Hello traveler!
Welcome to your cozy home away from home! I live at this property in the upstairs area and I very much look forward to being your host. Your space is the first-level guest suite, complete with every amenity you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Feel free to read through this description to ensure it's the best fit for you.
My house is located in the Glencliff neighborhood of south Nashville. Glencliff is suburban, friendly, laid-back and culturally diverse, all aspects of the area that I love. The neighborhood is perfect for a quiet evening walk. The winding side streets don't have much traffic which is great for dog-walking. South Nashville is known for its abundance of ethnic restaurants. If tacos are your thing, you are SO in the right place! You can also find an array of international food markets, and Kroger is only a 5- minute drive. You're just a 15-minute drive to downtown, 10 minutes to the airport, and 5 minutes to the Nashville Zoo. A Lyft/Uber to downtown on a typical night will be around $15.
Your suite is completely private and has a separate entrance accessible via lockbox. Come and go as you please! There's tons of parking space in the rear lot.
Inside, the space is essentially an open-concept studio apartment. The sleeping area has a comfy full-size memory foam mattress. I also provide 1 full-size airbed (with built-in inflator).
Your kitchenette includes a toaster-oven, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a kitchen cart stocked with cups, paper plates and plasticware.
TV has a Roku (With Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video) Chromecast, and DVD player.
The full bathroom is part of your guest-suite and is private.
Enjoy 24/7 access to laundry in the garage. Enter garage from the suite through the white door. This area is a shared space; I'm basically only in there to do laundry or to grab the lawn-mower during summer.
PET OWNERS, PLEASE READ:
- There is a $40 pet fee. Please specify in your booking that you are bringing pets so the fee is applied. Otherwise I will request it as an additional payment.
- Pets MUST be crated if left unattended in the guest suite for any length of time. I provide one 42" dog crate if you require one.
- Please do not allow your pets on the bed or furniture without using protective covers/sheets. I provide these for you. Owners are responsible for any damage found, including messes requiring extensive cleaning.

Hey, I'm David! I was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania but Nashville has been my home for 10 years. I moved here to attend Belmont University and graduated a degree in Music Business. I work part time for concert staging company. We design, build & rent stages for tons of artists and events. When I'm not busy with that or being a HomeAway host, I enjoy playing music and songwriting. I play piano, guitar, and sing. It's the ultimate outlet for me and makes this life worth living!
My favorite city I've traveled to is Edinburgh, Scotland. My all-time favorite movie is Training Day. My favorite book is 'Unbroken.' Favorite band is Radiohead. I love breakfast food. Seriously, I could have it 3 times a day. To keep active, I enjoy going to the gym and trail-running. I enjoy occasional hunting and fishing trips with my dad who is a master outdoorsman!

Why they chose this property
I have bounced around Nashville for the last 10 years, renting different houses and apartments. In 2017 I decided it was time to plant some permanent roots here. I also knew I wanted to be a short term rental host when, at my previous apartment, my roommate suddenly moved out. To afford rent, I put his room on Airbnb and it wound up being a fantastic experience. I figured, why not do this in a house of my own? After a few months of searching I found this house in Glencliff. I love the area - it's clean, quiet, family friendly, culturally diverse, and my neighbors are all friendly.
What makes this property unique
I've had a lot of contractors work on my house since moving in and they've all commented on the excellent infrastructure of the place. In real-estate-talk they'd say it's a house with 'great bones.' There were no major repairs needed upon moving in - no foundation cracks, electrical/plumbing problems, etc. One thing I love about my house is the huge, private rear-parking lot that leads right to the guest suite. This is something you, the renter, will enjoy. You park the car and you're inches from the door. My part of the house has great hardwood floors, an awesome kitchen, and it's just the right amount of space for me. The guest suite is a super cozy space. It's open-concept, akin to a studio apartment, and has a nice big bathroom. I felt right at home the day I arrived at this place, and so will you!
