Nestled on the top of the Great Dividing Range in the heart of Kinglake, Karma is a great place to unwind and relax. Set on three acres of garden with vegie patch and resident chooks, Karma Kinglake consists of four cottages and a studio apartment.
Our gorgeous, cosy, Studio below the Big Barn/Conference Centre located in garden setting are ideal for couples or a single guest who want the convenience of having their own space to relax and unwind.
Kinglake is home to the amazing Kinglake National Park. Just an hour from Melbourne airport and CBD close to wineries of the Yarra Valley and fabulous walking and cycling trails.
Karma Kinglake was built after the disastrous fires on Black Saturday 2009. Wherever possible recycled materials and reclaimed timbers from properties in the local area have been used. We endeavour to be as self sustaining as possible, we have rain water tanks, our own orchard and vegie patch and we treat all our waste water.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property (which is just over 3 acres), we have specific rooms available for guests who require disability access and we welcome well behaved dogs.
Make yourself at home, ask us about our local native birds (feed them from your deck area) or grab some eggs from our resident chickens "the Lay Girls". We live onsite and are here if you need us and happy to help you explore.

karma king lake was so beautiful and peaceful, the owner Steve was very kind and hospitable. We stayed in the guest house room it was a stunning cosy little room that was very clean and had everything we needed.. Would stay again.
Such a beautiful spot! The studio was perfect for a night away. Perfectly equip with all we needed. Comfy bed, cozy and so close to the town if we wished to go there. Absolutely will come back with the kids one day!
The location was great and it was great to accommodate our pooch. Easy walk to town and pleasant bush surrounds.
Cooking facilities a bit limited in the studio apartment.
We felt the listing a little misleading to see the upstairs apartment and then learn we were in the smaller downstairs room. Did not really get the ambience of the surroundings.
Otherwise all good, check in and out all easy. Very clean. Breakfast ok.
