This magnificently located, absolute beachfront, stunning architecturally designed beach "shack", truly defines barefoot luxury. From beautiful fresh whites, exposed framework and lime washed floorboards, with glass louvered windows, bi-folds and French doors leading out to its rustic timber decks, Barefoot Beach House will take you back in time, whilst providing all of the luxuries and modern touches you expect from today's life.

With the internal dining bench opening through bi-folds to a mirror imaged external bar bench, the house provides the perfect casual dining setting. It's interconnecting decks lead down to the gourmet BBQ area framed by timber sleepers and out to over 500sqm of lush level lawn. Your own private timber steps take you directly down to the magnificent white sands and gentle waters of Callala Beach.

Watch the kids on the beach from the house laze the day away over a long lunch and pull up a chair beachside at sunset, but most of all, kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes throughout your stay.

With its open plan living & kitchen, master bedroom with expansive water views and second twin bedroom, it is the prefect getaway for a small family or a couple seeking the ultimate in both relaxation and style.

And in winter, after a beautiful long stroll along the beach, enjoy lunch on the deck and then unwind with your favourite DVD, whilst warming to the glow of the built in gas fireplace.

Barefoot now offers free wifi. please note this is a complimentary extra and service is not guaranteed especially during peak usage times. We will attempt to troubleshoot where possible but cannot be held accountable for disrupted service or drop outs.

As there is no charge for this service we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable.

You can bring your well behaved small dog/cat if you notify us prior to your stay. We understand dogs are part of your family. We have house rules for guests bringing pets to the property to ensure the comforts of all our guests and we request that you respect these rules.

There is wildlife around the property (rabbits and kangaroos) so please do not leave your pets inside the property unattended. Do not allow pets on bedding or furniture, Extra charges will apply.

We have outdoor cushions for your outdoor use and you can find them located on the floor next to the dining chairs and there are also outdoor cushions for the outdoor dining chairs located in the top kitchen cupboard, please return them to their original location after use. All other cushions in the house are strictly for indoor use only.

Absolute water front. Walk down the timber stairs to the white sands and pristine waters of Callala Beach. Many local attractions including day trips to Kangaroo Valley and Berry. Only a short 2/12 hours drive south of Sydney. Close to local country club with golf course, bistro dining and bowls. Incredible beach stay
My wife and I (and our two dogs) have had an incredible long weekend break at Barefoot Callala Beach. The home is perfect with high quality amenities throughout and incredible view and right on Callala Beach. The booking agents (Property One) are superb, they made the stay a pleasure and were immediately responsive to any requests. I high recommend this property if you are after a perfect beach getaway!!

Lovely cottage
Great place, well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Its a small place so great for our family of 4 with young kids. Lovely position, quiet and absolute beachfront.

Breathtaking beachfront house
We have stayed in many holiday houses in Callala Beach, including beachfront properties, and this is by far our favourite place to stay. The view from the living room always takes my breathe away. First time staying with toddlers, and the property was a safe place for them to run around and explore. You can't see in the photos, but there is a gate that prevents toddlers from getting to the beach - very handy!

We used to come to callala when I was little. Now I had the chance to bring my girls down for a week. The location is great, clean little house, cosy, comfortable right at the beach. Great kitchen to cook in. Will return one day when I save up again!

Absolutely beautiful
The most beautiful property in a even more beautiful location . With the ever changing weather we always found a spot throughout the house that was protected and still had a view . Wonderful Stay
This was the perfect end to our Australian trip. A quite beautiful home very comfortable with lots of personal and stylish touches. A window that opens fully to allow for social relaxed dining , immaculate clean facilities , a great bbq , decking and substancial garden to relax in and of course the best location ever, right on a deserted stunning beach! This was as good as it gets !!

Location Location!
Oh man, where do I start ?! Being welcomed with stunning views and a complimentry bottle of bubbly was such a fantastic way to start our stay.Honestly we felt like this property was our home away from home ! Not only is the location so ridiculously ideal, the home itself was neat , cosy and accommodated all our needs ! Beds were so comfortable, we had a fun range of games, movies and books to use whilst on our stay. It was the most perfect home for my family and we can’t recommend this property enough. More than we could have hoped for ...
On the recommendation of a friend, we stayed at Barefoot and were thoroughly surprised by it's location and spotless, quirky house. This is a great get away home away from home where everything we needed was supplied. We were blessed with some great weather too, which made the experience a truly relaxing and serene stay. We didn't do a lot of driving, but chose to chill-out and do numerous beach walks. The water in the bay was glass like in the am and you could really recharge. The house, although small was comfortable and immaculately clean. We would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return again soon, Thanks for a much needed escape from city grind :)

Great holiday ... 10/10!!
Thank you Barefoot. My wife and I stayed in February and we have such pleasant memories to take away. The location and house are picture perfect. The house was very well equipped and catered for, and it is very clean. When you open the sliding doors/windows in the living room, he outside becomes one space with the interior and the layout makes it an ideal retreat. You feel so private, and it is a great place to chill and unwind listening the sound of the waves. The morning and evening walks on the beach were fantastic as it is uncrowded with few holiday makers and locals. The sand is so clean and white and the sound of the waves lapping the shore are very relaxing. We also did some day trips around the area to Berry and Milton, and both have a great holiday feel. It’s very hard to fault anything about the stay and yes, we will return, hopefully sooner rather than later … can’t wait … 10/10!! Philip

Best holiday ever
Our family of 4+ dog stayed for a week in early January. The location is absolute beachfront. What is barely advertised is the huge front yard and trampoline, which was great for soccer and endless jumping. We all had the best holiday ever. We saw Dolphins morning and night both days, abundant wild life, hermit crabs in the sand,a local family of rabbits on the property pelicans and lizard. The linen and beds are beautiful and the fans are more than adequate due to the cross ocean breeze. We will be back shortly- we've vowed to return for an extEnded weekend before this summer is up. Just book it!!

Disappointing
"Talley's", which is in the process of changing its name to "Barefoot at Callala Beach" is, like all of the numerous properties on that side of Quay Road, certainly in a good location on Callala beach. The beach house is also in good condition, as you would expect for an expensive property, but it is not perfect. Aspects of the furnishings are looking a little tired, it has a tiny bath, the Nespresso machine didn't work and it was constantly filled with a variety of flying and crawling insects. We had booked a 3 night stay in November 2016 but early on the second morning, without warning, the owners' power company disconnected the power so there was no light, hot water or cooking facilities, and endless phone calls, hanging around and hassle trying to have this resolved ensued. Not exactly the idyllic, chilled out beachside experience that was advertised. The "emergency number" for the agents who manage the property - Property One - was that of a person who, it transpired, was on her day off. Despite assurances that the power would be reconnected between 2 and 5 pm that day, it wasn't and the agents having offered to move us to the property next door (even though it was clearly occupied) then informed us that they had no alternative accommodation available. Our holiday therefore had to be cut short, we had to return to Sydney at the last minute and no written apology or offer of compensation for the hassle, inconvenience and truncated holiday we suffered was forthcoming (part of the cost of the already discounted third night which we didn't even have was refunded), which was extremely disappointing. After we demanded that this be addressed "a free 3rd night in the shoulder period" was offered (i.e. requiring that we first pay for the 2 much more expensive preceding nights) nights. This of course is not compensation for the inconvenience we suffered and unfortunately our experience of Talley's/Barefoot at Callala Beach ended up being so disappointing and has left us with such a negative impression that we have no desire to return.

A Hidden Gem in Jervis Bay
My wife and I (with our little dog) had the immense pleasure of staying 3 days at your lovely house on Callala Beach. We needed to have a break away from grind of Sydney life and it provided everything we wanted to recharge. From the time we parked in the driveway, we could hear the lapping of waves on the beach and the house is pristine, yet secluded. The house feels like a ‘home away from home’, it had all the modern conveniences we needed and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Many little extras (including Kit Kats, nespresso capsules, beverages mixes, tea bags and dog shampoo!!) made these few days very special. It took only minutes to get soaked up into a relaxing frame of mind and even before we had unpacked we were walking our ‘baby’ on the beach, and saw a pod of dolphins … wow! We were impressed with the quality of toiletries, linen and homeliness. There are two large gardens at the front and back of house so plenty of room for kids and dogs to run around. We went touring the area and found ourselves in Berry and a few of the wineries mentioned in the ‘Guest Folder’. There is also a selection of brochures about local attractions available in the house and we discovered some hidden gems in this part of the world. Overall a truly relaxing holiday and we will be back. Thanks so much, B. and L.

Beachfront haven!
Very cute little cottage for a couple. You can hear the waves crash from your living room & bedroom. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen fully stocked, we cooked up a storm and didn't feel the need to eat out. Our pup loved the garden and beach and had it not been so cold the BBQ area would have been great. One thing is that there is no proper dining table if it is cold and you will not want to open the bar/ table windows in the winter.

Pure Beach Front bliss
We are a family consisting of 2 adults, one child and a small dog. The house was cosy and filled with all requirements needed for our weekend away. Top appliances and the beds were extremley comfortable. The locaton was great...a short stroll down the path and you were at the beach. Listening to the waves all day & night was relaxing and we look forward to coming back.

Cute beach shack
Perfect position. Comfortable beds. Not so comfy lounges but your not here to sit on lounges when the beach is calling! Great for a small family and nice and easy with towels, linen, dishwasher liquid and glad wrap provided. Has a microwave but no microwave proof dishes for heating stuff. Only two wine glasses so bring glasses if your having visitors. Also would have been nice if sugar and tea was available. Had assumed would have been there with the coffee pods. Great location. Big TV. Plenty of outdoor space. Will be back for sure.

Talley's is a little slice of heaven. Callala is such a gorgeous beach, we had a very relaxing time in this perfect beach house. Everything provided for a great weekend away, gorgeous view, wonderful house, couldn't fault it. Waiting for the next visit already.

Beautiful weekender!
We just spent the most idyllic weekend at Talley's beach house. You couldn't find a more relaxing house or location. The storms had just swept through the Shoalhaven area, so the beach and water were a little dirty, but we still enjoyed strolls along the beach, and laying around on the decks of the house, enjoying the sun and silence (except for the sound of the waves). And there's nothing nicer than turning on the fire after dark, and cosying up in this ultimate beach "shack". The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the bed and linen top quality, and our dog enjoyed herself in the huge yard. We will definitely be going back...soon!

Perfect location
Amazing place and location is on point. The house was clean and tidy on arrival, easy check in and check out. It was super nice and quiet as well. I don't think id like this place in summer as the houses are very close to each other. In winter it was just perfect and peaceful. Amazing sunrises.
