Great home with everything we needed for the month. We enjoyed our time on the back patio enjoying the view of the Catalina Mountain. Also some fun wildlife. Kevin was a great host.
You will love this property with its beautiful natural setting, its mountain views, and it's so-easy-to-use interiors. It's very well designed and the owners couldn't be more helpful. We will DEFinitely be back!
We have stayed at this Casita several times in January-February. The place is very comfortable, feels like home. We enjoy the solitude of the location and the hiking and biking in the Oro Valley area. We will be back again!
The casita is very comfortable and private. The owner makes regular updates to the furnishings and contents. Close to bike trails and the many hiking trails in the Oro Valley and Tucson area. Feels much like home.
A lovely getaway in the Tucson desert, this perfect house for 2 was really charming. Everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable furniture, a comfy king bed, and front and back patios, great for reading or relaxing. We loved our stay. Kevin was great making sure if we needed him he'd be there to answer questions, adjust thermostats, etc.
Limited pots/pans & no non-stick, hindered our convenience.
Very good overall, although including better cooking utensils would have helped. Also erecting a covered area/ shaded spot for the car rather than sit in direct sun would have been a plus.
This Casita is private and in a rural neighborhood but close to everything. It is situated in a beautiful desert environment. The owner is helpful if you have any questions.
Comfortable, quiet casita with great mountain views located away from busy neighborhoods. Has everything one needs to make you feel at home. Abundance of hiking and biking trails in area. Close to shopping and restaurants. Owner is very helpful and responds promptly to any questions/problems.
We enjoyed our second stay and plan to return. This casita is well built, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There’s a wonderful patio to enjoy the mountain views and for hanging out. We love the privacy, silence and desert beauty of this property. Kevin is a great responsive host.
Very inviting, excellent view of the mountains, and the casita has all you need for a pleasant stay. It is a great winter escape. Kevin is very friendly, helpful and responds promptly to questions or needs. Great area for hiking and biking. Looking forward to returning next year!
Great casita in the desert! Hope we can stay again next year

Tranquil casita in a natural setting
We enjoyed our six week stay here and already booked for next year. Kevin is an excellent host. The casita is well located and up to date in every way. It’s located on a tranquil property with desert nature and views of the mountains on every side. The location is ideal being both private and within minutes of Oro Valley shopping and recreation.

Relaxing and secluded winter retreat with beautiful views
Enjoyed our escape from winter at this comfortable casita. Plenty of room for two people. Loved relaxing on the patio surrounded by desert greenery with a great view of the Catalinas. Had everything we needed for our stay. Owner is very helpful and responded to requests promptly. As mentioned in previous reviews, the casita is at the end of an unpaved road and will be muddy after rain. Lots of great hiking and biking within 30 minute drive. Grocery, shopping, and restaurants within 5 miles. Very quiet and removed from traffic.

Gem in the Desert
We stayed on the property while house-hunting in the Oro Valley area. Cozy house with all the amenities. It provided us needed relaxation every day. While the owner lived on the surrounding property, we never felt intruded upon. The only down side was the dirt road to the property from the nearest paved street. We arrived during a wet spell and the road was slick and washed out in areas. And while the property was listed as dog-friendly, read the fine print because there is a weight limit on what you can have and there is no fencing on the property. We boarded our Lab because of those restrictions. But it was overall a great place to stay and we recommend it highly.

True Tucson desert hideaway.
If you want to experience the essence Arizona desert plants and animals, plus an amazing view of the Catalina Mountains to the east, total peace and quiet and be in beautifully designed and built adobe casita, this is the place. The walls are super insulated for comfort in the heat and infloor radiant heating keeps it cozy in the winter. Even though you are at the end of a short dirt road and feel like you are in the middle of a park, there is a Costco within 15 minutes and the center of town is not much further. The bed is comfy, bathroom has a tub with shower, walk in closet, big kitchen open to the living room and dining area, and windows in the right places for inviting the outside in. Though you would never know it, the owners live next door and are very generous about getting you settled in and sharing their knowledge of the house and the area. We liked the house so well that I measured all the rooms to remind ourselves of how much space you really need to feel absolutely comfortable if we ever decide to build a small house.

Great Rental!
We relocated to Arizona and stayed here while house hunting. This rental is surrounded by beautiful natural desert landscape with lots of wildlife to see but yet only 5 minutes from shopping centers and restaurants. The homeowner was extremely nice and very helpful if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful, Charming, Wildlife Abound
We spent nearly two months over the spring working in the local area. The cottage provided a wonderful refuge at the end of the day. The area is quiet and peaceful but with easy access to local amenities as well as a short drive to Tucson. The hosts are friendly and responsive and respected our privacy. Highly recommended for both short and long trip!

This was a nice house and a nice stay.
We needed a place to stay between houses and this house was perfect. It's a very quiet location with lots of wildlife and beautiful views both west and east. Not so wonderful TV channel choices but adequate for a month. The AC worked great which is important in August.

The heating/cooling system keeps this house at a consistantly comfortable temperature. The host/owner is thoughtful, attentive and responsive. We felt totally at home.
