Fabulous resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Margaritaville Orlando many times and never been disappointed. The cottages are quiet, roomy and close to everything. The private pools are small, but great for our needs. We just love the property. The new valet at the main hotel are not as wonderful as the old ones were. Very inconsiderate of handicapped guests. Having to pay $22 to park for 1 hour and go inside to shop or go to Euphoria bar is a sin. If I could use a shuttle for free and walk, I would!

Great Location, But Nothing Special

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Margaritaville cottages previously and had an amazing experience. This year, our normal cottage rental was already booked so we decided to book this one instead. It was the perfect location for us, but otherwise nothing special. There were a few missing amenities listed such as the margarita machine that all cottages are supposed to have. The quality of paper products supplied were subpar at best and the linens were very cheap. We also had issues with the neighbor and had to call security due to excessive noise at 1am! Again, it was a convenient and nice enough stay but just didn’t meet or exceed our expectations that we are used to with a margaritaville cottage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with 8043 Surf St. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The showers had extrene water pressure. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Regarding the rental company, i called several times to ask for confirmation email with paid receipt. Pool was heated, on request, but still chilly. Hot tub heats up nicely and was greatly enjoyed. We enjoyed resort restaurant Euphoria Fish House and had a blast renting a quadricycle. The nearby Sunset Walk provided a fun night out with an amazing dinner/drinks at Estefan's. I would highly recommend renting a villa.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house; its location within Margaritaville was great! The house had all the necessities and plenty of space for everyone. We loved having our own pool, and the view of the lake was very relaxing. Many memories were made during the four nights we were there. There were a few things that could have been improved. The towels were very thin, and there needed to be more for six people. We were told we could wash them, but there was only enough laundry powder for one load. We only found the towels for the pool well into our second day. Rugs would help with muffling sounds in the bedrooms and living rooms. You could hear every step upstairs. For larger groups like ours, having more trash bags and dish pods would be nice.

There was definitely things missing that would have made it a more functional:- basic kitchen items eg baking trays, cheese grater, tea towel- surface space. The bedrooms had serious lack of furniture, only one bed side table and a tiny wardrobe with no hangers.- Pillows were way too stiff and we had to buy others after neck issues- No bug net outside limiting eating outdoors in the evening- no soft lighting in the living room- cottage caters 8 people yet tables are only for 4 peopleWe did also have to buy a lot of things not realizing it was a self sustaining cottage (maybe I missed that info when booking)

Great week with family with a few issues

Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great week at Margaritaville and enjoyed our Cottage. A few items I would criticize or make suggestions...1. I called a couple weeks before our arrival and again the morning of to request early check in. Our flight arrived at 10:30 and we got to the resort around noon. We were told our cottage was not ready. We waited in the lobby checking in at the desk every so often and our cottage wasn’t ready until exactly 4 pm. This was strange that at 3:55 it wasn’t ready but at 4 it was? Waiting this long with a 1 year old was difficult. I realize check in isn’t until 4 but we’re the cleaning people really cleaning until 3:59? Or did the desk just not know so they didn’t check us in until 4. 2. Our 3 bed/bath unit only had 6 towels and 6 wash cloths. When I called for more I was told that they didn’t have any other towels to give us. Only having 6 towels and 6 cloths for a cottage that sleeps 8 is crazy. We were washing a load of towels daily. 1 laundry packet was provided so we had to buy a large container of laundry soap in order to get all this laundry done.3. No dish towels provided in the kitchen. How are you supposed to keep a kitchen clean or wash dishes? 3. Back to the bath towel issue- the bathrooms are all very slippery tile. When getting out of the shower dripping wet and only having 1 tiny towel to dry off the floors get very wet. There are no rugs or towels to put on the floor to keep from slipping. This is a major safety concern. If you don’t want to provide towels then at a minimum you should provide a large bath mat or rug for each bathroom, everyone in my group said how unsafe the bathrooms were with no towels rug to walk on to keep from slipping. 4. We also had no linens for our pull out sofas. I had to call and when I asked for an extra blanket for the sofa bed the woman told me they could only give me a sheet and to turn the air down to stay warm. Towels, linens, an

Quick Getaway

The house was clean and so nice. I loved that it backed up to the waterway. I liked that everything was right there and we could walk around. The one thing I wish it had was a printing of what you needed to do before you left. The 30 years old visitors were able to work the tv fine but the parents (60s/70s)struggled with the remotes and how to use it so maybe a quick how to on that may be helpful. Overall a great relaxing experience and definitely somewhere I would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Prior to checkin we called to see about the availability of extending our stay an extra night. Why we couldn’t do this online in today’s age is beyond me. It took forever for the representative to do this and it took until the next day to get confirmation of our extension. The representative didn’t seem to interested in helping us with our extension either. For the 20+ mins we were on the phone inquiring about extending our day, most of that time the representative had put down her phone receiver, likely thinking she muted her phone or put us on hold. We could hear her in the background ridiculing us to her other colleagues saying “these people don’t know what day they want to extend and don’t even know the email address they used when making the reservation.” We knew exactly what we wanted; just one extra day. It’s true we were unsure as to what email address we used. I offered 2 addresses that I frequently use but the representative insisted that I only had one chance at telling them my email address since it was used for security reasons. Luckily I guessed right. Even giving them my credit card info for making this reservation was insufficient. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, and ample linens and towels were provided. Garbage disposal wasn’t working. You had to plug it in under the sink for it to operate. Also, upstairs master BR fan in the bathroom did not work.

Great place to unwind

Here are the highlights; Close to Disney parksClean house and grounds Lots of room to spread out indoors with two living areasSpacious lanai area next to pool for those not swimming Free parkingAccess to all resort amenities A few things I would like to see changed;More and better quality bath towels. Only six provided for a place that sleeps eight. Towels were very scratchy, especially after a day in the sun Full size ironing board. Small tabletop borax provided, but full size could be better. Overall, our stay was great and we will likely return in the future.

Amazing Stay

This place exceeded all expectations that we had prior to being there. This cottage was great for 3 adults and a toddler, with enough room to not feel crammed in. The layout was great and had great amenities. The cottage had a great safety feature for the back doors that would alarm with our son opened the door while not looking. The pool and hot tub in the back was great for nights we wanted to stay in. The whole compound as a whole was amazing and had everything we needed within minutes drive. Can’t wait to stay again.

Great stay

Overall everything was great . House was clean and beautiful. Only thing we disliked was there wasn’t a broom and toilet paper was gone first day no extra in the house . Other then that I would give it 9 out of 10
