Lovely property with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
The location is great and Jessica is very responsive. The house is super clean, very comfortable for eight, and well appointed; the kitchen has everything you need and more, the Wi-Fi is strong, and there are plenty of water toys in the shed. Lake Eden is a nice, quiet lake, great for swimming and kayaking.
This was our third year booking, we love staying at the lake house.
We just returned from a stay at this lakefront cottage. It was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean, well stocked and the layout was perfect. We visited Jay Peak (30 minute drive) and Bolton (1 hour drive) to ski and the location was great for both. We also stopped in Stowe and at the Ben & Jerry's factory. We would definitely stay here again. The host, Jessica, was great at communicating. Thank you!
This is my second stay at this property and we absolutely love it! I had to cancel once in 2020 due to Covid and once in 2022 due to my son's wedding. It is a beautiful location and property and has all the comforts of home and then some, when you add in the kayaks and things available to do on or by the Lake. Jessica is so very easy to communicate with. We will be back in 2024 and follow on years! Lake Eden is a gem as I've always known as I grew up going there at least once a year as did my Mom and her siblings.
Wonderful stay at this lovely and clean home. 4 bedrooms with comfy beds all on one floor with nice bathroom. The 2nd bathroom is newly remodeled but be aware it is down a metal spiral staircase so not good for anyone with mobility issues. Overall a great property with a very responsive hostess.
Second time we stayed at this lovely, serene home. The views can't be beat, and we loved being down at the water where our duck friends would come visit. Our 7 year old twins loved jumping off the dock, kayaking with their cousins and catching lots of sunfish. The host Jessica keeps a well-stocked home and was in touch frequently during our trip. We hope to come back sooner than later.
This is such a great rental. Our host thought of everything to make the stay care free. The kitchen and lake shed are both well equipped and the dock on the lake makes for spectacular swimming and kayaking. Parking is much improved from last year. Great work! We are eager to return.!
Beautiful spot, great host. House was clean and stocked with all the basic needs. Cozy with lots of room for the whole family ☺️
Lake Eden is very scenic!
Brought my 80+ year old dad and uncle back to their childhood home of Vermont. The lake house was perfect for us and we’ll stocked. We really appreciated access to the shed with fishing poles, kayaks and row boat. Watching the loons on the lake we’re an added bonus.
We had such a nice week in this house. Our 7 year old twins especially loved all the games and toys that were provided, but their all-time favorite activity was jumping off the dock in to the water. We got to sit and relax lakeside watching the ducks and loons, and sat upstairs on the deck enjoying the views and the hummingbirds. Jessica thought of so many details too...cleaning supplies, towels, books, but more importantly, she was so responsive to any questions or concerns we had.
It was a perfect getaway, and we hope to return soon!
We loved the deck on the pond, the comfortable living room and Jessica was a lovely and attentive host. This place has lots of amenities for kids and adults - many types of boats, for example. Parking is complicated but once we understood the rules, we could deal with it. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing week on a clean, beautiful lake!
Our group consisted of 4 adults and 1 3 year old. We all enjoyed the house.--it was very comfortable. Yes there are a lot of steps down to the lake, but we all managed to do them without a problem several times a day--even the 3year old (holding hands with someone) We all enjoyed the fire pit each evening down by the lake. Jessica responded right away whenever we had a question.
The property manager responds to inquire and question very quick before and during the stay. The house is on a lake with great view and a lot of board games and foosball table in house keep everyone entertained.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have any children with us but is ideal for any family traveling with kids, as the homeowners have furnished the house with children in mind. We were able to relax without any worries and only had to purchase groceries for the week.
Our family of 8 stayed here for a long weekend in early fall. We hadn't done much of anything all summer due to COVID restrictions so this was a welcomed getaway right near home that did not disappoint! The house was very clean and had plenty of space. Jessica was very responsive when needed. We had a great time!
This is a delightful place to stay on a lake! The house is clean, in good repair and updated, so it is comfortable but still has a casual, campy feel. There was plenty of room for 6 adults, a 2-year old and day-time visitors. We didn't even use the basement space. Set on a hill, the house and deck feel like they are in the treetops and are very private, despite neighboring camps. The waterfront is lovely and the swimming is really nice - no weeds and no muck! The stairs back up from the beach were a bit of a deterrent from being at the water a lot, but we really enjoyed spending time on the deck and looking out at the water views. There was so much provided, which made it really easy to be there (and less to pack!) - everything we needed for a young child, lots of boats and beach gear, plenty of chairs (inside and out), fans, and all our linens. Jessica was easy to communicate with and did a lovely job providing thoughtful touches here and there. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing, lakefront experience, complete with loons, misty mornings and star-filled evenings.
