We love staying here, house is very cute and well decorated!! Beds are comfortable and house was clean! Lots of bathroom towels and they even have washer and dryer with soap. They even supply dry firewood for a bonfire. Quiet little town with a few really good restaurants.

Nice stay

The house was located in a quiet location and was close to the places we wanted to see. Everything was clean and the owners communicated quickly. The washer and dryer were great to have. Just a few things to note was this house is street parking only and if you like to cook, there is only salt and pepper available and no oil. Since this is an older house, one of the quirks were that some light switches are located in the center of the room but the owner has nightlights which helps . Lastly, some of the kitchen and bathroom towels are pretty “well loved” and could use an upgrade . Overall we had a very nice stay here .

This property is very nice. You wake up to the clip clop of horses in the Amish community. Drawback was the steps leading to the entrance- be person in our party used a walker. Owners are nice and helpful with the shower. Main floor bed was very comfy. 2nd floor, not so much. Overall a nice place to stay for a weekend of events in shipshewana, just 10 minutes down the road.

Great Experience

This was a perfect spot to catch up college friends (from 1982). We explored with walking around as well as driving to surrounding areas; then we kicked off our shoes for an evening of chatting. Communication from our host was perfect. Great experience.

The property was clean and beautiful. All the comforts of home. The only issue I had was the musty smell. My head started clogging up within a half hour of being there. But, my trusty Zyrtec helped with that. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and would recommend it.

Annual ladies visit to Amish country

The home was very clean and decorated in an inviting, down-home way. It is charming just like the title indicates. The property is well maintained, including the outdoor spaces. We loved the front porch, as well as the back patio, where we enjoyed playing games under the shade of the tree. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of 5. The kitchen was well stocked, making our stay extra convenient since we ate in for most of our meals. The stairs to the upstairs are steep, so keep that in mind for those wishing to use the upstairs bedrooms. Two in our group stayed in the downstairs bedroom to avoid the climb, but the upstairs bedrooms are charming and worth the climb in my opinion. The owner was timely and easy to communicate with. It’s easy to like this property and the hosts who take such good care of it and strive to make the guests feel welcome. We would stay here again.

ADORABLE - highly recommend

This is an adorable and cozy home to stay in. It was perfect for our group of adult coaches while in the area for a volleyball tournament. I wish we'd have had more time at the house to enjoy the outdoor fire area, it's perfect for some quiet time and is not far from Shipshewana. Property is exactly as described and hosts are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There were personal touches added for us as surprises that we found on arrival. Highly recommend staying here!

Charming Home

This home is warm and inviting from the cozy front porch to the firepit in the backyard. The hosts thought of all the little details that make a vacation relaxing - fans and Kleenex in each room, live plants, games, plenty of comfortable seating and a special treat waiting for us in the refrigerator. The sky lights and windows brought in natural light during the day with plenty of lamps and ceiling lights for the evening. Just a short drive to the Blue Gate Theatre and that Shipshewana has to offer. Will stay there again!

Adult Christmas trip

Very nice and spacious home! Very well decorated and we loved all the extra accommodations. Like paper plates, lots of useful kitchen equipment and tools. Beds were pretty comfortable, not the best but not the worst we have stayed at! They had games, lots of books and a beautiful backyard with a fireplace and DRY Firewood. Definitely would stay again!!
