Walk into the front door and see all the way to the Cypress trees lining the shores of the Creek. Let the flowing waters lull you into a peaceful sleep in the well appointed cottage. In the morning awake to coffee on the deck and then outdoor cooking on the rock patio in the evening. It just doesn't get any better than that.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meal you would like.

If you are inclined to stay in, there is Spectrum cable, WIFI, TV and a DVD player to enhance your stay.
However, if you would like to go into town, it is just a short trip of 1.5 miles and you are in the center of the action.

Great location & views
Great location and loved the creek view. Well stocked and comfy beds. Need more instruction on how to work TV. Town of Wimberly is super cute and relaxing. We had lots of fun!

Family time
We love staying on cypress creek it is quiet and calm and safe. Just what our family needs. One problem we experienced was finding the entry code when we arrived. On previous visits I think it was in a welcome note a few days before arrival. I coulnot find it or our host’s phone numbers. I went through my mail and finally found the code but it wasn’t with my recent communications. The cabin and grounds are lovely and we had a great visit after we got inside

Nice getaway before the new year
Relaxing getaway. Our first time trying out VRBO and Wimberley. Home has pretty creek and very close to groceries and local market square.

The perfect getaway!
This place is in such a quiet, beautiful location, but is very convenient to all of the great shops and restaurants in Wimberley. The back deck was the best place for morning coffee and birdwatching. I hope to stay again very soon!

We have stayed here before and love the location and house set up. The combination lock entrance was tempermental this time and we missed the colorful rug in the living room but overall we love staying here. And the property manager is always available and helpful if there is a problem.

Connie's place on the creek is in a nice location with creek access.The house has been very clean for both stays, and the back patio is fenced in with a great view.

Great spot on Cypress Creek
This property was a great little end of summer getaway for us. The location is perfect for Wimberly. The creek right in our backyard was amazing. The last day of our stay we didn't leave the property and it was perfect.

We planned on going to float the river, this place was so amazing we never left the house. The water was nice and cool people were friendly we floated right in front of the house it was a beautiful place. Definitely looking forward to coming back

Our stay was wonderful! Very close to water and well furnished. Close to town yet still a very quiet spot. Only issue we encountered at all was that it is a very steep hill down to the water. Borrowed stone steps off to the side and then we could make it! Other than that it was perfect! Would definitely stay again.

Very Relaxing Atmosphere
This was such a nice place to stay. It was relaxing to sit on the back porch & watch people have fun in the water. It is very close to the water & we loved that. We had everything we needed & the beds were so comfortable. Very lovely atmosphere. The bedrooms were bright & cheerful. What we really loved were our walks down the road, seeing deer & flowers. The weather was cool in the mornings of July! Evenings were nice as well. Check in was a breeze & Connie goes out of her way to help you with any issues that might arise. She is a kind & caring person. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Connie for going above & beyond the norm.

Great Place - we'll be back!!
This was a perfect place for our girls weekend! The cottage was stocked with everything we needed - could use a new drop coffee maker LOL! But literally that was the only thing. The river out back was a feeling of pure tranquility but yet you were only minutes from the great shopping and restaurants of Wimberly. We'll definitely be back!

Cypress Creek was clear and beautiful. Very shaded and relaxing floating in the creek. Back yard was shaded also made it perfect for barbecue and no sunburn. House was very comfortable and beds cozy. Loved our stay.

Second Visit to Azul Casita
This was our second visit within six months to this home and we love it! The house is well appointed for families to stay in, stocked with all the necessities. I always appreciate the added coffee! Lovely home among the cypress trees
My husband and I stayed at Azul Casita and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and close to town. Its a beautiful setting and a very special place. Being able to dip in the creek and lounge on the deck or chairs by the water was a great way to spend the hot afternoons. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with basic items that made cooking easy. The owner was very responsive. Overall we were very pleased and would stay there again.

Obviously, the photo above is not me. However, it is my grandson, and that big fish is one of many that he caught in Cypress Creek at Azul Casita. He fished while we worked on the cottage. It was quite a summer.
We would work all day and then stop and enjoy the evenings on the back deck until we just had to go on home and get a little rest.
We even talked about moving there we liked it so much. Then I thought about moving and decided we would give others a chance to enjoy this great place.
My husband and I have been living in Wimberley full time for the last 2 years, and up until then, we spent every weekend here. Our whole family is here. Our 2 sons and our grandson and granddaughter, who is a cheerleader for WHS. We have a very full life just keeping up with all of their activities, but enjoy the vacation rental business as well. That is why we bought Azul Casita and her next door neighbor Amarillo Casita. We are happy to report both cottages have been renovated and are ready for happy, fun vacationers to visit. Give it a try, you will be glad you did. A little piece of heaven, and throw in a little magic, await your arrival.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of the absolutely gorgeous setting and The wonderful cool, clear, deep water here on Cypress Creek. There is no other place like it in Wimberley. We feel so fortunate to be the owners.
Maybe retire here. What a thought!

What makes this property unique

This property has such a unique location. We are only 1.5 miles from the downtown square, but when you are here you feel as though you are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are able to unwind, relax and just be.
However, if you demand more action, just drive 1.5 miles and you are there.
