The house sleeps up to 10 guest comfortably with all of the comforts of your home. Slow down and take in nature’s wonders, enjoy the true four seasons, winter, spring summer and fall, each one with its own majestic splender and beauty. Listen to the sound of water flowing through the multiple creeks and springs surrounding this 10 acre property. Walk outside your door and try your luck fishing in either of the two stocked, catch and release fresh water ponds, also located on the property. At any time on a given day, you can see deer, wild turkey, squirrels, and all kinds of birds and wild life. (NO HUNTING PLEASE & CATCH AND RELEASE FISHING ONLY, THANK YOU)

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BOOK THIS PLACE

After paying to stay at this property over the summer I was notified there was a problem and the property was not really available. We only received a partial refund and the "owner" has repeatedly ignored my requests for the remaining amount and refuses to respond to my requests. Very disappointed in this experience. What a scam!

Engaging with nature in the most comfortable way .

Beautiful Well-stocked cabin and a water plenty of hot water and the views were beautiful very peaceful sitting on the decks watching the dears go by. I do recommend this cabin for peace and beauty could not of asked for anything else!!

Beautiful and very friendly part of the country

Three of us and our labrador retriever enjoyed a long stay in Sparta. The area is beautiful and peaceful and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Plenty of space inside and out and we enjoyed the mountains, deer sightings and super nice people.

One of our favorite vacations!

This home is really unique and fun. The land is incredible. Its a great bonus to have useable land in the mountains. We went for walks around the property most days. The location is fantstic with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owners provide lots of nice bonus items like coffee, paper products, and some nice little treats. All in all, one of our best VRBO experiences.

The property was good looking thats it the bed rooms down staires was like sleeping in a sauna it was very moist 2 0f the bed rooms were glorified broom closets with no electric outlets the ac that they had up stairs only was bad .Getting in touch with the host who is the owner sister was a joke until the owner called her told her to pay attention

Amazing property with so much to offer!

Our family went for a Spring Break getaway from Ohio and it was a great meeting point to see the grandparents from Virginia we hadn’t seen in 7 months! The property has plenty of room inside and out for 4 adults, 4 kids ages 8-12 and our 2 dogs! It was so nice to just let the kids run and explore and be outside! We hiked the strenuous 1.5 miles to the top of Green Mountain with beautiful views at the top! We had fun fishing in both ponds. Made campfires and had s’mores everyday. Took a short drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a quick 1.5 mile hike on the Fodder Stack trail one afternoon. It was a fun shorter hike. Our last full day we packed a lunch and went to Stone Mountain State Park, a short drive away. We hiked the Stone Mountain Loop Trail which ended up being a little over 5 miles with moderate and strenuous parts but absolutely beautiful views at the summit, along with waterfalls and a cool historic homestead. It was worth the hike! We ordered take out 2 nights from the Taphouse Pizzeria and Crave in the town of Spart. Both were very good. The Cabin itself is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay plus more!! They really have thought of everything to provide you with a comfortable stay! Cindy was our contact for the week and was able to answer all of our questions and was very good at communication! The kids all loved the cabin, the game room is a bonus for rainy days! We will definitely be back to this amazing spot!

Labor Day Getaway

My husband, kids and grandkids stayed at this property a few weeks ago. It was the first time we have been anywhere this year. We wanted something quiet and secluded. It was awesome. Great for families

We rented this property for our niece’s Birthday. It was a wonderful stay. The rooms with the bunk beds was great for the kids to sleep in. The pantry had packs of water bottles for us as well as all you would need to make s’mores, which was awesome! We ended up doing a bomb-fire and making them, the kids had a blast! We loved the pond as we were able to fish and spend quality time together. There’s a Food Lion and a Dollar General not too far from the cabin which was great since we had to pick up a few things. The cabin is very quiet and serene!

Cool Getaway

Great quite place. Property has two ponds for fishing and in our case dog swimming. Well equipped kitchen with snacks. Very comfortable house. Everyone enjoyed it. Love to come back in the fall when the leaves turn. 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway which makes for leisurely traffic free trip to Boone and other areas. Great Waterfall close by that you can experience by yourself. Will be back.

Awesome!

My wife and kids and I spent three nights at this property and it's safe to say that our expectations were met and exceeded! The property owner is very responsive, and all communications were very clear. The cabin was perfectly clean and very well-stocked for our stay. The ponds on the property are absolutely incredible for some catch and release fishing! Our family absolutely loved the experience and we will definitely be back.

Great Peaceful Family Vaction

We recently had a great family vacation to this very peaceful area of Sparta, NC. We were at this place for a week over Easter and had fun fishing in the ponds, hiding Easter eggs, exploring the large yard and family fun with all the games available in the house. Bring in some food and everything else is ready for you at the house. The large yard with the two ponds and creeks throughout the property are breathtaking. The cabin and yard are very large and full of unique spaces where my family could be together or spread out if we needed to. We all loved the wooden and rock interiors and exteriors. Made us feel like we were in a tree house. We even got to see a few deer running through the property near the end of our trip. The drive in and out of the area of the property is very beautiful too. Sparta isn't very far away, about a 10 minute drive or less, and you will find most everything you need there. We did get out a explore the area while on vacation. West Jefferson and Mt. Airy and Galax Va were some of our favorite places. We found lots of good food at various places while we were out and about. The Blue Ridge Parkway is very near the cabin and the overlooks near the cabin from the Parkway are gorgeous. Both Jeorge and Cindy were very helpful and very responsive to questions we had about the property and supplied us with a list of things to do and try in the area. Thanks for all your help. We really enjoyed our time at this place and hope to be able to return again. Rent this place and you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful Property

Can’t stress how beautiful the property is, the ponds, the layout, and the home were great. Owner was extremely helpful and understanding, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Location was close to Sparta, and plenty of golf and hiking opportunities in the area.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend stay over memorial day weekend 2019. The kids and dogs loved walking around the two ponds and had plenty of room to run and play. House is located just a short distance to the state parks with easy access for hiking and kayaking as well. Also really close to town if you forget or need to grab anything.

Unforgettable Vacation and Memories

Amazing ! Our family fell in love with this hidden gem. It’s gated so you have your own privacy, they have their own lake in which you can go fishing which the boys loved. The owner was very good with communication and even left us recommendation for nearby marketplaces, restaurants and bars which really came in handy. The house had absolutely everything we needed, including games for the family and they left us chopped wood for the fire pit which we were able to use upon arrival! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation.

Memorable Weekend!

What an amazing weekend stay we had at this beautiful property in Sparta, NC! The fact that the house is within an hour and a half from Charlotte Douglas Airport allowed us to fly instead of having to drive, giving us more time to enjoy our short stay on the property. The owner was very good with communication and assistance. We appreciated the suggestions given to us by the owner on where to go and things to do, they came in handy. The small quaint town of Sparta is only 5 miles from the property, making it easy to dine out and do groceries without driving far to do so. The property is adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway and just a few minutes to it’s entrance. The house was totally equipped with all of the necessities of our own home, very comfortable, extremely clean and neat, you can tell the owners take pride to detail and cleanliness. Not only is the property very safe since it is in a private gated community, but the grounds look and feel like if you were in a natural preserve. My only regret is not having more time to stay. I definitely recommend this property to other renters and plan to come back soon to experience natures different seasons in the mountains.
