Wonderful family gathering!

The Klondike is an amazing property! Our large group wasn't crowded at all. We enjoyed the pool room, hot tub, theater and game rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals together. The two washer and dryers came in handy after a day out on the lake. We sat around the propane and wood fire pits and used the pizza oven in the gazebo to bake loaves of bread. There was ample parking. We highly recommend this property.

We brought our extended family of 17 to this wonderful home and it was amazing. So much to do inside if it rains, and great access to 2 lakes, hiking trails, bike riding, etc. Excellent communication and information with the host and a painless adventure!

Perfect House.

Our family has had countless memorable celebrations at this house, including Christmas, Easter, birthdays, and now my son's high school graduation. The pictures don't do it justice; it's truly amazing. Abby and the owners are always accommodating, and I highly recommend this house.

Spectacular Home

This home is even more spectacular than the pictures. We needed a home that could fit 17 humans to celebrate our fathers 70th birthday (8 adults/9 kids 2-10yr old). We had more than enough space, and honestly didn't even touch the loft space above garage that could have slept even more people. This home was built and furnished with such thought. I mean even the nightlights throughout the home were beautiful and on theme (cabin), except AC even though they provided a solution and there was AC. The downstairs bar was top-notch and movie theater. The entire home top to bottom was comfortable and enjoyable. The only downside is we were only there for the weekend. Abby, the broker we dealt with was professional, helpful and always quick with replies. She even sent back to us all the kids bathing suits/towels we forgot in one of the two dryers on site. What delight she was. And we're thankful for our experience with her and sending all our stuff back. A Word of Caution: ALOT of rules. And postage of fines throughout home and in lease. Understandably, this is an exquisite home, and all should take care and preserve such a beautiful home. But at the end of the day, it's a rental and could have been very off putting to most to read being fined constantly throughout the home. We only had one issue. The outdoor pizza oven was not what was advertised and/or sent videos of in the welcome package. Which was disappointing when we planned for a big pizza night for the kids.

It is a beautiful property and our group of 19 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the location. We enjoyed all the amenities. I can see our group going back to the property! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us. One suggestion for the manager is to clearly mention in the instructions for prospective tenants to bring bathroom tissues.

1st Annual Cousin's Weekend

This is a spectacular property- The 12 of us had plenty of room to spread out yet it's cozy enough to all sit around the table and have dinner or watch a movie. Some of the reviews talk about the "signs" and the "door fault announcements" and although they can be an annoyance during loading and unloading, we got used to closing doors behind us very quickly! We didn't use the hot - we'll save that for our next visit. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.

Great weekend getaway!

House is amazing for a group. We had 8 adults and 6 kids under the age of 5 and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We cooked meals, took a few dips in the hot tub, played some pool, utilized the home theatre and everything was amazing! We will definitely be interested in staying again in the future!

Long family weekend

Great, stay! We live somewhat close so I brought my own favorite pots and pans, but there were adequate pots and pans there. The house is amazing, the furnishings are top-notch as well as the artwork, and the whole layout of the home is great for family gatherings! It was a yucky, snowy, rainy three days, so the basement was perfect. I have a home theater, but this one was over the top!

Long weekend getaway.

This is our 2nd year going to this property and I must say it does not disappoint. The house is beautiful and well maintained. My kids and grandkids all love it as well. I would highly recommend it.

Overall a wonderful house for a large group (likely better for a longer vs shorter stay though)

We came to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday with family and a few friends (all adults). Overall, this was a wonderful house and our group has already discussed wanting to come back. The billiards room is a lovely side room off the kitchen and living room areas and the basement is massive. We had 13 individuals at the house and it did not feel cramped at all. Folks could do their own thing and not be right on top of each other. We definitely recommend the house. With that said, here are our couple critiques: (1) given the nightly rate and high host fees, we expected a few basic necessities to be restocked at least with a minimal base supply. Be aware that no toilet paper, soap, trash bags, etc. are included. It's not a huge deal to purchase these items but we were only there for a few days and there are a lot of bathrooms so had to buy a lot of supplies that were only partially used. For this level of cost, we'd expect some basic necessities to be included. (2) all of the doors have chimes on them and if any door is left open for more than 3-4 seconds they start beeping loudly. Not a big deal but got pretty annoying pretty quick. Loading and unloading cars, taking out trash, or doing any activity where numerous people are entering / exiting or you don't have the hands to immediately close the door results in beeping. I get the owner is trying to make the home secure, but would suggest they relax the settings on the security system somewhat. Overall, would stay again!

Holiday Getaway

This is one of the best properties I have booked with no issues to note. Simple check in and check out process. Questions we had were listed in the book provided. Family weekend stay at the Log Mansion

We had a wonderful stay! It was 12 adults and 6 kids (ages 2-13) and there was plenty of room to sleep! This house is even more stunning in person. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and even had a huge family dinner. We were happy to see a huge Christmas tree to set the mood for the holidays. Thanks again. Highly recommend

Weekend Getaway

14 of us spent the weekend here. The pictures didn’t do the house justice. It was much nicer in person. Plenty of time was spent at the poker and pool tables. Movie theater was a nice experience. Jacuzzi was covered so even though it rained most of the trip we were still able to enjoy. The plan is to do this trip again in the near future

Beautiful giant cozy house

Had my 30th birthday there with friends from all over. So much space, we felt the 14 of us didn't take up enough of it. Beautiful kitchen for cooking meals and dining table to gather around, fire pits to hang out on the deck, a beautiful golf course right off the property. Can't wait to come back to this house! It was everything I wanted!

Fall Getaway

This house is a gem! We were a group of 4 families with young adult children (early 20's) that have been vacationing together for 15 years. This home had so much to offer and plenty of room everywhere. At any given time we had people watching a movie, playing a game of pool or sitting outside by the fire, all while football games on the TV in the great room and cooking in the kitchen. Gathering after dinner to play our favorite table games like trivia pursuit or heading downstairs for a late night poker game. Some fun in the local area: We played paintball at the Skytop lodge which was only 15 minutes from the house and we visited a winery named Three Hammers Winery located about 30 minutes from the house. This place was another hidden gem with a great story. great wine and really pretty property. Overall a great experience!

BEAUTIFUL LOG CASTLE

I'm going to start with the positives. There were so many. We were there for a family reunion. Ages 1-88. We filled the place. The enormous house allowed for us to all stay together without being cramped. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the tools needed for our family meals. The outdoor space was beautiful with plenty of comfortable chairs. We had a fun pizza night at the pizza oven. We had 2 fire pits ... Wood out in the yard and a propane one in the porch which we loved on our rainy day. We loved the theater ...so comfy, and way better than an actual theater. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. We made many fun memories on this trip. The negatives. We had to get toilet paper on the day of our arrival. Not one bathroom had more than a half to quarter of a roll. I think it would be fair to just have 1 extra roll in each bathroom. After a hefty linen fee, none of the beds were made up upon arrival. I know this may sound petty, but after a driving all day to get somewhere, the last thing I wanted to do was make beds. That was such a bummer. I have rented villas in all sizes and places and have never had a linen fee or had to make my own beds. This will now make me question future rentals. Overall ....such a beautiful location and space. A must do for anyone who loves a log cabin look and feel, Castle style.

Wish I was able to give 6 stars!!!

Me and the wife hosted our 5th annual couples retreat at this beautiful cabin. We bring 6 of our married fiends together for a beautiful weekend. This house accommodates all 12 of us with a ton of room left. This is my 8th or 9th time booking here. I still get blown away with how amazing this place is. I highly recommend this place. It’s worth every single dollar . Thanks Abby for always taken care of us.

Ladies Weekend Away!

The house and entire property were exceptional—clean, and well-appointed, the entire home was cozy, tasteful, and decorated perfectly. The scale of the home was more than adequate for our group of 9. The beds were comfy, and we spent a good amount of time in front of the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The hot tub was perfect for an evening soak! Plenty of parking, and close to several shops, restaurants, and gorgeous hiking trails. The kitchen was a dream to prepare meals in and we plan to return in spring!

Absolutely breathtaking

Our stay included 14 adults and there was more than enough room for us all! This home is absolutely amazing! From the moment I pulled into the driveway, I was blown away with how beautiful it is. Check in was easy, the house was spotless, everything is labeled clearly and the rooms just got better and better as I moved through the home. Everyone was wowed! The house comes with all your essentials to get you started and all your kitchen needs. It rained during our time here and it didn’t even matter. We were still able to enjoy time outside and loved making pizza in the outdoor oven! With all the extras in the home, there was no reason to leave, nor did we want to! The property manager responded quickly to any questions I had and was wonderful to communicate with. This home exceeded all our expectations and we will definitely be booking this home again in the future!
