Aalkie's Dream Luxurious self catering
Aalkie's Dream is a charming, comfortable, neat and spacious cottage offering accommodation in Swellendam, a prosperous agricultural town in the Overberg region. It features over 50 national monuments and is the largest youngberry growing region in the world and is an ideal holiday destination all year round.
The spacious, 1-bedroom cottage is tastefully furnished and can accommodate 5 guests at a time. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed while there are 2 single beds in the open-plan living area, and bunker bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower.
The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a hot plate, microwave, kettle, a breakfast counter with bar stools, and basic utensils. Additional comforts include an air-conditioner, TV, workstation, access to Wi-Fi, and a private entrance. A braai area is available outside the unit.
Guests can enjoy berry picking, liqueur tastings, a variety of historical outings, and visits to a number of nature reserves in and around the area.

The cottage is entirely private with dedicated access. The large property offers incredible mountain views with indigenous birds frequenting the garden. A braai lapa is available.

Alida is an excellent host with a bubbly personality. Value for money accommodation with a host who is making sure that you are satisfied with everything and making sure you have an enjoyable timecaway from home! Excellent and very clean facilities. I can honestly recommend it.

We had a very nice stay at Aalkie's dream! The place was neat, near centre and the host was very nice! She told us what we could do in Swellendam which was helpful.

This is a wonderful place to stay with an amazing host. She was kind and helpful. The location is quiet and safe. Enjoyed it tremendously.
