Cozy and peaceful

Loved the charm and cleanliness of the house. It had everything my friend and I needed to have a worry free vacation. Also loved the location of the house- it was central to everything. A two- five minute walk or a short walk could get you anywhere you needed/ wanted to go. My dog loved the yard and taking walks along the beach. The hosts were also very nice and informative- Will definitely be staying there again!

Relaxing Vacation

Our family had the best beach week here in Oak Island. The house was perfect for the 4 of us, our 10 and 14 year olds plus our corgi pup! Loved the backyard and front porch. It was an easy walk or drive to the beach. Sunsets and sunrises right around the corner at the scenic overlook. We hope to be back again!

Oak Island Get Away

We loved this cute, cozy vacation home! This home was extremely clean and provided everything you need along with a great screened in back porch, great for relaxing. The owners were very nice to work with and gave us excellent customer service. We highly recommend their lovely home and plan on rented again in the future! This is the second time I have used Evolve to locate a home and again they did not disappoint, it was perfect and owners made the process super easy. Thank you.

Everything was great. Just plan to bring soap/shampoo and dish towels. Nice backyard and well equiped kitchen (except for mentioned dish towels). Clean and bright inside.

Exactly as described/pictured! Great value

We rented this home for a short family trip: I feel like it packed a ton of value and all had a great time! The kitchen appliances are recent and work great, plus it’s decently equipped. If you like to cook on vacay, you’ll be set. The fenced in backyard + screened porch are great. The pictures and descriptions are accurate for furnishings and expectations. It IS walkable to the beach, we did it multiple times however it could be tough for those with mobility challenges. There are tons of places to park near the shore in Oak Island though; it was my first time at this particular beach. Thank you!

Oak Island Vacation

House is in a perfect location with easy access to the ocean and inter-coastal waterway. Best feature is the screened in back porch and the fenced in yard. We would have spent a lot more time enjoying it except that house construction was going on right behind us which really affected us being able to relax, just an unfortunate situation. House fulfilled our desires and expectations.

Family Fun at OKI

We planned this trip because we’d not had a week-long beach vacay in several years. This was the perfect spot for a fun and relaxing vacation! The house is very clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog to play while we hung out on the beautiful screened in porch. The hosts answered any questions that we had promptly, as well. This home will be a first choice for us when we go back to Oak Island. It was everything that we were looking for!

Perfect location, scenic walk to beach, fenced in backyard

Layout of house was perfect. Enjoyed sitting on back porch watching the bassets lounge and play in the fenced in backyard where they had plenty of room. Quiet and safe area. Scenic walk to the beach was ideal. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need. Gas grill was a plus. The owner communicated promptly with information of area including her contact. Due to a family emergency, I had to contact the owner. I could not have asked for a more gracious host. We will definitely be back and stay at this location again.

Perfect week.

Comfortable and thoughtfully furnished house. The house was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. We found the beds to be comfortable, the shower to be hot and all appliances to be in good shape and in good working order. We appreciated the screened porch and fenced in yard. It was a great spot first thing in the morning and again in the evening to relax with coffee or a cool drink. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is right on East Oak Island Drive so the road noise can be bad. It’s an easy drive to restaurants and shopping and to the Beach. It’s obvious that this house has been loved and well maintained by the owners. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Cute but old

The cottage is adorable and the screened in back porch is cute and enjoyable. I really do not like writing anything disparaging but the house and furniture is extremely old and outdated and when I was looking for an outlet discovered a ton of hair and filth that has obviously not been cleaned in a long time right by the bed. I also woke up very congested and saw the air filters needed replaced. The showers were extremely slippery and a bit dangerous, very low shower and toilet - for reference I am only 5’3. The couch was also so low and uncomfortable. It’s a very cute cottage but could definitely use some updating/new furniture and cleaning.

Great relaxing week.

House is comfortable and nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable with good linens. Appliances I. The kitchen are in good working condition. The gem of this place is the screened back porch and fenced in yard. We bird and squirrel watched and our 2 dogs enjoyed the freedom. The only downside is the busy road out front. But that can’t be helped. We would stay again when visiting I. The area.

Well appointed Beach Home

We loved our week in this comfortable and beautifully decorated home. Great kitchen and awesome screened back porch for us and major fenced back yard for our dog added to our week here. Everything was clean and well stocked for us, easy checking and checkout. Note this house is on the Main Street, and it may be a challenge to get out of the driveway on busy weekends. Traffic noise is minimal as House is set back from road. As mentioned in listing, no cable, but Roku tv has plenty with Netflix for rainy days. Loved the beachy cool colors of all rooms and linens.
