Villa Orked 1, an Oasis in bustling Jalan Mertanadi
Stay with us to experience hospitality at it’s best. Villa Orked 1 lets you experience traditional living with extensive modern amenities. Newly built in November 2018, our two bedroom white washed Joglo gives you a stylish space to come home to after enjoying what Bali has to offer. Villa Orked 1 is within walking distance to cafes and restaurants such as the iconic Gusto Gelato and Naughty Nuris, supermarket, spas, foreign exchange and convenience stores.
Villa Orked 1 is one of two interconnecting villas of different design and feel. Our Joglo villa is made of teak wood and is based on a traditional building only reserved for palaces (keraton), official residences and nobles. Joglo houses are proven for hundred of years to be designed and built as earthquake resistance buildings based on Javanese ancient building systems.
While the house itself is traditionally inspired, designed and crafted by local craftsmen, all amenities are modern and up to date.

My love affair with Bali started when I first visited 30 years ago. I was then newly married and the love affair continued after 5 children, a daughter in law and 2 grandchildren later. Villa Orked 1 and 2 is named after my first grand daughter, Orked Zahra who loves Bali as much as I do.

What makes this property unique
The villas are located in a newly developed area of Seminyak. It's a bustling area but my property is situated in a quiet lane which gives you privacy but at the same time easy access to shops, restaurants, money exchange and convenience stores.
