This 3 BR, 1BA 1000 sq. ft. home with central air and heat (heat pump) is full of antiques and charm. It boosts a full kitchen with all the essentials, seating for 6, a Kurig coffee station, and more. A bath/shower combination, outside dining and relaxing in a large backyard with a gazebo overlooking the mountains and a fence for the pups. More pics to come in the next few days.

Great place to stay with your pups

This is a great place to stay with your pups. House is pet friendly and there is a fenced in area for them to be able to roam freely.

Beautiful Area++

We met Theresa and found her to be a great host. The area is just beautiful. Our young son was able to feed some cows next to the property (with the owner's permission) and he thought that was great. Thank you for a great stay.

Good home base location for vacation.

We arrived at 1700 hours and was greeted by owner. She showed my wife around and assisted us carrying in are bags. The inside of the home was perfect for what we needed it for, a home base to explore the area. The home was well stocked with all necessary items plus some treats. We spent a week at location and traveled many miles exploring history of area. My wife enjoyed feeding the local cows apples and carrots. The owner asked several times if we needed anything. We are easy to please and enjoyed are stay in the area. Would recommend to anyone who needs a home base to explore.

Great communication

Theresa called me the day of our reservation to let us know her cable was out and to go over sleeping arrangements and arrival details. It was so thoughtful and I felt so prepared. Her directions were great, we arrived after dark and still had no problems. The house had snacks for the adults and toys for the dog and baby. It was a perfect stay. Thanks, Theresa!

Writing Weekend

The property was mostly as advertised. The outside was somewhat different from the pictures, but the inside was clean and sweetly decorated for the holidays. There were various added touches to make our stay better. The property host was very responsive each time I called or texted with a question. My friend/coauthor and I were able to accomplish our writing goals for the weekend.

Host was hospitable & welcoming & communicated well and we were greeted with extras & little treats in the kitchen, inside was warm and comfortable… the vistas however were not quite what we expected. The proximity to / unimpeded view of the correctional center (& glow from security lighting) was not the rolling hills, woods & pastures the listing led us to anticipate. While it did not really trouble us this visit (a quick overnight stay on the way to somewhere else), this may be a disappointment to guests looking for a setting more conducive to a romantic getaway or family vacation.

Great cozy farmhouse

My wife, granddaughter and I found the farmhouse to be perfect for our lifestyle. Having milk sodas and water already in the fridge, as well as snacks in the kitchen, allowed us to relax on arrival and nit have to rush to the store. Next time we are in the area we will definently consider staying again.

Perfect getaway place with our three pups

We enjoyed the cottage so much. Nothing fancy, but clean and inviting. The special touches like eggs and milk waiting in the fridge. Also, the snacks and treats available was an added touch. We’ll definitely be back.

Quiet, Great House to Bring a Dog

The house was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the porch off the kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for my Shepherd! The house is a bit hard to find if you don't read the instructions from the Host, but if you follow her directions they'll lead you right to it!

Hidden Gem

The house is definitely a hidden gem especially one that accepts dogs without an added fee. Also, upon arrival the house didn't have a dog smell - huge plus! The husband loved all the extra goodies available in the kitchen. Even though we only stayed one night it was perfect for our little family. We hope to return to the area in the near future and will book here if available. Theresa is a wonderful host!
