Located only minutes from shops, cafes and bakeries or head up for a meal and cold drink at the St Georges Basin Country Club which has a free courtesy bus right to your door.

Sanctuary Point is a picturesque coastal village offering a peaceful escape with plenty of outdoor activities. Whether you love fishing, boating, or simply relaxing by the water, this location has it all.

Only minutes from the world renowned Hyams Beach and the very special Booderee National Park, as well as the neighbouring towns of Vincentia and Huskisson where you can find many trendy cafes, restaurants, bars and boutique shopping.

There are a range of local activities to experience like dolphin and whale watching, scuba diving, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and bike hire.

Blankets and pillows are provided for all beds and this property also provides linen. Linen is sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and bath mats.

Christmas family holiday
House was quite basic and little privacy between bedrooms with thin walls and slatted doors. Aircon does not work very well. It did have everything we needed though and plenty of space for the 5 of us. Although bit squishy for 3 teenagers (17,18 and 19) in 2nd bedroom. Would be well suited to smaller chldren. Bring mozzie coils and extra flyspray! Nice location, close to shops and the country club. Dog friendly, but make sure your dog has a tick treatment before going. Our dog unfortunately picked one up and is now in Vet hospital recovering as we did not think to check him for them!

Comfy enough, but glad it wasn't very hot or cold
Good location and access to the walking track along the foreshore, as well as being a short drive to shops and takeaways. We found the master bed fairly comfortable, and the couches were fine for the days we spent cooped up reading and watching TV while it rained. Neat little TV and home cinema setup, which allowed me to plug my own HDMI device in. No WiFi here, but we had adequate mobile data (TPG/vodaphone). The listing is incorrect: there is NO dishwasher. Fridge and oven are good. The hot water is BOILING hot so beware, as it comes on quick. Front loader washing machine worked fine. There is a fireplace in the kitchen for heating. For cooling, there is a box aircon next to the dining table which works ok, and one somewhat unsafe pedestal fan located in the master bedroom. Seriously, all the fan blades are falling apart and the thing sounds like a freight train when turned on. (A $50 tax deductible spend to replace this needs to be considered by the owner!) We were lucky the temperatures were moderate and the wind kept the bugs and mozzies at bay (as some of the flyscreens are ripped). If we had faced hot summer nights, I would have wished we'd found a place with aircon in the master bedroom. And if it is cold, unless they have portable heaters locked away during summer, you would have to light the fire in the kitchen to get the place warmed up. We ended up having a comfortable stay for one week, with nearly four of those days being cooped up while it rained and howled with wind. We didn't get to enjoy sitting on the back deck much, though without shade it wouldn't have been for long. I didn't even check out the BBQ in the wood shed, but my wife said it looked pretty rusty.

Great stay, parked the boat out the front.
We had a fantastic stay at this place, clean, nice linen, everything that you need. Even parked the boat in the bay out the front, great holiday place.

Very disappointing property, not clean at all, no dishwasher as advertised, bbq was rusted.
Would not recommend this property at all. Over priced, definitely not 4.5 stars as purported , would rate a low 3 stars! More to the above, even the shower caddy was rusted and the tea bags were 5 years out of date! Property covered in cobwebs and dirty. Couldn’t use toilet when the power went off for 5 hrs with no change over device to change over to mains water, as is required by law! Air conditioner is a relic from the 80’s and rattled continually and the fan provided was covered in dust! The whole house was musty and very uncomfortable. Food lids and dirty tissues under lounge seats! Dead cockroaches on the floors.

This property had everything we needed. They supplied all the linen and even had condiments etc in the cupboard. It was spotless and the location was fantastic. The only problem was there wasn't enough time to enjoy everything. A wonderful break.
