Booking process a nightmare

The property was nice enough though the windows need a good clean - the view was very blurred by the salt build up which is disappointing because that’s what you’re paying for! Oven, couch and window tracks also needed a good clean. Also not sure when the doona covers were last washed... on top of that, the booking process is a complete nightmare. You would think once you’ve booked and paid through stayz that would be it. Nope. You have to then fill out a tonne of forms for LJ Hooker Batemans Bay which are annoying and time consuming and make a second payment through another platform. It also means you end up providing all your personal details and credit card information not once, not twice but three times. Ridiculous.

Absolute Beach frontage cosy Beach House

Cosy Beach House right on the Beach with a large covered deck to sit out onto. The house was very clean and even for an older style house, felt recently updated. Everything that you needed for cooking was available. Only negative was the booking process. My booking sat pending for a number of days and I needed to phone external property agency to follow this up as they did not respond to messaging via stayz. Additionally I ended up having to give my credit card number initially to stayz, then again to to the property manager in addition to sending a screenshot of my credit card. Had I known beforehand that this was to be the case, I probably would not have booked the property. Having to give CC details 3 times should be transparent in the stayz listing. Besides all that, the staff at property management agency, when I spoke to them where quite pleasant and helpful and I certainly do recommend this property to stay in.

What a dream!

Wonderful location with incredible views and only a stones throw from the beach. Well appointed cottage with everything you need. Many hours were spent watching families and their pooches play on the beach and just watching the world go by. Great location and close proximity to all the hot spots. We will definitely be back! A+++

Short Stay by the Sea

Great location, small but comfortable accommodation for two people. Furniture needs an update but is still beachside acceptable. Owner needs to fix the toilet cistern which leaks into the pan 24/7. Must waste heaps of water. Light in very small bathroom is on its last bit of shine and needs replacement. Entry screen door needs new rollers under it , simple job . Jambs itself shut, Ok from the outside to enter but near impossible to get out if it sticks because you can't easily lift the door from the inside. Agent needs to learn some PR skills as we both found them not welcoming. But GREAT SPOT!!!

Wow, Wow, Wow ... fantastic property in stunning Garden Bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel so lucky to have had this opportunity to stay at this wonderful unique property. The views are to die for... and the beach is amazing. The house was as neat as a pin & had everything we needed. Thank goodness were able to stay a week, so we had a chance to really enjoy everything that this property has to offer including the magnificent walks which are on your doorstep.

Perfect Location

The property is in an excellent location with beachfront at your doorstep. Great lawn area in front of property where kids and adults can play outdoor games. Great balcony and view. The property does not have wifi nor air conditioning. The property was extremely hot and we had a good run of 30+ temperatures so would have been nice to be able to cool off. We were not happy with a 4pm check in , particularly when you are paying for a days accommodation. Other than that, great spot!

Excellent Spot!

Great spot for all to enjoy! Huge sun lit deck to enjoy all day long and a large grassed area for the kids to run around on, only steps from the beach. Loved staying here!

This cozy, comfortable house has incredible views with a safe beach on its doorstep with easy access. Very quiet neighbourhood and lovely surroundings. Would highly recommend for any getaway. Will definitely be back.

Great little beach paradise

Some effort negotiating the stairs down to the place might be nice to have a rail. and the only negative thing was the bar-b-q was discussing haven't been cleaned
