Misleading

The property was dirty; it appeared as if the previous guest had just left. The pictures were very misleading; they had to be several years old. The walls were dirty, the vents had dust built up, the bedding didn’t look clean. The property could use paint, a deep cleaning and new bedding, beds (master bed is on the floor) and mattresses. Upon arrival we cleaned everything, bathrooms, bedding including mattress protectors at the laundromat, washed towels, swept floors. The hand soap in the downstairs bathroom had pinesol or fabulouso in it. We were highly disappointed in the property.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Had a great living experience here, owner very nice and communication was perfect. Great size house, very clean, and loved the back yard. Will be looking to stay here everytime I visit Atlanta.

Great Gem with Close Proximity to Airport!

This House was a beautiful stay, we travel a lot for work so we decided to split the cost and it turned out much better than staying in a hotel! The house was clean, easy to access and space to park many cars and very safe! Getting there may make you think is not, but once you get there, our cars and our stuff was safe! Nelissa was a great host, provided options for food for delivery and sit down. Communication was great and very professional! We are looking forward to a future stay and explore more Atlanta!

Great for 2 families

Our stay was amazing. Nelissa communicated with us throughout the weekend when I had questions and the kids (two 3 yr olds, a 8 yr old and a 10 yr old) absolutely LOVED the bunk beds! We will definitely stay here next time we are in Atlanta

Worth the $

Communication with owner was great, and the house was definitely worth the money. There were a few minor issues (almost no silverware in kitchen, no sheets to fit pull out bed) and some cleanliness and preexisting damage issues that I will message the owner directly. Overall it fit our needs and as a group we were pleased.

NOT AS ADVERTISED ON VRBO

My friend & I were in ATL to visit her son. We got there after dark. We thought we had arrived at wrong place. I text Nelissa, she we were at right place. We had passed it b 4 so we drove thru neighborhood to turn around, we were frightened for our life in this neighborhood as there were illegal & hooking going on right before our eyes. We pulled in drive sat in car observing the house & neighborhood. The house is equipped with cameras & bar's on the doors & windows. For reasons we know know why. Here we are, 2 women driving a nice Mercedes in the wrong neighborhood. We would have been OK staying there because carry our guns, but we we afraid of what we might come out & find out how we might find the car. We decided neither of our husband's would want use there, so we let. Got to the stop sign, in front of us stood a shacky little store with bars as well. We new we were not in a safe area. I called my husband, he said to get to a safe place & pull over & he would stay on the phone with us while finding us a hotel. He found us a nice hotel room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Midtown Atlanta, which I highly recommend. I text Nelissa advising her we did not go in & we would not be staying for said reasons. She text back & said I hate that or something to that effect. I asked for my $ back thru VRBO, who definitely agreed she broke contract rules with them with false advertising & the fact check in time in 4.00pm, I received a text from her earlier assuring me she would make sure it was ready by 3.00pm, even though I didn't request. On Sunday afternoon after we arrived in town I received another text from her saying it would be 4.30pm before it would be ready. Grabbed an early dinner as we waited to get into house, which, by the way, after speaking with VRBO Customer service is against their contract. Long story short I would NOT recommend this property as it is not as advertised. She later explained to me that it was a neighborhood being revamped, taking an old broken neighborhood & trying to revise it. Don't be fooled by the inside pictures. I'm sure it was lovely inside as shown but the neighborhood was not a safe neighborhood as stated on VRBO. I RECEIVED NO COMPENSATION BACK & HAD TO PAY FOR A HOTEL ROOM. THIS IS MY FRIENDS & I EXPERIENCE FROM 2 WEEK'S AGO. Last weekend we were in another city and VRBO as always, and exactly like it said. Before booking I would ask for panoramic viewing of neighborho

Lovely house

The house was lovely and well equipped to meet our needs. The beds were comfy, but I couldn’t find any extra blankets so if you are cold natured you might want to bring a few extra. The property is 1 block from the Ron Clark Academy where we were attending Professional Development, so it was quite convenient.
