Enjoyable Beach Cottage
We would definitely stay here again! Great location, very clean, & well-stocked. The owners were very easy to get in touch with, not that we had any issues at all! So many nice touches, including a great welcome basket. Looking forward to coming back here next year!

The cottage was spectacularly clean, so cute with the retro kitchen. Great location, and the host, Bridgett, was very kind and responsive to our inquiries. Oh and the pumpkin bread in the welcome basket was delicious!

Perfect Place!
The Salty Shrimp was the perfect location, clean, inviting, and comfy. They had accessories for our dog, board games and toys, and lots of beach gear. We had such a great time here with access to so many shops and restaurants in the general area, and even though it rained every day of our trip we made it to the beach every day with just a super short one block walk. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here with our 5 year-old daughter and two dogs. We loved this property. It was very clean and very close to the beach access. Loved the screened in porch. Close to lots of activities and restaurants. Will definitely be looking to book this house again in the future.

We truly enjoyed our time at the Salty Shrimp.The house had everything that we needed and it was a quick walk to the beach. Our host Bridgett was amazing! We were there during the tropical storm and Bridgett stayed in contact with us to make sure everything was okay. We look forward to going back in the future and highly recommend this rental!!

From the well-appointed kitchen, games and books, and fantastic location this cottage exceeded our expectations. In addition to being a very short walk to the beach, it’s in the perfect location for visiting Jockey’s Ridge State Park, Wright Brothers Memorial, The Nature Conservancy trails, and more. We walked to Mahi Mahi for a great dinner and down to Booty Treats for shaved ice and ice cream. Overall, we loved this cottage and would love to return.

Perfect cottage with a great location!
This was our second stay at The Salty Shrimp. We love this cottage! We love that this home is pet-friendly so that we can bring our pup with us and the owners even provided food and water bowls and a towel just for her. Our favorite thing about this cottage is the location. The beach access is just a short block away and there are so many great restaurants, stores, and activities close by. The home has been extremely clean both times we have stayed there - which is a HUGE plus for us. It is obvious that the owners go to great lengths to make sure guests are happy during their stay. There have even been gift baskets left for us during both of our stays. And the owners reached out to make sure we had everything that we needed after checking in. We hope to stay at The Salty Shrimp again in the future! Thank you to the owners for opening your home and for helping to make our stay comfortable!

This cottage is cute and was perfect for my husband and I and our two teens. We rented surfboards and had boogie boards and walked a block to the beach everyday. What a cute, safe area. The owners have nice touches like a good shower and comfortable beds and rooms along with leaving us coffee and a key lime pie when we arrived. Very welcoming. We loved it and plan to be back.

We love the Salty Shrimp. We are already planning our next trip there. The house is always so clean and comfortable. Bridgett is always there to help in anyway she can. The house is a very short walk,5 mins, to the beach and centrally located in the middle of the Outer Banks.

We enjoyed are stay at the Salty Shrimp so much the first time we started planning are next trip as soon as we got home. This time we stayed 2 weeks. A little bit of heaven
This was wonderful. The cottage was the right size for us and it was beautiful. The owner was great and kept in touch with us. If the weather had been better it would have been perfect. It rained and rained and rained. We had to cancel some of our plans because of it. I hope that we will be able to return in the future.

Loved our first trip to the Outer Banks!
This cottage was perfect for us!! It was so clean! Bridgett communicated the details with us and was very responsive if we had a question. The popcorn and sweet bread were both delicious. The coffee was great! We definitely plan on returning. One of the highlights of our trip was “The Wild Horse Adventure Tour!” It’s located in Corolla. It did not disappoint! They use a 12 passenger Hummer as their transport vehicle. Everyone has a great view as well as a comfy seat. Our tour guide, Jeanea, was the best ever!! We are now in love with the Outer Banks!! The PERFECT little Salty Shrimp
Everything about this rental was perfect. So amazingly well stocked. Anything you could possibly need, it had. Just bring your clothes, swimsuit, beach towel, and some food and you’re all set. The owner is so sweet. There was a yummy key lime pie, local coffee grounds, popcorn and a sweet card waiting for us when we arrived. It’s not a large house but we had six adults and were perfectly comfortable. Such an easy short walk to the beach. We highly recommend the Salty Shrimp and would stay there again.
