Step into an old Florida paradise in this quaint cottage just a few steps from the beach. San Wishes has recently been completely remodeled which includes brand new furnishings. The home is located on Tang O Mar road in Miramar Beach. This location gives you the feeling a quiet, relaxed neighborhood while still keeping close to all Miramar Beach has to offer. Silver Sands Outlets are just right down the road.

The home features wonderful sliding glass doors which lead out to a balcony off the living area and kitchen. Relax in your living room while enjoying the cozy new couch and flat screen TV. Both the master bedroom features a queen bed with another flat screen mounted on the wall for your night time viewing pleasure. A guest bedroom offers twin beds, and there is a queen bed in the bonus quarters with another mounted TV.

First Floor: Den with King Bed and Patio Access, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Laundry.

Second Floor: Living Room with Balcony Access and Queen Sleeper Sofa, Kitchen, Dining, Queen Bedroom, Hall Bath Walk-In Shower, Bedroom with Two Twin Beds.

The location was perfect, just a few steps from the beach. However the cleanliness of the property was poor. Found hair from previous guests in the bed and bugs throughout the home. I attempted to contact the owner but no response. I do not recommend staying here.

This property was not what we expected. It was not clean. There was dust on the ceilings and dirty dishes in the cabinet. I took a rag to the coffee table and it was black. The bathtub downstairs felt grimy and looked dirty. The glass doors looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile . Around all the garbage cans in this neighborhood was a lot of garbage. Was not kept up at all. On a positive note beach access was close by and neighborhood was quiet. I would not return or recommend this property . The initial description says newly renovated. This was not the case. There was a lot of rust in the cabinets and in the refrigerator. This property is in need of a major upgrade. I read the reviews before booking this trip and they appeared good . After I booked there was a bad review from someone who had just stayed there but it was too late to cancel.

Great location, beautiful property, very comfortable! Our plans fell through due to flights being cancelled TWICE! We decided last min to drive to Destin from Houston and we are glad we did. They were very accomodating for our last min plans.

It was okay
Upon arrival, I was surprised the main entry was through the first floor bedroom. Did not like that. The house is much smaller in person than pictures make it appear. The house was not swept or mopped. I found clumps of dog fur throughout the living room ( which only had a 3 person sofa and a wicker chair) and stains on the floor. The cabinets were chipped and the ceiling in the kitchen was cracked, paint job in the master bedroom was poor and the bed was super hard and uncomfortable.. All in all the repairs in the home looked as if someone was picked off the street to do it, very unprofessional work. The day we arrived the internet went out and didn’t come back until the following night & it still barely worked. The nearby construction was literally next door. Thankfully the rainy weather didn’t permit work or it would have been extremely loud and aggravating. The deck was nice and proximity to the beach was excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. I did enjoy my stay but Would not return. My point is I am not a picky person but I believe if Im paying to stay somewhere the facility should be in the best condition. I felt like I was staying at my aunts house instead of a rental property that I would imagine would be in immaculate condition.

Great location
My husband, one grown daughter and our dog traveled to Destin to visit our other grown daughter, husband and grandson who live in Niceville. The sleeping arrangements worked great for our extended family visit. If baby fell asleep or kids were too tired to drive 30 minutes, they could stay as well. We loved the private street, private beach access and quiet area.

Lack of Cleanleness
This rental was in a great location and was great except for the lack of cleanliness. There was visible dust that had collected for months and very noticeable. There were hand marks on the doors, dust on the appliances that had not been wiped down. Chip and candy wrappers on the floor among dead bugs. There were clean towels and linens provided, the closeness to the beach was remarkable - the rental itself was beautiful.

The house was lovely, on a quiet side street ending in a nearly private stretch of beach. Close enough to the shopping malls to keep the young people happy, yet provide a peaceful vacation for the adults. A good time was had by all!

Our stay was very nice . House included all the basics you need . Any issues were addressed right away . House and linens felt clean . Beds were comfortable . Great location . Short walk to the beach with a view from the upper deck . No matter how hot it was the lower deck was always had a nice breeze and plenty of shade .

Sand Wishes was an overall pleasant stay. The beach was a short walk away. The house had plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. There’s a washer/dryer and dishwasher and grill! Plenty of room for us and our dogs. The bed was comfortable and shower was hot. One less star because I think they forgot to mop when they cleaned. We had to mop the whole place because walking around barefoot was a no go. Cute interior with newer carpeting in the bedrooms and newer appliances. Plenty of deck space to eat outdoors if you’re entertaining family in the area.

The property was nice. The sliding glass door on the bottom floor needs to be fixed. Hard to open and there is a rusty nail on the door frame that i hit with my elbow trying to close it. Finally gave up on the door and just used the front door instead. The furniture on the bottom deck needs to be replaced and the stove burners are difficult to use without them moving with hot food on them.

New Years Vacation
Our trip was so much fun and we really enjoyed the house! The only thing that we didn't like is that the living/sitting room only had one couch so there wasn't much room for everyone to sit. Other than that, everything looked and worked great! We will definitely be back!
