Relaxing Riverhead Retreat

This beautifully renovated 1920s bungalow has a gorgeous open plan living area perfect for relaxing. The sunny deck is peaceful and private, a great place to enjoy a glass of local wine at the end of your day. The beautiful clawfoot bath in the second bathroom is a fantastic place to unwind and get away from it all.

Set in the heart of historic Riverhead, Riverhead Retreat is well positioned for an enjoyable stay. Only a short drive to Hallertau Brewery and various Kumeu wineries or a 250m walk to the Riverhead Tavern (and the Boat House wedding venue) means that you have plenty of options to explore during your stay. If you don't want to go anywhere the house is a beautiful setting to relax and unwind.

Everything about this place met our expectations, and then some. Enjoyed our short walks to the Beekeepers Cafe and once to the little grocery store after dinner for milk. The large kitchen was full of light and well stocked. My family was very comfortable.

Lovely NZ Villa
Perfect location for our needs to visit family and friends. Very comfortable house. Just a 5 minute walk to the Riverhead pub, the local shops and restaurant. (The Bee Keepers Wife is very good). Easy, short drive to Hobsonville to catch the ferry into Auckland. Also an easy drive to either coast.
