About this property

Our Hualapai mountain retreat is the perfect choice for an escape from the summer heat of Laughlin, lake Havasu, Las Vegas, and kingman, or a stopover on your trip along Route 66 located just 12 miles from Route 66 at an elevation of 6200 feet makes the temperature 15 to 20 degrees cooler than in the valleys below. We often have snow in the winter it is best to carry chains or four wheel drive and check the weather at https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/pine-lake-az/86401/weather-forecast/2274079 . Our rear patio has a gas fire pit with seating for six, propane BBQ, dinning table overlooking the forest below. Our cabin has two bedroom and two and one half bathes, it has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, full size stove with two ovens and full size refrigerator with ice and water in the door. The master bedroom has a king size bed , 32” tv, the master bath room is attached. There is private entrance to the rear patio. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a large gas fireplace with a 50'' smart HD tv (netflix,amazon movies,show time and more) and a sleeper sofa.The dinning area has seating for six. The upstairs family room has a 60” HD TV, pool table, wet bar, full size sleeper sofa and a one half bath. The Hualapai mountains are known for an abundance of wild life spotting, and the miles and miles of ATV and hiking trails We have deer and elk visiting in our front yard most every day, there are elk all over the mountain. You can sit in the restaurant (excellent food) and often view the elk from the window Make our cabin your first choice while visiting the mountains for a romantic weekend getaway or a family vacation.

Mountain oasis

Loved the location and the room this place had. The views from the patio are incredible and gave us such a refreshing stay. Very grateful to have found this home to make our weekend celebrating my brother’s life. We made some great memories together with my family.

perfect getaway from the warm summer temperatures

loved the beautiful views in the morning from the deck, perfect location to spend time with your family just right down the road from the restaurant and enjoyed being able to take peaceful walks without all the traffic definelty recommend!

Fun Place

We thought it was a little more secluded, but it was still great. Roomy, comfortable, and much of interest inside and outside. Especially loved back porch and game room. Wish there had been a good card table for four, but we made do. Kitchen very well equipped. Beautiful mountain setting.

the road is a little ruff.

we had a weeding up there. so did not get must time up there but sleep. nice place to kick back and relax. the weather was so nice.

Beautiful views, wildlife and the home. Spectacular.

It looks like there was a whole rich life lead there to accumulate all on property. Beautiful covered porch to sit on. Heard and seen Elk. Early am a herd of elk passed through with LG buck bringing up the rear. Right after a herd of mule deer came through. Make sure to bring your binoculars, watching elk further up the mountain.

Very nice place to be, for a not so nice reason. We came to the mountains for, what most people call,"a funeral". The wildlife and unexpected rain was a perfect distraction.

The stay was great. The place was way bigger then the pictures show. It was clean and well maintained. Air conditioning worked great. We had elk and deer in the yard each morning. Great place to stay!

Relaxing gettaway

Loved the attention to detail in decor and also available items for daily use. Making it a very homey comfortable stay. I felt right at home. Beautiful scenery and definitely cooler weather than Phoenix.

Beautiful Property Location

Check in was easy. Gary was very friendly. The house could have been cleaner when we arrived but it wasn't too bad. House cleaner did not stock paper towels or trash bags so we had to make a run to town to get those. One propane tank was empty that was connected to the outside fireplace and another that was connected to the propane outside heater leaks so we decided not to really mess with those. Overall relaxing, just needs a better housekeeper for this beautiful property.

We loved this beautiful place. We were right around the corner from The Lodge, which was convenient. The backyard area was beautiful. We seen plenty of beautiful birds, deers and it was just an overall peaceful time. We had some trouble starting the fireplace, messaged Gary and he called to help with directions for turning it on. We do wish that it was a bit cleaner though, nothing we weren’t able to do ourselves. We would’ve given it 5 stars!

Incredible serenity!

I would give the property a 4 star my husband said a 3 star. Property looked just how it does in the pictures. We liked the place and liked the area. However, it is not being maintained well. Bar area was covered in dust and when we opened the blinds there were LOTS of dead flies and months on most of the window ceils. I brought a dog. The grass in the back yard was 18"- 4 foot high. It covered the lounge chairs. Only one burner worked on the BBQ. The gas fireplace didn't work. Once we got it working it ran out of gas in less than 5 minutes. The garage door didn't work. Mike had to fix it to get his motorcycle in. I did call host and he had workers out within hours. They said it worked but use it as little as possible. The road in is not good for HD motorcycle or a Corvette. My husband really didn't like having to take our own trash out to the lodge trash bins. We feel there cleaning people can do that. With all this said the amenities provided in the cabin were great. They had shampoo & soap. They have every small kitchen appliance known to man. Lots of dishes and pots and pan. Plus tin foil, zip lock bags. Salt, pepper and other seasonings. With all that being said we would probably stay again but would not bring the motorcycle.

It has everything and more!

We were so happy with our visit. The cabin was amazing and we had so much fun with the pool table! And hiking around the property was breathtaking! We wanna come back again next time!

Great location with unique and beautiful loft

Centrally located near the lodge which we went to for a wedding. Upstairs was our favorite are with pool table, big screen tv, and bar. At night the back patio was beautiful with all the lights that were installed. The only issues we had were no trash bags (cleaning people forgot to leave some) and ants (owner was helpful and directed me to spray I could use) both not that big of an issue. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Great location for OHVs!

Friends and family gathered to celebrate July birthdays and we had a great time! There are several OHV trails nearby and the house has lots of room for trucks and trailers. I loved the antiques and spent time admiring the old books and collectibles. The house was perfect for barbecuing and spending time on the patio with the wildlife. And the fact that we were allowed to bring our furry friends was the icing on the cake. The owner was responsive and available to answer questions. Overall, 2 thumbs up!!
