This charming one bedroom cottage located ‘on the hill’ in downtown Saugatuck is perfect for a weekend getaway to rest and recharge. Lovingly named Henri’s Cottage after our adorable pup, it is filled with every amenity a couple would need for a tranquil weekend away.

After parking in the dedicated parking spot on site, steps lead to your private balcony and entrance located above our detached garage. Furnished with a queen bed, luxurious linens and quilt, as well as a beautiful bath area complete with complimentary Aveda spa products, Henri’s Cottage is entirely turn-key.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on your private balcony, overlooking the garden. Henri’s Cottage is well appointed with a mini-fridge, Keurig Coffee Machine (K-Cups included), coffee mugs, wine glasses and a bottle opener.

The cottage also has a TV, Comcast cable and DVD player.

Henri’s Cottage offers a short walk to adorable downtown Saugatuck and all of the shops, restaurants and charm the city provides. A 10-minute drive will lead you to local beaches, State Parks and scenic dunes. After a day filled with shopping, hiking the famous Mt. Baldhead or exploring other nearby shoreline towns unwind in the large soaking tub or on the balcony under the stars. A visit to Henri’s Cottage is one you won’t soon forget.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Henri’s cottage. The tub is fantastic! Really relaxing, and the bed and sheets are fantastic. Good location- close to the farmers market and the river and downtown.

Absolutely loved this perfect space!

Not only were the owners, Whitney, Chris & Henri, incredibly inviting and helpful, but the space that they have created made us feel invited and a little spoiled. The bed was awesome! They have thought of everything you may need while you're away. All the quaint, little touches make you forget you're away from home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

A retreat for play and connection

Absolutely fantastic property - clean and so comfortable. It was the perfect space for exploring the beaches, taking bike rides and sampling everything Saugatuck has to offer. The Hosts were perfect communicators and also we felt the space was very private. Everything was perfect. If Henri's Cottage is available, book it! You won't be disappointed.

Cutest cottage!

My best friend and I stayed at Henri’s cottage and had the absolute best time. The hosts were extremely kind and communicative. The property was absolutely lovely and very clean. Even the outside garden is so charming. It was stocked with all of the amenities that we needed. It’s definitely in walking distance to the Saugatuck downtown area but we drove every day and didn’t have issues with parking. The location is incredible and everything is super nearby. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage, charming town

The little touches (pet dish for our pooch, bottled water and chocolates for us) that Whitney and Chris have in Henris cottage, made our short stay very enjoyable. The super comfortable bed, fluffy, soft towels, and the little fridge were all sweet reminders of home. Downtown Saugatuck, on the water, was delightful. Can't wait to go back to Phils...what an awesome recommendation. We would definitely recommend this cottage to friends or family looking for a getaway. Thanks for everything, Whitney and Chris.

Adorable, clean, and thoughtfully organized!

We loved our stay at Henri's Cottage! My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway as part of Spring Break (I teach 2nd Grade). We wanted to bring our 10lb dachshund with us. Whitney and Chris were more than accomidating! Chris met us when we arrived and showed us the ins and outs of Henri's Cottage. Recent updates to the space include a sliding "barn door" to separate off the bathroom area. Extra blankets, flashlights, and toiletries were just some of the little extras that were already in place. Chris was a wealth of information in regards to local restaurants and attractions. We loved checking out the Saugatuck Dunes, Oval Beach, and Saugatuck Brewery. Thanks again to Whitney, Chris, and Henri! We loved staying at your place!

Serenity in Saugatuck

Cozy Autumn Getaway!

Look no further than Henri's Cottage for your Saugatuck stay! The cottage is well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and is immaculate. The cottage is conveniently located to downtown shops, restaurants and bars, but is tucked back in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The owners are caring, kindhearted and responsive. Perfect Saugatuck stay location

We had a quick weekend getaway and this space and location were ideal. Small, cozy, clean and stocked with all necessities (including an umbrella for a rainy walk home one night). Easy walk to the river/downtown, tons of food, drink and shopping locations. Easy drive to major hiking spots, the beach/Lake Michigan, surrounding communities. Hosts are very kind and readily available if needed, but leave you to yourselves otherwise. Highly recommend for a couple heading yo the Saugatuck/Douglas area. Very easy check in & out.
