The 2 downstairs bedrooms have their own double doored private entrances to the extensive gardens. 1 of the bedrooms has an open fireplace. There is a large, well equipped kitchen also with an open fireplace and dining for up to 10 people, with adjoining utility room and pantry. The sunroom/conservatory beside the kitchen can also be used for summer dining (BBQ and outdoor furniture also available). Upstairs in the main home there is 1 further en-suite bedroom with a roll-top bath. There is also a sitting room/TV room at this level (satellite TV, Netflix and wifi all available).
The adjoining guest house has 2 double bedrooms, full bathroom with a rolltop bath, and the large kitchen/living/dining area also boasts a large open fireplace here too. The private gardens surrounding both properties were designed by popular TV gardener Diarmuid Gavin and are well stocked with flowers and shrubs. There are magnificent views from the front of the house of the adjoining horse farm and the Devil's Glen woods. The village of Ashford is a short distance away, with local pubs, restaurants and shops. Beautiful sandy beaches are within easy reach, with Glendalough and the Wicklow National Park a short drive away. Hikers, golfers, horse riders will be spoilt for choice in this beautiful country setting. Ecotourists will love the Devil's Glen woods and waterfall which are on the doorstep.
