About this property

Historic, sunny cottage - Walk to parks by the sea and downtown!

Welcome to St. Petersburg, Florida!

Our cottage is located in one of St. Petersburg's most desirable neighborhoods, 'The Old Northeast', and is ideally situated just a few blocks from The Tampa Bay waterfront, restaurants and bars, shopping, sailing, The Dali museum, the Muvico Theater complex, live music venues, beautiful North Shore Park, vintage markets, the historic Vinoy hotel and a continuous string of green parks that wind along the seven-mile waterfront and is home to many special events and festivals throughout the year. You'll be walking distance from all of the downtown attractions and there is also convenient driveway parking leading right up to the front door of the home.

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath residence is warm and welcoming and situated in family friendly 'Historic Old Northeast', a neighborhood of charming brick streets, palm trees, historic homes and the waterfront. It's an ideal abode for families, couples and singles alike to spend time on vacation, a weekend getaway or even enjoy a luxurious short stay while on business travel.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one en suite with a king bed and a second, smaller bedroom with a twin bed. Both bathrooms are located downstairs, one off of the king bedroom, the other off of the hallway. There is a third bedroom with a king bed upstairs. Also upstairs is a loft area with a pull-out twin, a chest of toys and a desk area.

The kitchen is compact but with all necessary equipment including a dishwasher, oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and all the kitchen essentials needed to make your stay comfortable.

Your home away from home is just steps from St. Petersburg's Beach Drive which anchors downtown shopping, dining and entertainment districts that include outdoor cafes and restaurants, world class museums and an array of shops, galleries, and businesses that line the city’s pedestrian-friendly streets.

We are only a 15-20 minute drive from The Gulf of Mexico and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With an average temperature of 73.6 degrees, St. Petersburg records 361 sunny days which means you can enjoy the beach almost anytime of the year. We are happy to share about our favorite date night or kid-friendly restaurants and activities in the area, feel free to ask!

Our lovely cottage offers an authentic taste of the city right outside your door.

Amazing Old Northeast Cottage

This property was perfect in every way: extremely solid, well furnished, close proximity to DTSP, parks, but still quiet and very private, even includes a little fenced yard for the dog and a screen porch. The owners are super nice and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Cottage in Old Northeast

We felt very lucky to have found this charming cottage in the heart of St. Petersburg's Old Northeast neighborhood. The owners, who are architects, have clearly poured their passion for design and detail into this home. From the exquisite trim work to the clever use of space, every aspect of the cottage reflects their thoughtful approach. The location simply couldn't be beat – perfect for exploring all that St. Pete has to offer. We loved our stay!

We had a great time in this really cozy cottage. It is in a wonderful neighborhood of St Pete, and we really like that the house is close both to the water and to the shops and cafés in the harbor of the city. The hosts were very helpful.

A Wonderful Cottage in the heart of St Petersburg

Just spent the month of March at this wonderful Historic, Sunny Cottage! The cottage was clean, comfortable and provided our family with lots of room. It felt like home immediately. We loved the location as we were able to enjoy the city of St. Petersburg by just walking out of door. That meant exploring the shoreline, the parks, the restaurants, and the shops. The location was also convenient to the entire Tampa Bay area. The owners were responsive and willing to help us out when we needed it. Would highly recommend staying here.

The BEST Experience

This house is in a great location, cozy (while spacious), and beautiful and the hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. We could not have been happier. The home is nestled back from the street, so quiet, but just a few blocks from shops, restaurants, and the bay. The upstairs living room is a perfect place to read a good book. I hope we can come back to St. Pete's and this incredible home. Thank you!! - K & H Rushton

Wonderful Vacation

My wife and I spent the month of March, 2024, at this beautiful cottage. It was about as perfect a vacation experience as one could expect. The cottage is delightful - very cozy, with lots of natural light, comfortable furnishings, lovely interior architectural design, excellent kitchen supplies and utensils, screened porch, private backyard, and its superb location. You can walk to everything of importance - the parks, the bay, marinas, shopping, restaurants, bars and entertainment, neighborhood coffee shop, weekend farmer’s market, and art galleries and museums. Our hosts, Elizabeth and David, were always there for us with their wonderful disposition when we needed assistance. This was a very special vacation and we would return annually - if we can find consecutive weeks when it is not reserved. It’s a popular listing. Make your reservations far in advance, if you want to visit during the high-season!

Our Beautiful Interim Home

This comfy cottage is everything it's advertised to be. What a delightful place! In the process of moving to our new home in St Pete, we spent 7 weeks living here and getting to know our new city. It felt both roomy and cozy, private and historic. We had room to have friends over, but mostly we acted like tourists. The neighborhood is terrific for walking and enjoying some gorgeous architecture, both old and new, plus it's only a few minutes walk to the Bay, Downtown, Beach Dr., Central Ave, to Pier abd Sundial, the Vanoy and so much more. The hosts were perfect. Never invaded but always responsive if we needed anything. You'll be lucky to book this gem!

Nicest neighborhood in St Pete

Property Uber lux and private, complete in every way. Comfortably furnished, well-appointed kitchen with many staple items, great support from family who lives in a separate house on the property but fencing provides a cloistered private tropical retreat. This is not hyperbole. Great find, great value in the high-end properties.

A Great Place to Stay

The property is ideally located just two blocks from beach drive which has lots of shops and restaurants. It is also right by the Pier and museums. Easy to walk to everything. The North Bay Trail is also a short walk and right along the ocean and we biked and walked it a lot. One morning we actually saw dolphins! The cottage has comfortable beds, living room and and small but well equipped kitchen. We also liked sitting in the screened in room. Elizabeth and David are wonderful hosts and took care of our requests quickly like when a door knob came off and they fixed it right away. IWe loved St Pete!

A wonderful month at this beautiful, cozy cottage

This cottage was a perfect spot for our month in St Pete. The location couldn’t be better - just blocks to the water and waterfront parks, and blocks to the shops and restaurants on Beach Drive and Central Ave. It is situated in a very pretty historic neighborhood. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It was a great size for just the two of us, and still plenty of room when our friends visited. We especially enjoyed the screened porch. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and responsive. We highly recommend this cottage and we hope to stay there again.
