The modern & comfortable lounge features a beautiful open fire, perfect to set the mood, kick back and relax with unlimited NBN WIFI and cable tv Foxtel or enjoy a game on the beautiful queen size billiard table. The open plan gourmet kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm with quality appliances and a walk in pantry.

HOUSE IS SECURED BY OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERAS.

THE BOOKING PRICE IS 2 NIGHT MINIMUM FOR 2 GUESTS, EXTRA GUESTS ARE $50 PER NIGHT PER GUEST.
6 GUESTS ONLY. THE HOUSE SLEEPS MAXIMUM 6.

There are 3 comfortable bedrooms. Bedroom one has a Queen bed. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds, so the property is ideal for 2 couples or a family to escape to the mountains for a memorable getaway. All bedding & linen is supplied and there are electric blankets when needed.
The bathroom has a deep bath to help you truly relax, there is also an ensuite & walk in robe.

Firewood is not provided unless requested.
Price is for a couple, if 2 singles an additional $30 is charged for linen.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS BECAUSE OF SEPTIC LINES!! PLEASE DO NOT BACK YOUR CAR UP THE FOOTPATH TO THE FRONT DOOR AND PARK ON THE SANDSTONE PAVERS !!!

Family weekend
The property is clean and as described, in a nice location. In fact we chose it for the location and the outdoor fireplace. Furniture inside may need a refresh but not an issue. The communication with the host was perfect, Marcus is approachable and answers all queries promptly. Overall an ok stay. There was a bit of a smokey, stuffy smell about the house but that’s due to the indoor fireplace which we chose not to use for that reason. Overall a good house, some ppl may not be comfortable with the surveillance cameras outside the house. There was also some musty smell coming from the laundry mops, need to leave windows open at all times. No heaters in bedrooms, just electric blankets.

Great location but….
We stayed at this property for a week. We enjoyed the property which was well presented, well located, with great views and a beautiful backyard deck and open fireplace outside. There were two bathrooms and only one bath mat and a hand towel were provided which wasn’t enough for a family of five. The only area of concern was that the owner was monitoring our movements in the driveway and in the front yard via outdoor security cameras. He told us this when when communicating via the app. This was discomforting as we had children and wanted a private stay.

Great property 5 mins from Bright. Kids enjoyed the pool table, adults enjoyed the fireplace. Nice quiet country setting where all you can hear is the river and wildlife.

Lovely Getaway
Beautiful home in a lovely location. Warm and welcoming house with everything you need for a holiday. Loads of walks from the back yard and easy access to the bike path that goes all the way into town. A little way from the centre of Bright but on the same road to drop mountain bike riders to the shuttle service. The pool table was awesome to have and the outdoor fire a winner too,

Big comfy house with every thing you need, and a pub next door
Plenty of space and light. Amazing kitchen and pantry with everything you’d need, except a coffee machine. A short stroll to Nightingales for morning latte so not so bad. Pool table for hours of fun and frustration. Massive deck for eating out and watching the bush, but too hot on the 36 degree day, so had to retreat to the air con inside and watch cricket on foxtel. Right next door to wandi pub which was not open, so no noise problems. Could be annoying if you don’t want to party into the night or listen to live music, but handy if that’s your thing.

Johanna, saved the three day break
we chose the worst possible 3 days (12 to 14 Oct. 2022 ) for our break. Constant heavy rain and flood warnings lots of places closed. Johanna was a good place to be, great view even through rain and cloud, spacious rooms and every comfort. Rain prevented us form useing the outdoor deck, but the indoor fire and pool table kept us amused. Thank You.

Beautiful property in a peaceful and tranquil location. The house has everything you need for a stay. Spacious, comfy beds, warm clean showers, plenty of room to spread out or hang out together and, of course, the amazing view. Lovely walks around Wandiligong and super close to Bright and Mount Buffalo. We were thrilled and had exactly the short break we were after.

Excellent, a wonderful holiday
We stayed for 10 days for my 60th Birthday and loved every minute. The house is very comfortable with excellent large screen TV with great sound, Netflix and You Tube Premium, the two fireplaces (in and out) large and a real bonus in the winter. There's reverse cycle aircon in the open plan living room, not in the bedrooms (but are electric blankets). The only suggestion is for lamps in the living room so you can read by the fire. We had logs delivered by Skyline who were great, but still didn't stack in the wood area (to the right of the house). They use a ute so can drive on the grass to stack (driving with wheels either side of the septic lid). Bright Firewood deliver in a tip truck and is too heavy to drive on the grass. Roos are in the paddock next door (careful driving, they cross the road each night), Big Bertha (we named her) comes into the garden. Kookaburras, bowerbird, wonderful view, Wandi is gorgeous, such lovely people, so is Bright. Thank you Marcus for a wonderful stay.
