We enjoyed our stay at this very spacious home that had 3 FULL bathrooms so all the ladies had space. It was clean and well appointed. We loved the coffee amenities! It was a convenient drive to the shopping in Round Top and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay again. Only suggestion would be some wine glasses and washer/dryer access.
Property was really nice! Perfect for a quiet family time. Seemed to be recently renovated and was very clean. Nice back porch with fire pit for hanging out. Had a great time and would go again.
Property was perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. Large open floor plan with lots of room to spread out. Great outside space for games and activities. It was exactly what we were looking for to get kids and grandkids together

Girls trip to Warrenton/Round Top
If you are looking for a spacious, quiet place for a girls get-away then the Turquoise Door is for you! The house met our needs in every aspect and the drive to Round Top for shopping wasn’t far at all! WE LOVED IT and will be back!

Girls getaway for the annual spring fair in Round Top. This property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Rooms are very large and bathrooms are nicely furnished with soaps, towels etc. We enjoyed one evening sitting around the fire on the back deck. It was a bit more of a drive into Round Top than we normally like to have.
House was immaculate. Very clean, a/c was great. A lot of space. Loved the three bathrooms with every bedroom. Family very comfortable

GREAT PROPERTY AND OWNER
This property is very clean and modern. Very true to description as advertised. Our large family stayed for four nights. Seems like Vrbo had some electronic issue with us getting the final details so we had to contact the owners just prior to our stay. They were very responsive then and every time during our stay that we had a question.
Would stay again. Thank you Heidi!
Had such a relaxing stay at Turquoise Door! Having stayed at many vrbo locations over the years this one is definitely 5 stars. With that said, just have a few recommendations. There’s a very bright light that shines on side of house into the two bedrooms and black out curtains would be a great addition to windows. Also house was so well stocked with toiletries and necessities but just didn’t have any facial tissues. A box in each bathroom would have been nice. Other than that, amazing stay!
We had a great stay! Spent day at Round Top and and day two in Brenham came home and spent most of our time playing games! Very nice home and loads of space! We had a great weekend!
Girls trip for weekend & this was perfect place for us to stay. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire on the deck in the cool mornings & eve.
Property was just as listed and more than enough space for our group. We were in town for Round Top antique week and this location was just a short backroad drive away. Made it super easy to get in and out of the hustle and bustle! Would book again!
Turquoise Door was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the deck at night and saw the deer and wildlife. After a day of shopping that was very relaxing. We did miss our coffee the first morning as the guest needs to bring your own. We remedied that and enjoyed the next morning with breakfast and then off for more treasures.
Great place for staying for Round Top Antique Shopping
We have been coming to the Fall Antique Show in Round Top for several years. This rental was a great fit for our group. Very spacious. It was very clean. AND IT HAD 3 BATHROOMS!!
Heidi was a star host! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome. She has a beautiful home, perfectly hidden, yet not too far from shopping, wineries and great restaurants. Our ladies trip was so memorable thanks to Heidi and her lovely, spacious, comfortable home!
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The rooms were perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. Patio on the back was a plus but just too hot to enjoy this time. Texas heat can be brutal. Easy to find and close to places we wanted to visit. We were very well pleased. Owner contacted us about a weather situation and plus having Wifi that we were able to connect to was huge. We had a great time.
We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The house had plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was beautifully updated & had all of the comforts of home. It is perfectly located for short trips to Round Top & Chappell Hill. It is quiet and peaceful at the house with a great back porch.
This property is the cleanest I've ever stayed in as far as VRBOs go. It smells great and very large to accommodate a lot of people.

About the host
Hosted by Heidi Moore
I am a Broker. I have been selling real estate since 1997. I am also a Mom and wife to an amazing family of 5 children. Both my husband and I love working on projects, whether it be a fixer-upper home or beekeeping. We love to travel in the little amount of spare time we have.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased this property in 2016. The home needed a lot of love. We dove into the project of renovating it. What began as a vision of some paint and new floors turned into re-arranging walls throughout the entire home. What was once a very dysfunctional floorplan turned into a retreat we enjoy visiting. We love the nature outside, and the cozy indoors. We hope you will love our place as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
From the rolling oak tree terrain out back or relaxing on the back porch watching the deer you will find peace. The sunsets are beautiful. Make sure to grab your favorite beverage and head out back.
