The Apollo has everything you would need for a nice relaxing vacation on Marco Island. Its beachfront location on the popular south end of Marco Island makes this building one of the most popular on the entire island. Catch all of the sunsets from your very own private balcony, or take a quick trip down to sunset grille located on the first floor. Sunset grille is one of just a handful of walk up restaurants/bars from the beach on the entire island.

Marco Island is the perfect vacation spot for people of all ages. Some of the island favorites include fishing charters, shelling cruises, and boat rentals. For the one who enjoys water activities, jet skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing are located within minutes of this condo. There are numerous golf courses located within fifteen minutes of Marco Island. Tennis courts are also available onsite.

The Florida everglades are located close to Marco Island. Here one can ride a swamp buggy, airboat, or explore other excursions. There is also an abundance of shopping to choose from in the area from Marco’s quaint shops to the upscale 5th avenue in Naples. Outlet shopping is available minutes off the island at the prime outlet mall or the miramar outlet mall in Estero. The Naples philharmonic is famous for its live entertainment and Marco movies, the island’s movie theater, is known for serving dinner, beer and wine, as well as traditional movie food favorites.

Marco island also has an enormous array of restaurants ranging from fine dining to fast food. The numerous waterfront restaurants are local hangouts. Marco island is the perfect vacation spot for people of all ages. It is a vacationer’s paradise.

I hope this truly gets seen by owners/ property managers. The bath towels need replaced badly. They should be torn and used as rags. The extra ones I called about were found in a trash bad under the bed. I had to wash before used. Awful!

Great location on South Beach!

My husband and I were very pleased with this small beachfront condo-perfect size for two! It was clean, adequately equipped for prepping breakfast & lunch, had a fairly comfortable mattress and was nicely furnished. I had contacted the owner prior to booking with some questions based on a previous review and he responded within 24 hours. Check-in is a little more complicated than I am accustomed to with VRBO- you check in with the management company and the condo management and have to sign both’s rules. There is a restaurant on the property and many others within a mile. The beach is gorgeous and you are treated to sunset right outside your balcony. The shells were great! I would love to go back!

Smelled moldy / musty - gross uncomfortable bedding

We have rented many times in Marco through vrbo and air b&b . We have also rented at Apollo . We were pleased every other time . This one was an exception. We walked in and the place smelled moldy/ musty . We thought maybe it just needs to be aired out . We opened everything up and the smell did not go away . We decided that instead of sleeping in the bedroom with non moving air and an uncomfortable bed that we would sleep on the pull out sofa in the living room . We pulled out the sofa bed and it was covered with what looked like urine stains all over it . I started messaging Stephen when we walked into the bad smell . I messaged him multiple times to update him on what we were finding . There was no response . We pulled extra pillows out of the closet and they were all stained and gross. We decided to spend the night at that point it was late . We decided we would figure it out in the morning . We got up and tried to make coffee and the coffee maker had what looked like mold under the cap . At that point we packed our bags and decided we were leaving . We messaged Stephen probably 5 times. He did not respond until mid day on Monday. He said the unit was fine and he would happily rent it to anyone else . We ended up losing all of our money and had to pay for a new rental on a different property. We will never rent from him again! I have pictures that line up with all of this info .

Our place was very nice.

The beach and the sky were absolutely amazing. There were a little bit too many rules for our taste at the condos. As nice as it is to have security the keys to get everywhere was really a pain. Plus they had an annoying alarm that would go off every time it lightning. Ironically it seemed to go off way after it was already stormy. Not sure why we needed alerted when it was already obvious. Our place was nice and clean and everything was great. Maybe just too quiet for our cup of tea.

Not a second time

The property was not in good maintenance condition; the front door did not close properly; the bedding was not very clean and did not smell good; the sofa mattress was stained with various urine and was quite old; the kitchen utensils were scarce, there was neither a toaster nor a mixer. I am very sorry, but I do not intend to visit this property again.

Perfect for two people

The view from.the balcony was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We got much use out of the beach chairs and cooler provided. Would rent again! Just couldn't find extra trash bags.

Great time

The trip was great. The only inconvenience was using the key to access the front door, THEN the elevator and coming in from the beach, etc. wristbands, cards or a keypad would be much more convenient. Property was very clean, nice cold a/c, very polite staff and it was extremely nice having the sunset grill directly under the condo.

We enjoyed stay at the Apollo . Ease of parking and condo staff were very helpful . The beach was beautiful and well maintained . One of my favorite experiences of our stay was the balcony view. There are many excursions to enjoy also.

We loved the Apollo. The security was stout; always felt safe. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The lead picture in the VRBO listing was taken from our unit’s deck; as you would hope and expect. The unit was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful view

Perfect getaway from the cold north

Place had exceptional views of the ocean and the sandy beach just steps away. We were blessed with seeing the dolphins and collected pretty shells. Apartment was equipped with all of the necessities and beach supplies. We just had to restock the basics upon need. Futon was a bit uncomfortable and it folds upwards if u lean too far back while sleeping. However, the bed was great. There’s also a restaurant on sight which was very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed the stay a lot. You can’t beat the location with these views. We highly recommend.

Fantastic Location rest leaves room for improvement.

Check-in Process was more cumbersome being off site than others we have done but nothing that would deter me from booking. Parking was fine, you need a key to open the front doors and use the elevator that is the same key. Then a separate key to access the room. It was fine by us and not too cumbersome. It is meant to keep outsiders out and works so that is good. Unit was as described view was spectacular. A few things could have been cleaner like a few pieces of furniture, again nothing that would deter me from booking. The bed was not good as another review stated. I was hoping it was replaced before we got there but it was not. It was badly sunken in the middle and it does need to be replaced. We had a problem while staying. The unit above's dishwasher was leaking and the water was coming through the ceiling into our unit. The front desk couldn't help, I sent a message to the host, and had to call 2 different phone numbers to get ahold of someone. Once I did they were very polite but we had to clean up the mess. Including pulling out the refrigerator and placing pots and towels to catch the water. We were told we would need to move units so the remainder of the night we packed so the next day we could move only to be told we could stay the next day. Our relaxing night of going out for drinks and sitting on the patio was ruined and we still have not heard from the host or rental agency about it. Also there was no toilet paper, dish soap, or hand soap in the unit when we arrived. If we were expected to provide those things it should have been communicated but these things happen @ VRBO's. As of now we will not book again. If we get some communication and the bed is replaced I would give them another shot.

Awesome location

Great location. VERY CLOSE TO THE WATER and beach. Clean unit and better views than the Hilton. Saw dolphins every day from balcony. Will return.

The view was great. The condo was very dirty. The walls were dirty the doors were dirty the dresser drawers were dirty the kitchen drawers were dirty in the bottom of the fridge was dirty. Also the mattress on the bed was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. We had to go out and buy an air mattress to sleep on. The mattress and Motel six was better than this one. I would never recommend anybody to rent this condo.

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed being able to listen to the ocean and watch the beautiful sunsets. Of course it was a very short trip to the beach but when we wanted to be out of the sun sitting on the balcony was perfect!
