Walk across the road to the Napier Beach and playground and take a short stroll to the Napier CBD for shopping and cafes/restaurants. Unwind after a days shopping with the Napier Ocean view before cooking your own BBQ meal or fine dining in Napier.

Beach location

Wow this place was so cozy and peaceful. The surroundings of the beach and cafe’s and restaurants was amazing. Definitely will stay there again.

Great location

The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The only thing missing is a bbq and cooking amenities like an electric frypan. Also there is no salt & pepper, only the VERY bare basics.

Central Deco beauty

Our family of five loved this house! It's central looking out over Hawke's Bay and a short walk to Napier centre. Compact but good-sized bedrooms/living space and plenty of free parking. Nicely done up, while also keeping the area's Deco character. Highly recommended, will stay again.

My friends and I enjoyed staying in a house as opposed to a motel room as it gave us the ability to hang out in the lounge. We liked how close it was to town. Clean and tidy with everything you need.

Lovely property for a family. Easy walk to main attractions. I had to enquire about check-in process the day before hand but otherwise a great stay.

House close to the beach

This is an older 3 bedroom house with a small bathroom but does have a second toilet off the laundry. The bathroom exhaust fan had a very noisy external flap which was continually banging and resulted in no one being able to sleep in the twin bedded room. We had to shut the door to keep the noise from disturbing the other two bedrooms. I suggest the furniture in the lounge room be moved so it can be vacuumed underneath as we found food scraps left by previous tenants. This house is located close to town so a great location to walk to shopping, the beach and eateries.

A hidden gem, we would easily stay again

Unprepossessing from the outside, this offers more comfort than every other property we have stayed in as we toured the North Island. Facilities inside more than sufficed. Larger than it looked and absolutely complementing the Art Deco exterior. Views were fab ( We had a full moon rise over the water - unexpectedly good timing on our part) and a busy road was not a problem inside. Conveniently close to central Napier, we were able to walk everywhere we needed, so we did. All in all, fabulous, well done our host! Regards Lorraine
