Sea Salt Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and sleeps up to 8 guests. We are located at the 16.5 milepost in Nags Head, across the street from Jennette's Pier. You can walk over to the beach in a couple of minutes or drive over and park in the free parking lot if you prefer.

We hope you'll check us out and see why our guests come back year after year. Guests tell us they love the location of our home, truly steps away from the ocean and directly across the street from Jennette's Pier. They also love our spacious private pool in our relaxing backyard and the stunning sunsets they view off our top floor deck overlooking the Roanoke Sound.

We've owned Sea Salt Cottage since 2015 and improve upon the property each year. We view it as an extension of our own home and furnish it to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need for a memorable stay. Recent updates include a remodeled kitchen and all three bedrooms updated for maximum comfort and beachy, upscale mid-century vibes.

Linens and Towels included for the weeks between Memorial Day and Labor Day at no additional charge. You'll walk in to the beds made and linens all ready for your week.

Please note: Ask us about linens for the other parts of the year. We offer information on how you can rent linens for your time if you'd prefer not to bring them with you.

We include beach towels, beach chairs and a beach cart with all rentals.

Sea Salt Cottage is also just two houses down from Whalebone Park - a large playground with fun equipment for children of all ages - and a volleyball area, picnic tables and a walking trail.

The first floor Primary Bedroom is a spacious, mid-century modern private oasis equipped with a plush, king-sized bed (brand new mattress), full private bathroom, deck overlooking the backyard and a mini fridge for cold drinks on pool days. You'll enjoy drinking coffee on the swing located off the master bedroom deck - a great place to relax and watch the family enjoy the private backyard pool. There's also a sitting area with couch in the master bedroom for beach reading or watching TV.

The second bedroom is a Queen bedroom on the second floor.

The third bedroom is a bunkroom with one double and two bunked twin beds. This room is designed to comfortably accommodate adults and children alike.

All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs and digital cable TV. You'll be fully connected with high-speed WiFi.

The living area provides plenty of seating and a large flatscreen TV. The large deck off the living area is a great place to sit in the evenings and enjoy the gorgeous sunset over the sound.

The beautifully renovated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a full size dishwasher. There's a Keurig and traditional coffeemaker for coffee lovers! The dining area offers table seating and bar stools for more casual meals. You'll find the table a comfortable spot for playing games as well.

Two beach access points with lifeguard coverage in season are across the street and within 350 yards. One is at Jennette's Pier and one is on Gulfstream Drive.

Home is a Saturday to Saturday rental during season (Mid May through September.)

50% of total is collected at time of reservation. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to your stay. We REQUIRE a lease agreement to be signed via SignNow website and returned, along with a photo copy of a driver's license, to confirm identity of renters.
