It was too dim at night. But overall we had a great time and would recommend this cabin.

Quiet, clean cabin is my new fave
Our stay was exactly as expected! Fit us all perfectly, had all the amenities, beautiful and clean, easy to access, and quiet, away from motorists. Our host couldn’t have been better. We loved sitting on the desk enjoying the deer and small wildlife, and we will be back. Thanks Julie!

Great Basecamp for National Parks
Had a great stay at Music on the Mountain with my family. My kids enjoyed the pool and table tennis and we had a great time enjoying a fire at night. The cabin was clean, had great open spaces and accommodations for everyone. I would recommend staying here to enjoy the Duck Creek community and its central location to national parks.

Loved Music 🎶 in the Cabin
We reserved this cabin last minute and must say it was the best decision. My mother needed a place to enjoy her grandchildren and spend time with them. It hosted my entire family. We relaxed and enjoyed the amenities playing pool, ping pong and board games. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood while enjoying deer coming over to visit the property! In all there was plenty of room for all 8 guests. Thank you so much! Hope to come back again.

Greatest Place on the Mountain
Words can't let you know how great this place and host are. From the first moment we drove up we new we picked a grand place. When we opened the door it was even better. It was so clean (a lot to do with taking your shoes off) and so decorated. The pool table was awesome for us when we got back from the parks to relax. It is stocked with everything you need, and more. Julie was so easy to work with (see we had to cancel this place a year ago because of Covid and she worked great with us). We rebooked and so glad we did. It is close to both Bryce and Zion canyons. Also Red Canyon is on the way to Bryce, it is a great side trip. The cabin is located in a cute little Village (Duck Creek Village). Everyone is so nice. Doug at the True Value is full of information about the area and showed us a hike we could do to a Pond. The Cafe and Aunt Sue's are good places to eat. Hot Mamma's is great but only opened Fri, Sat, and Sun. Okay back to the cabin. Fire ring outside and fireplace inside. We needed both since it was in the 20's in the morning during our May trip. It warmed up to around the mid 60's during the day. There are plenty of heaters in the house and we never got to cold. We had deer visit us 3 out of the 5 days we were there. There is a nice gas grill that we used to cook a romantic dinner 2 nights. It is just such a great place to relax and enjoy nature as it use to be. So now you see why I said Words can't really tell you how great this place is. If you are reading this you probably are looking at this cabin. Don't pass it up, you will be so glad you stayed here. Ed

Lovely Mountain Retreat
We had a wonderful time at Music on the Mountain cabin. We chose to stay in Duck Creek Village because of its proximity to both Zion and Bryce Canyon Nat'l Parks. It worked out perfectly. Just be aware, when planning, that Duck Creek Village is at 8,500 ft in elevation ... which can mean snow in late fall or late winter, brief though it may be. Take the advice for a all 4 wheel drive vehicle seriously. Luckily - the gas station in the village has a ready supply of snow cables (chains) available for most tire sizes! The cabin and surroundings are a wonderful place to be in any season. The cabin is very well equipped for everything you may need - including fun activities. Everything was spotless and ready to go, including logs, kindling and lighter for the big iron stove. The host is wonderful to work with and was very generous with her time and advice. If you plan to do some of your own cooking (might be necessary because some of the restaurants close a bit earlier than we are used to) make sure to stock up on groceries at the Smith's in Cedar City. We loved our stay and would stay there again.
