This vacation rental is a single level 2 bedroom 1 bath residence tucked away at the end of a road in a very quiet and private wooded location in Soldotna less than 5 minutes from the Kenai River.

The residence is located on a private cul-de-sac; you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and the solitude of a private setting.

This home is conveniently located between the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers, and is centrally located between the towns of Homer and Seward.

We provide you with an extensive library of books on Alaska, local hiking maps, best fishing holes, bird guides, wildflower, mammal and animal tracking books.

Visit Alaska's beautiful Kenai Peninsula, known for world famous fishing, sightseeing, hiking and outdoor adventures.

As a long time resident I can recommend the best fishing, hiking, bird watching and sightseeing adventures, making your trip a truly Alaskan experience.

1 queen-sized luxury bed is located in the primary bedroom and there is a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is also a queen hide-a-bed sofa sleeper in the livingroom -the residence will therefore accommodate up to 6 persons. Towels and quality bedding are provided.

ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOLS:
Since April 2020 our cleaning staff has been using an enhanced cleaning process: we use a 2-step approach in cleaning our vacation rentals. We CLEAN using a detergent and hot water for visibly dirty surfaces, followed by DISINFECTION (using Microban, Lysol spray, Chlorox bleach solution, Ozium).

"High Touch" surfaces - We clean and disinfect high touch surfaces after each stay. These areas include tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, TV remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, kitchen and bathroom surfaces.

"Low Touch" areas (such as floors, walls, blinds) - These are being cleaned using hot water and detergent. We mop from one end of the premises to the other.

"Soft surfaces" (such as carpeted floors, rugs) - We remove visible dirt and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces.

Towels, linens, bedding are laundered on the hottest setting - We also use a Lysol Sanitizing Laundry additive to sanitize all linens and towels.

We provide each vacation rental with a supply of hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and face masks for use in public places.

We ask that guests remove their shoes at the door

Perfect Getaway

Great location, quiet property

Nice Place Near the Kenai

I was staying at this property during a work trip and the accommodations suited my needs perfectly. There was a nice chair for reading and working, good internet, and it was a short drive from the river to get some fishing in every night. This would be a great place for a small family as well.

Perfect base camp

I will be recommending this little get-away location to friends and family. This unit in the duplex was well equipped with the little extras that made our stay comfortable. Beds and bedding were exceptional. Be aware this is a lower unit and you can hear the people above you. I believe we had 3 different guest stay above us during our stay. All were respectfully quiet, but we could still hear walking, doors closing, and toliets flushing during the day and night. The owner, Elizabeth, was a pleasure to work/deal with. I loved the secluded feel while centrally located to shopping and restaurants. Last day there, while doing dishes, two moose casually walked through the front yard. A true Alaskan experience.

Another great stay here.... love the house and location

I have stayed in this rental many times (...6 times now?) and each time I see another nice upgrade to the home. Whether its a new leather couch, or crisp 1000 thread count bed sheets... I always appreciate the surprises. The home has everything you need for a longer term stay. There is a newer washer/dryer and ironing board. There is a nice thick supportive queen bed in the master. The kitchen is perfectly laid out, and is very bright with windows that look over the trees. Landscaping surrounds the home. The home is at the end of a road in a very quiet location which is less than 15 minutes from the hospital.

We really liked the quiet location as well as the easy access to the KB hwy. It was easier for us just to use the Community College road rather than Skyline. It might help future users to have some hangers in the closets. Thanks for having us!

A lovely and quiet location. It was perfect

This property worked perfectly for us. After a busy day sightseeing, coming back to the property was very relaxing. The property has excellent high end kitchen appliances, sharp kitchen knives, washer/dryer, super clean, and has a modern touch of Alaskana. Good sized closet to store away your clothes and luggage etc. There was enough space for the two of us! Parking with our own private driveway was a bonus too. Highly recommend for a couple. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Beautiful Home!

This home was a nice launching spot to visit most of the Kenai Peninsula! The livingroom and bedrooms were modern and well furnished. It was a very comfortable light and bright home and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, plus there was a washer and dryer. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

The location is very close to the Kenai River and downtown Soldotna but there is a feeling of seclusion living at the end of a cul-de-sac. Moose walk through the yard and eagles soar overhead!
