Quiet suite nestled in the Elk River valley of the Rocky Mountains

Great location in a walk out downstairs suite for a family vacation or friend getaway. We are located in the Elk Valley only an 8 minute drive from the popular Rocky Mountain town of Fernie B.C. , and 15 minutes to world known Fernie Alpine Resort.
If you love fly fishing, the Elk River is only a 5 minute walk from the property. There are many hiking and biking trails also accessible from your doorstep.
The property is located on 1/2 an acre of nicely landscaped features with many activities to enjoy, from a BBQ and glass of wine on the patio, or game of badminton or bocce, or just a relaxing marshmallow roast over a cozy bonfire!
There is plenty of room indoors to spend time with your family and friends with a game of pool, watching a movie on the 50" flatscreen or maybe just a fun board game in front of the cozy gas fireplace.
Feel free to wander around the yard and sample some fresh berries or fruit from the many trees and gardens on the property.

Wonderful, large basement suite

Fantastic location just outside of Fernie. So clean and large and quiet with beautiful view of mountains from the yard. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and Cozy; Great Location!

This property was perfect for our family of 5. It was a short distance away from where we were going each day. The hosts were informative, helpful, and super responsive. We took advantage of the yard games, the provided firewood, and the beautiful yard (even some fresh berries!) There was a welcome basket for us too! We would definitely recommend this vacation rental and would stay here again if we are in the area!

Wonderful!

Property and location were amazing. Just like the listing said and so comfortable for my husband, myself and out two dogs. Great kitchen and loved the gas fireplace for the cool evening that we stayed in and watched Netflix. Highly recommend!

Spacious pet-friendly rental

This was our second stay at this property in Hosmer about 10 minutes from Fernie. It is reasonably convenient to the ski hill - about a 20 minute drive. We love the bright, nicely decorated and spacious layout. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and pet-friendly - all the things we look for in a vacation rental!

Fantastic condo

Beautiful and cozy place close from Fernie. My only con, one bed had a really firm mattress. I was ok to sleep on it but might not be suitable for everyone.

Great place!!

Nice quiet place to stay. Very nice atmosphere and a nice location. Had my sprinter van with trailer. Plenty of parking and lots of room to relax.

So Lovely!

What a great little spot! Just a few mins outside Fernie and a quick drive to the ski hill, this little spot was perfect for our 6 person family. Spacious, clean, little extras made it feel like home for a few nights. Great communication with the owners made the stay seamless. Would highly recommend for a little family getaway spot.

Spacious home in small community near Fernie

The home was bright, spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The small pool table inside was a unique feature! It was a bonus to have access to a large yard to relax in or play games. We would definitely visit again in the summer.

Great space

Basement suit rental, very clean, 10 minutes out of Fernie. Bedrooms are geared maybe towards a family vs two couples being there was a queen, twin over double bunk and second twin but it worked for us and was reasonably priced. Kitchen has everything needed to cook meals including coffee maker, coffee mate/sugar and outdoor bbq. Shampoo/conditioner and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The yard is beautiful with ample chairs to enjoy the mountain scenery. Unit was very clean. I'd book here again.

Amazing Escape from Reality!

Our stay at Nora's property was amazing! The check-in and check-out process was smooth, everything was exactly as described, and we had the best week away! The welcome basket was adorable, and our doggo found the treat left out immediately :) Nora was always quick to reply, and this definitely felt like a home away from home - already planning our next trip! I am a true local having grown up in the Elk Valley and have lived here for over 40 years. So I can probably help you with any advice of the area that you might be interested in to make your stay as memorable as possible. I love enjoying all outdoor activities which the area has no shortage to offer. I bought this quiet property to be close to the elk river and have the amazing view of the surrounding mountains. I enjoy being able to share this with guests so they are able to enjoy a vacation in a place that I hope they also find as peaceful and beautiful as I do.
I also love to travel so I try to offer accommodations that would be what I would look for with a reasonable price and all the amenities and cleanliness of a comfortable home. I wish all my guests a wonderful stay!
