Imagine sitting back listening to the waves and taking in the 180 degree ocean views. Just 2 hours from Sydney and 1 hour from Newcastle, this fantastic home is right on the rocky waters edge in the quiet coastal town of Fisherman's Bay and just minutes from Anna Bay which boasts the best surfing beaches that Port Stephens has to offer.

Watch the whales and dolphins from the verandah and enjoy superb sunsets. There is so much to do: walk through the National Park to secluded beaches, spear fish and snorkel off the rocks in front of the house, surf on nearby Birubi beach, swim with the kids at the local beach (5 minutes walk), or launch your boat from the small boat ramp at the nearby beach (200 meters).

Comfortably sleeping 8, the house has ducted air conditioning upstairs where the three bedrooms are located, (the Master has ocean views and ensuite), 2 living areas with split system air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven, Nespresso coffee machine, laundry with washer and dryer, yard (not fenced), spa bath in the main bathroom, gas BBQ and a double remote control garage.

Amazing location, bordering the Pacific Ocean. Close to the beautiful Birubi Beach. Funcional, well-equipped, spacious property. Most comfortable bed in our travels!

Stunning Location

Simply stunning location and a beautiful view - just loved sitting outside and watching the waves roll in. Great for families with kids in primary school and beyond. Had a few issues with the cleanliness of the place to begin with, but the agent was helpful and I acknowledge this was the cleaners responsibility and not the owners/ agents fault. They had not know about the repairs that needed fixing, but took on my feedback and were very helpful. Would I book again - yes, a very relaxing holiday and a super place to have a holiday.

Relaxing stay

We really enjoyed the house, it's a great place to relax. They layout made it easy to enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equipped. The only improvement would be if there was a speaker or stereo to connect to and WIFI.

Refreshing getaway

My family and I had a lovely ocean stay in July. It was great to escape the cold temperatures where we live and enjoy sunshine, bike rides, sunsets and sand dunes! The location is perfect and we walked down to the rocks everyday, went for bike rides from the property and it's a short drive to places to kayak. The property was cleaned well, air con was nice in evenings and kitchen very well equipped including Nespresso machine.

perfect getaway

Lovely home, exquisitely decorated, well equipped and plenty of space to spread around. Fantastic ocean views, we say plenty of whales pass by during the day and spent our night stargazing from the main bedroom! Location is perfect to get away from the crowds while still close to the beach and town. You do need to drive to get anywhere beyond the local park though! Would love to come back for a longer stay next time.

AMAZING VIEWS!

This is a beautiful property. The views are absolutely stunning. We loved sitting out the back listening to the ocean and watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s a Delonghi coffee machine, so take pods to fit. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning was great for the upstairs area. One Mile beach is great for swimming as it’s patrolled and it’s definently worth taking a 4wd sand dune tour, it was fantastic. Great spot for a family holiday where you can truly unplug from city life.

Top holiday house

A charming, tastefully decorated, well-equipped holiday house with stunning vistas. (We thought it actually looked better than in the photos!) It's located in a quiet area with some lovely walking tracks, including one to stunning Birubi Beach. We're definitely coming back!

Incredible View

Wow, the views are stunning. This is our 3rd stay and as usual has been an incredible experience whale watching. We stayed 9 days and saw hundreds of whales, dolphins and penguins too. Very clean and functional. You do however, need to clean the windows every few days to keep a pristine view. This is a very small price to pay for the benefit though. The salt spray is unavoidable as the property is waterfront... Can't wait till next year.

Perfect for winter get-a-way

Perfect house for a perfect relaxing winter get-a-way. We watched the majestic humpback whales migrate up the coast from our lounge room . We literally saw over a 100 whales in our week at this beautiful home in this beautiful part of the world. We will return ASAP

This Place has everything!

Amazing Duplex, views & ambiance. The kitchen and dinning room floor were very dirty, had to clean the windows to see the view. However everything else was very clean, beds very comfortable. This place has everything you need, including the most gorgeous beach just 1 minute walk away. The price is absolutely value for money, however the scheduled power outage on one of the days for 6.5 hours did sour the stay. If possible would love to come back.

Breathtaking views

Breathtaking views from almost every window in the home. The view changes as the tide goes in and out from the rocks so the view never gets tired. It is a 5min walk with little kids to the closest sandy beach, which is calm with no waves to dunk the kids and shady grassy spots to sit. It is small sp uou can let the kids roam the rock pools without losing sight of them. It is a 10m drive to the closest beaches with waves. The house is amazing; everything you could need without being cluttered. The house was very clean & is set up to suit extended families with 2 seperate lounge areas there is lots of room to get away or spread out. There are plenty of sofas and chairs for dining indoors & outdoors. The beds are very comfortable quality mattresses & with the sound of the waves crashing outside to send you to sleep; our stay couldnt have been better.

Excellent location

As awesone as the view is at this property...it could do with some updating of appliances and such and could use some tlc...cleanliness was also an issue as the floors were dirty and the bathrooms, especially the main where the spa is located was not cleaned to standard considering the money you pay for 2 nights.

perfect location

This was our fourth stay here as it is very well priced in an excellent location with beautiful views! The only thing that needs to change is the double bed in the main bedroom into a queen with a quality mattress I beg you please!
