Great base for exploring the North Cascades
This is a great place to stay if you plan to visit the North Cascades National Park. In fact, there's very little similar accommodation any closer than this. (I recommend using your GPS to find it.) The setting is delightful: a small quiet farm with horses, goats and so on. It has walking trails down to a creek and even to the Skagit River. It has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 people. There's a sitting room, with a DVD player and lots of movies for kids. The kitchen is very straightforward, so you can easily prepare your own meals. The hosts, Michael and Nan, were very gracious and helpful. They pointed out the best trails for local walking and gave some useful tips for the North Cascades N.P. A delightful stay and look forward to going back sometime!

Lovely spot and great hosts
The farm on which this rental is located is lovely, as are the sunsets from the dining area on a clear day. There's plenty of space to spread out, all of which is very functional. Michael and Nan were delightful to talk to and very helpful. We very much appreciated the three-ring binder with detailed information about hikes in area, including driving distances.

More than lodging
We loved the placid, shady creek, picking blackberries, the farm animals and the airy living room, a comfort in hot weather.

A little bit of heaven
Immaculate, spacious, attractive facility with luscious beds, gentle winds blowing through the windows and lovely, funny and generous hosts. This rent is located on a small farm where it is easy to interact with pigs and goats or watch the horses grazing in the fields. Take a walk to a swimming hole or if you’re lucky, your hosts will drive you in the back of a pick up truck! Good proximity to the western entrance of the North Cascades National Park. Regretted having to leave!

Bonnie is gold
The loft is a funky spot, perfect if you are a part of a big group staying at the lodge, but not set up for cooking meals if you are there on your own. In many ways it was a relief, a throwback to the funky realness of olden days. The bed was a bit soft for my liking, and kitchen implements are limited, but it was great to be on a farm, the views were nice, and the space has a good energy.

Peaceful, Quiet and Gorgeous
We stayed with Michael and Nan for 2 nights. It is a quiet, peaceful and gorgeous property, and much needed for my husband and me. Michael and Nan greeted us for check in and showed us around a bit. The beds were comfy. A very unique master bath for sure. The kitchen is tiny but workable. We cooked up some good food there. Be sure to take a walk around the beautiful property. The goats and horse there are fun to watch. Great getaway for us. Thank you for hosting us! Oh, and the muffins were delicious!! Dave and Robin

Away from the City!
An all-around great stay for those looking to get away from the city! Nice accommodations. Lots of beautiful scenery and quiet! If you need some amenities, a few small towns are nearby. We found all kinds of enjoyable times within 30-45 mins drive. The only hangup was some confusion over price through the VRBO system; we ended up paying more than we originally expected, but it was still fair.
