3 minute walk to beach or sit on the deck and listen to the waves.

This is a much loved and regularly used family Bach in Tairua, so it’s well set up for a small family or three couples.

Large doors open onto expansive front and back deck, creating loads of places to hang out with friends or have quiet time. A third deck at the top of the garden gives you views of the islands. The Bach can sleep 6; but there is room for a tent or mattress downstairs that will take another two adults or a few children.

The large garage has a kayak and paddle board, boogie boards and some times a bike or two that can be used. There are also outdoor sofas and chairs to chill on, and an outdoor fire for use in the colder months of the year.

The downstairs bedroom is set up for those who want to be with the family or friends, but like some private time, it has a sofa, bathroom and kettle for tea and coffee. Plus outside hammock for a lazy mid day sleep.

The Bach may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, who need walking sticks or wheel chair, as there is a driveway and stairs to navigate.

We also have set the place for our needs. Eg. We have deliberately chosen not to have a t.v. We encourage people to review the list and information before booking.

For evenings, there are board games, music, sitting on the deck with friends, and internet for Netflix etc.
