Amazing outdoor space/decks front and back, gas grill and griddle, campfire wood provided. (No Pets, No Exceptions!) Parking Area Security Cam - Additional per night fee over six (6). (This provides a lower rate for smaller groups. Please be upfront about the number of guests as it is automatically built into the rate offer)
**June - 5 night minimum, July and August - 7 night minimum. Saturday check-in Check-Out. ** Base Rate is for 6, additional per night fee for over 6 guests.

Fabulous hideaway!

Private, well-stocked kitchen, large space for a diverse group with 5 bedrooms (with multiple bed sizes), 3 bathrooms (with at least one step in shower & 1 tub), 2 family rooms & porches, games including foosball table, fire pit, etc. We had great quality family experiences here, again. Peaceful, comfortable outdoor spaces.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood. All the outdoor seating areas were fantastic - fire pit area with lots of chairs and plenty of good firewood, comfortable couches on the front porch and the back track and an outdoor kitchen area with propane supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pots and pans were good quality. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. It was a perfect weekend.

Our home away from home

We started staying here about 3 years ago and now come twice a year. The house is very discieving when you come up the driveway as it looks small but it is large on the main floor with a huge finished basement with additional living area. It's a great central meeting spot for family and friends. We enjoy visiting Huntington, Raystown and Martinsburg while here but it is easy to find plenty to do at the property. The fully stocked kitchen and beautiful outdoor kitchen is our favorite part! Almost all of our meals are prepared on the Blackstone. The kitchen even has a few basics - seasonings, oil, flour, sugar etc. if you forget an ingredient. Two awesome outdoor areas on both sides of the house, lots of wildlife to observe. Games & activities to play. Nice sized fire pit with plenty of seating too. Dave is a great host & easy to communicate with. Thanks so much for having us once again! Looking forward to next time.

Quiet Lake Get-Away

We love this property, have stayed before and hope to be back more. It’s super clean, spacious, has all the amenities, beautiful wooded lot, awesome back deck to sit and enjoy the quiet. Dave the host is wonderful!

Great place to stay

My third time staying here for an annual mountain bike trip to the Allegrippis Trails. Please do not rent this house for the next dates that I take my crew there. But for any other dates, this is a very comfortable place to stay and extremely close to the mountain bike trail heads. Clean, well-stocked kitchen, very cool outdoor decks/hang-out spaces, etc.

Heaven on top of the mountain

The property was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for large families. Fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar and laundry. Everything we needed was right at your fingertips. There is a Walmart within 15 minutes of the property for groceries and a bait store on the way to the marina. After spending the mornings/afternoons on beautiful Raystown Lake, we enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evenings watching the wildlife. One night we had approximately 30 turkeys roost in the trees behind the deck. Deer also moved about. If we come back to Raystown, we would definitely stay at this property again! Texting made communication with Dave the owner simple. We had great cell phone reception at the property and on the lake. (AT&T) I would score this property 10/10. One of the nicest we have rented. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect for our group

The property was very nice and the house was just perfect for our group of 3 couples. Everyone had their own bathroom which was perfect. My omly regret is not staying longer. The house was very well appointed and hadeverything you need.

Fun and Relaxing Stay

Dave’s place was a home away from home and a great meeting spot for our Labor Day trip with friends and family. A peaceful stay in the woods close to attractions at Raystown Lake and very private. Enjoyed spending time outside on the front and back porches, using the corn hole boards and outdoor kitchen, and sitting on the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. Beautiful property that had everything we needed to cook multiple meals for 3 families, fully stocked kitchen!

Perfect Getaway Rental

Picked this property due to the location being close to the lake and the high reviews. The reviews are accurate as this place was great!! It had everything we needed and more. Fully stocked. There is a 36” flat top and a grill with plenty of propane. The back deck is a great place to sit. There was camp fire wood provided with plenty of chairs provided. Three full bathrooms and two living rooms. It was hot! while we were there and the AC worked wonderful. The house is at a dead end private road and we did not hear any of the neighbors. We would defiantly rent again!! The owner/host has great communication.

Wonderful family vacation spot

Our host, Dave, kept in contact with me prior to and during our stay, providing local information and answering my questions immediately. The home is beautiful and set up so well for a multi-generational stay. Enough room that we could find a quiet spot and open enough for all 8 of us to be together. The outdoor setting is so nice and we had a great time playing outside and having campfires. This is a place that we plan on returning to. Everyone had a wonderful time here. Thanks Dave!

Perfect for our stay in Raystown Lake

This was perfect for our long weekend with family! It was so close to Seven Points Marina, where we rented a boat for the day. We were able to bring our kids down to the lake beach each night to play for a little bit without it being a hassle. We used the firepit on the property both nights, which was a perfect way to end our relaxing days. The house is deceptively large inside. There was plenty of room for our 2 families. The kids loved the foosball table and game closet. We brought food and cooked at the house both nights. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and used the grill outside. The owners began communicating with us a few days before our arrival and the entry codes were sent to us the morning of arrival. It was a flawless check in and checkout. We had so much fun and are talking about making this a yearly stay!
