Ocean Front 2 bedroom 2 Bath Condo

Whitewater views from 3rd floor and south facing (quiet side) condo. 2 ocean view balconies. Parking spot in garage and secure building. 2 elevators, & community hot tub. Walk to restaurants, CVS, Ralph's, stores and bars. Recently upgraded with new kitchen appliances, including refrigerator, stove top, oven, dishwasher, new carpet, tile, and bathroom sinks and hardware. Leather couch and chairs. King bed in master, with new mattress and new queen bed in 2nd bedroom. Owner uses condo, but will rent occasionally during the year. The building doesn't have air conditioning, but there are fans in the closets.

Family vacation

Chris's oceanfront condo is beautiful. It was very clean and well appointed The beds were comfortable, as was the sofa and big chair. There were plenty of clean towels and linens, nice pots, pans, dishware, flatware, and glasses. The views from the condo are breathtaking and amazing. To be able to see and hear the ocean is a joy and is so peaceful. The walkability to restaurants, grocery shopping, and of course the boardwalk is great. We hope to stay there again and would highly recommend it to all fellow travelers. Chris is a great host.

Beautiful view

What a fantastic place to stay. We would sit on the balcony, watch the ocean as we had a glass of wine. Got plenty of exercise by walking the beautiful beach which is right outside the building. It was a little chilly but we brought warm clothing and it couldn't have been nicer. Chris was so easy to work with and we hope to be able to repeat this exceptional trip again in the future.

Great beach front location

My family and I (kids ages 8 and 5) stayed 5 nights and it was a perfect spot for what we were looking for. The ocean views and boardwalk were so fun with lots to see and do. Having garage parking was nice since we had a rental car. Was easy to get around the city and then make our way back to the condo in the evening with plenty of places to hop over to for dinner. The hot tub was so nice for end of the day relaxation. There is some noise at night from the bars and public but that didn’t bother us and mostly just heard the sounds of the waves. Grocery store was maybe 5 min walk away also. Would highly recommend this spot for a family or small group to stay in.

Girls trip/birthday celebration.

We all loved our stay here. Easily accessible. It was a perfect location for navigating activities nearby. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Boardwalk was great for walking. All necessities provided in the kitchen. Suggest maybe adding a small air fryer. Balconies were good for people watching. Chair would be nice on the bedroom balcony. Appreciated the free WiFi and parking spot in the garage. Felt safe. The Welcome book provided was very helpful. Enjoyed many of the restaurants listed. Ralphs grocery store within walking distance. Would rent again.

Amazing Getaway!

This condo was the perfect place to spend Spring Break! It had everything we needed. The balcony had a great view of the ocean to watch the sunrise, sunset, and surfers. The location is ideal to walk down to the beach, shopping, and restaurants as well as a short drive to attractions and the airport. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable

We stayed for four nights and enjoyed the wonderful views from living room and master bedroom. The beds were comfortable, electronics easy to use, kitchen well equipped, and check in and out were simple. The home is in a great location to walk to Pacific Beach or down to Mission Beach. (The elevators are slow -- but that is only negative -- but hey, you are on vacation so relax!)

Late Christmas with family

We used this condo as spillover for out of town family visiting from the east coast. The third floor, southern exposure gave us great mornings on the sun filled balcony with unobstructed ocean views. The condo has new carpet. We met the owner who said he was upgrading the unit. This address is in the heart of the the PB beach. Everything we needed was within a two block radius.

Lovely apartment with great location

The living room and deck faced down the beach, giving us great views of waves and surfers. The Master had the same great view and its own small deck. The second bedroom faced onto the interior walkway. The unit had recently been re-carpeted and was very fresh feeling. The building is right next to the beach and beach walk- so great for long walks. The only small downside was the noise from the plaza right next to the building. The plaza was a popular spot for loud music.

Pacific Beach Jewel

This property is located in an excellent area within walking distance to restaurants, food stores and the essential liquor. It also is in easy driving distance to all the points of interest in San Diego. It’s very clean and comfortable and easily accommodated our party of four (4) adults. We’ll certainly stay again and so should you.

Return to Happy Place

After living in San Diego for 35 years, we relocated to Northern California to be closer to family. It was 18 months since our departure — our first trip back was wonderful! Chris’ condo was beyond perfect for us. Great Pacific Beach location— steps from the beach, many restaurants, lots of friendly folks and above all, a clean, nicely decorated third floor unit with a fantastic view, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. This See the Sea property will put a smile on your face the minute you step through the door.

Great locale

Pros: ◦ The view: can’t beat the oceanfront view! ◦ The location: easy beach access, close to grocery store (walking distance); there were unhoused people in the area, but you will see them everywhere in San Diego. When they were around the balcony area, they were quiet and didn’t cause any issues during our stay. ◦ Building was quiet: the building rules keep things quiet between 8pm-8am. ◦ Beach accessories: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards provided ◦ Comfortable beds: the beds were really comfortable and clean ◦ Clean: everything in the condo was very clean ◦ Check-in was easy and straightforward Cons: ◦ Communication with host—did not respond to inquiries in a timely manner or at all. ◦ Microwave was broken when we arrived. Chris said he would see if the maintenance person could stop by—he never did for the week we were there. Reheating leftovers and even preparing food was not convenient without a microwave. ◦ Listing was not entirely accurate in terms of amenities provided. For example, there were no board games. I mentioned this to Chris but did not get an actual answer as to why that was. There were only 3 beach towels instead of 4. There was only one kitchen towel. ◦ Space could use some updating. The decor was a little outdated, which is not a big deal. But the couch and chairs are a little worse for wear and could use an update. The bottom line for us was that none of the cons would have necessarily been dealbreakers for us. It was simply inconvenient t

Very nice stay

We enjoyed four nights here beginning one day after the "hurricane" blew through. Lots of fun things to do. Excellent Mexican restaurant one block away. Boardwalk. Pier is fun. Easy access to downtown, Old Town, etc. Very clean and well provided.

Potential

The building is very old and the elevator is rickety. There is no air conditioning so had to leave all windows and doors open which was sketchy because of the area and all of the traffic coming in the circle drive. There were 3 families living in their cars below our balcony and they were up very early getting ready to sell their trinkets to tourists. Even though the booklet with instructions said there were 2 fans, we could only find one. When I emailed the owner to ask him, I got no response. So we had to buy a fan at CVS so both couples could stay cool at night. There wasn’t any hand soap and not enough toilet paper so we also purchased that for both bathrooms. The set-up of the closet/bathroom area in the bedroom with a queen bed was rediculous. The closet doors closed over the bathroom sink, so 2 people trying to get ready was impossible.

Fantastic Beach Vacation!

We stayed here with our 3 year old son. It was a quiet complex and a very clean apartment. There were even boars games for little kids. We absolutely loved the view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom. Being able to walk to the beach with a small child was amazing. It was great to be so close, I was able to walk back to the apartment to grab some snacks we forgot for the beach while my husband and son stayed playing in the sand. It was a perfect location and a perfect vacation. Chris has really set up a great VRBO vacation spot.

My parents purchased the condo when it was built in 1974. They used to have it as a vacation rental but 15 years ago rented it long term. Recently they decided to use it themselves and when it is vacant, rent it to vacationers.

Why they chose this property

This is an ocean front building, with wonderful views of the the beach, boardwalk and people having fun. It is on the south sunny side of the property, so it does not have all the noise from the bars and restaurants, yet close enough to walk to them. You can walk to restaurants, stores, bars, groceries and yoga.

What makes this property unique

3rd Floor, south facing condo with two ocean view balconies. Recently upgraded with new tile and carpet floors, kitchen appliances, bathroom cabinets and plumbing hardware. 2 large tv's, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
