About the home

“Redwood Oasis” is a delightful, two-storey townhouse in a gated complex in central Cowes, a leisurely stroll away from the many supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants of the lively township. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area (with TV, DVD player and gas log fire), leading to the rear courtyard, Bedroom 1 featuring an ensuite (with shower and toilet), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer), plus a separate Toilet.

Upstairs are Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath, shower & double vanity), a separate Toilet and the second Living area (with TV and DVD player).

Outdoor Areas

There is an enclosed, north-facing courtyard (with outdoor setting for 6 people). This home is one of three townhouses that share the solar-heated pool and an undercover BBQ area. There is parking for 2 cars in the double Garage and additional street parking outside of the complex.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a De'Longhi Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, and electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home contains reverse cycle split system units in both living areas, as well as a gas log fire in the main living area.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 7 guests:

Bedroom 1 (downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): One set of Tri-bunks

Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
