A good house in the wilderness.
The house is far away from any other property, so you really feel like being in the forrest, and this was exactly what attracted us to that property.

Complete gem
We love-love-loved staying here. Amazing spot surrounded by coastal bushland, a private track out to explore the inlet, the mangroves and watch birds. Kangaroos eating around the house. We went to our dog and had a quiet few days, did a bit of hiking and swimming, enjoyed a fire in the evening, made some nice food in a lovely new kitchen. The interior is also lovely, with lots of things to look at inside as well as great windows out into the surrounding bush. Thanks so much - this was a dream house.

Like a step back in time (in a good way!)
I stayed here with my partner and our dog to celebrate by birthday. We absolutley loved it. It's nothing 'fancy' but has all the home comforts you would need and is surprisingly spacious. There is poor internet connection and reception but this meant we spent the weekend strolling the beach, drinking wine, reading and taking naps. The location is fantastic and the wildlife on the property was a real highlight. An incredibly cosy property that we intend on returning to!

Gorgeous house with a a very homely lived in vibe.
We loved the isolated location and the homey vibe. We felt like we had just dropped in to a friends place for a couple of days. Loved the record player and wood fire. The bed set up being 1 x King, 1 x Queen and 1 x Double was a bit of a challenge for us to bring linen and not ideal for a family with young kids as the rooms are quite isolated. We loved the very private location and easy access to the inlet. We would definitely go again.

Beautiful escape!
Thank you so much for allowing us to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary at your place!! The house is beautiful, and strolling back and forward to the beach while listening to music in front of the fire was absolutely the best way to chill out in Venus Bay. We will be back:)

Peace and tranquillity
Tucked away in the tea tree with the water only metres from the house, this is a wonderful place for a holiday. Took our two dogs and had a great time walking along the shore and swimming at the beach. Nature at its finest. The house is an eclectic comfy beach shack.

Magical secluded location
We had a fabulous stay. Loved just hanging around the inside & outside of the house, playing vinyl on the turntables & sitting around the fire.

Wonderful family retreat
A beautiful natural setting to revive, relax, connect with your family, play records, dance, sing, paint, draw, read, play, walk, swing, drink tea, tend the fire, have a bath. Loved by every member of the family including the dog. Very private. Husband says, “bring along a log splitter, and don’t use too many appliances at once.”

Great, great place
Never felt so relaxed. Everything we needed, nothing we didn't. Great beach access, classic family holiday house. Except the 1.000 piece jigsaw puzzle was missing a single piece. Who does that and doesn't include some sort of note in the box. I mean, the puzzle was fun, shouldn't complain. Free, and all that. But still. Wow. In many ways, perhaps that is a traditional family jigsaw puzzle condition. But you know, wow. 1,000 pieces. Well, 999, but you know what I mean.

Best holiday house!
Loved staying at 812 Lees road. A beautiful bush block and so close to the Inlet. If seclusion is what you are after, this is the place.

Rustic charmer
We loved every minute of our holiday by the inlet!! We loved being able to walk to the inlet in a flash, the rustic charm of the house, the eclectic mix of furniture .. especially the record player and speakers outside!! There was so much room and everything was thought of to make our stay super comfortable. Thank you for a brilliant week!!

Gorgeous rustic retreat
We absolutely loved staying in this funky rustic beach house. Itis a stones throw from Anderson's Inlet and is set in a beautiful banksia and teatree parkland. We loved lighting the slow combustion fire at night and playing records from the owner's great collection. During the day, we walked along the inlet beach and rested in the hammocks. Divine.
