Perfect vacation spot. Away from the noise of the city but close enough to everything. House has everything you need for the perfect vacation! And the views are breathtaking!!
Location was wonderful for calm, relaxing, tranquil vacation. The house is amazing, clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. Sunset colors are amazing. The Bay is wonderful to watch.
Definitely worth your stay and will return again.
Very nice quiet neighborhood. The sunrise and sunset views cannot be beat. The house is nice, comfortable beds and roomy. The house is only a couple of miles from local restaurants like The Point, Hub Stacey's, The Salty Pearl and more. It's only a short drive to Johnson's Beach. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

Awesome house on the bayou
We absolutely loved this house. Staying on the bayou was perfect for us. I really enjoyed kayaking in the bayou, and a couple of times we even saw a dolphin right in front of the dock. It was a very nice, quiet neighborhood and the neighbor was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there and my family will be looking to go back there again.
Everything is there. A quick stop at the grocery store just up the road and your set for a great week of relaxation, Fishing, kayaking, Dolphin and Oprey watching and ended with a great sunset.
We have an overall wonderful experience and time during our stay. Lisa is extremely easy to work with and very responsive. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The sunsets are magnificent, the neighborhood is nice and quiet, the beach is less than a 10 minute drive away and we loved having a dock to fish and catch huge blue crabs! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time. My sons loved the kayak and crab fishing. It is short drive to Johnson beach. There is a fee to get on the beach but it is well worth it. It was probably the prettiest beach I've ever seen. The Tanger Outlets are about 45 minutes away in Foley, AL. Overall, we loved our stay.
Perfect location close to everything but far enough out of the way
House was perfect size for my wife and I , two girls and father-in-law. House was clean everything was good. Little short on cooking ware but had everything we really needed. The only downside was the dock being unusable but we knew that from listing . Would definitely rent again. Caught some fish and crabs from property saw boats gigging flounder at night right by the docks.
This is our second year staying at this house right off the bay. We saw even more this year... dolphins and an otter in the bay behind us and prettier sunsets. The bird activity is fantastic... rails, herons, osprey and songbirds abound and the inside is clean as well as functional with plenty of space for six. The only issue we had at all is that the TV didn't play the movies loudly enough. The sound was tinny and hard to understand but we really didn't watch much TV so that didn't greatly affect us.WE would all highly recommend this place to anyone!
We had a great stay here. My family loved that the home was secluded but close to the action. We enjoyed the spectacular view. We stayed over the 4th of July the fireworks were amazing from the top deck. Overall everything was fine the AC is a little undersized for the home so one of the upstairs rooms was a little hot but a fan in the doorway worked wonders. We had no other issues with he home although it could uses a little TLC to really make it the property it should be. The dock needs replaced but the views from the three decks are fantastic. Lots of parking and close to orange beach! You can’t go wrong with this home!
What a great stay in Perdido Key! The house was clean, beautifully furnished and just absolutely lovely. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need including a new convection oven. The beds were very comfortable, and the linen provided was of good quality.. There is a kayak launch and a kayak available on property, and the bayou was super fun to explore!
We saw tons of wildlife including dolphins, osprey, river otters, and even a bald eagle. The sunsets from the deck overlooking the intercoastal waterway we're spectacular.
Lisa was a warm and gracious host and answered all of our questions quickly.
The houses also has an elevator which made it super convenient to bring in groceries and stay dry when it rained. There is a Publix grocery store just a couple miles away and the beach is only a five minute drive. Highly recommend this property for a great stay!
We loved staying at this house. It's extremely comfortable, the owner is quick with responses and helpful. The area is fantastic with tons of birds and close to everything we were interested in. We shopped each day at the fresh fish market under the bridge, visited the area state parks, watched dolphin at Innerarity Point Park down the road, rode many, many bike miles at nearby Gulf State Park in Alabama and spent lots of time at Johnson Beach less than ten minutes away. The only trouble we had at all was with the downstairs TV which was difficult for us, didn't allow Netflix and sounded crackly while playing movies. We also had trouble with the elevator which other people loved. These were small issues and we would definitely recommend a stay at this place!

This place has the most amazing sunsets!
Just when you think you've witnessed the most spectacular sunset the next one is even more beautiful! This house is in a very quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of Keys Bayou. Most mornings while drinking our coffee either on the dock or from the deck we were entertained by a flock of diving pelicans, some sea gulls, the resident nesting ospreys and occasionally joined by a blue heron or two. The house was very clean, nicely furnished and has one of the best equipped kitchens we've stayed in. We like to cook where ever we vacation and Lisa has a well stocked kitchen and bar! Location Location Location!! Convenient to grocery, beaches (Johnson's Beach was our favorite!), boat launch, best fish market (Perdido Bay Seafood....Make sure you try the red dip!), state parks, hiking, biking.....did I miss anything? We were a little too early for fishing and crabbing from the dock but had the weather and timing been different there is no doubt we would have been catching both. This was our first trip to this part of Florida and it was absolutely beautiful! If you like quiet on the water with beautiful sunset views you will LOVE Keys Bayou. As one of the neighbors said "best kept secret and a bit of paradise!"

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Beautiful view, but property is not kept up
The view was beautiful and because of that we would come here again. However, there were pet stains on the carpet in all the rooms, the dock had fallen in, there was blue tarp on part of the roof, the back door was warped and wouldn't lock. Weeds were growing up through all the garden beds. What a shame as the location and outfitting of the residence was very good.
We spent a week at this lovely home. My husband, two adult children, one teen and I spent an amazing week enjoying the views from the deck off the house, lounging on local beaches, and trying the local restaurants. The house was a peaceful location to rest after a busy day in the sun. We cooked nearly every night in the kitchen and enjoyed time playing cards with each other. We had great communication with the property owner and any issues were taken care of immediately.
The house was clean loved the elevator to take our luggage upstairs. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and the owner responded quickly to any question.
We had a great stay. The property manager was immediately responsive to help remedy any issues we had. Beautiful sunsets and great outdoor areas. Knowing this was located directly on the water, we brought a fan which significantly helped with mosquitoes. There was a Keurig in the kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. Mattresses in the downstairs and master were firm, as is our preference; I would recommend bringing your own pillow if a full, fluffy pillow is your preference. Instructions for using the elevator initially seemed somewhat confusing but made sense after working the elevator a few times. Key points are to push the buttons only once to call the elevator and/or when selecting floor - and remember to close all doors (gate and elevator chute door) being careful not to leave any doors opened for an extended period of time. We found the elevator proved very helpful and necessary, as the steps for this multilevel home can become quite tedious, especially with loading/unloading. Another bonus for this location being there are two restaurants quite close that were very good, and Butch’s Bistro and BBQ had excellent brisket and ribs, as well. Of course, it’s a quick trip to Publix, WalMart, the beach, and restaurants of Perdido Key and OB, as well.
Enjoyed our stay. Lisa was very helpful. Only negative was property description stated enjoy your coffee off of our private dock. The dock is gone. Just old walkway going into water.
The house is right on a quite street and super close to everything. Great view each day for the sunset on the bayou. House was exceptionally clean and the elevator is so nice when moving your stuff in and out. Lisa the owner is great to deal with.
We had a fantastic time at this property. If you love The beach, several great options are just a short drive away and parking is easy. If you love relaxing in the house, there are plenty of comfortable places to sit and read, watch a movie, or enjoy the view. Speaking of the view, there's nothing like it. Sunsets over the bayou are enough to make the trip here worthwhile. We even had a pod of dolphins visit us in the backyard.
Great property near good restaurants and we'll equipped for anything you might want to do. Our family had a wonderful stay under the Beautiful old oaks watching osprey, heron and even a couple of dolphins that came into the bayou. Just what we needed.
This place was absolutely amazing on every level. I could stare at the calming waters of the marsh for hours. The view from the house is due west, meaning that every single night we were treated to spectacular sunsets over the water. If you're a birder - stay here! If you're a kayaker - stay here! If you're coming with your family - stay here! We watched a daily show of Osprey, Herons, and Pelicans diving for fish.
The house was more than stocked with books, games, cooking supplies, and even a 2 person kayak. It was minutes from beaches AND state parks. We even took a day trip to Pensacola to bike the Blackwater Heritage Trail. There are so many options and activities here to suit every need. The owner was responsive to every need. My only advice is to really read instructions on operating the elevator before you get there. It is a bit finicky and takes some getting used to. This is by no means a deal breaker - the elevator was key to moving in and out for the week and was a huge resource.
All in all it was an excellent stay and I hope we get to come back next year!
