Everything in here seems to have been considered. There's a bit of everything for anyone and just when you think you've found everything there is to find you'll discover some new twist. The space is very unique and offers a lot of room to sprawl during the day. The bedroom space is a little 'cozy' so I wouldn't expect much intimate time if you bring others. Beyond that the surrounding are is very nice. There's a bit of traffic to contend with along the lake but is generally quite silent. The nearby town has most things you'd need but groceries were a little light compared to a larger store so bring any food you'd want to definitely have on hand. Great stay overall, will definitely want to go back.
Our weekend was perfect. The house was lovely and had so many amenities to help us relax. We loved the large yard and hot tub. It was so nice having the lake to walk around. Town was very close and had cute shops and restaurants. Paula was easy to communicate with, as well. We had a great time.
We arrived to freshly baked cookies, sparkling grape juice, mulled apple cider packets & flowers on the kitchen table. I mistakenly thought the flowers were also a gift. Oops! The sunroom was by far our favorite spot. The views were spectacular. fabeautifbring you peace.
My wife and I loved our stay at this location. Was a perfect weekend getaway. We really enjoyed what the house had to offer, especially the hot tub, sauna, and fireplace. Made the cold rainy weather we had cozy and enjoyable as we huddled up inside.
The cozy cabin had lots of wonderful charm. The outer room had a sauna and a fireplace. The windows were great with a perfect view of the snow. The porch had a very nice with a big hot tub. The bed room was nice with a reading area and the living room has a great TV. We were greeted with cookies and a bottle of the good stuff. I would recommend this cabin and we cannot wait to go back.
I booked this property for a romantic winter getaway with my partner. It was beautiful, peaceful, and brimming with charm. Paula was a wonderful hostess!
Our family wanted a weekend away before the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Holiday. This getaway was perfect. I was nervous our kids would be bored but they really enjoyed it and want to come back every year. We brought our dog with us which was a first for our family. She lived her very best life. We played cards, darts, made a fire in the fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, watched the birds at the birdfeeder, went to the lake and local pizza joint and played outside with our dog. We never even turned the tv on while we were there. I can't recommend this place enough. Very peaceful!
Great little cabin to getaway to for a weekend. The hot tub was a treat, and the stars were beautiful! We loved how well stocked the cabin was too. So many spices and tools to do all the cooking we wanted to! Very comfy bed as well.
The hubs and I enjoyeed a long week at this mountain hide away. A nice plate of cookies were waiting for us....they were delicious! We brought our danes along to enjoy the peace and quiet. They even got to relax since no one was driving or taking walks by the house. It was nice to relax in the hot tub & sauna. The pups enjoyed their walks to the lake and up the road. The folks we ran into were really nice.. The house was close to familiar hunting grounds as well as a nice fishing hole..the hubs had luck with both. If you're looking to book...I highly recommend this location... its out there..but not so far that you cant make a run in town.. FYI...there isn't a fenced in yard....we brought portable fencing..just to keep our pups safe.
We had a great time and the house was cozy and full equipped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and friendly. We were welcomed with a plate of fresh cookies and a bottle of wine and that was a very nice way to start the week. We enjoyed the lake and the sunroom and the firepit and hot tub. I have no complaints at all and will definitely be booking this house or others with this host. She was absolutely wonderful.

The cabin was beautiful, with amazing views and countless activities! We loved the hot tub and the sauna! Paula had cookies waiting for us at our arrival! Paula’s hospitality and the wonderful cabin made for a beautiful weekend away with friends! I highly recommend!
This property is located about 4 miles down a country lane, with a lake near the mouth of the driveway. If you’re looking to escape society for a bit, this is the place. It rained during most of our trip, but the enclosed porch gave us plenty of space to read, play darts, and still enjoy nature. If you bring along your dog, they have beds and bowls for your use. This place had a cozy cabin feel …recommend!
We had a bachelorette weekend here. This house is so cute and so relaxing. We had a blast staying up late and getting in the hot tub and enjoying the sauna. It’s in a great location to get away too and enjoy the outdoors. We can’t wait to go back!
