Situated between downtown and the Ski Resort you can ski, shop, dine, and check off all of your Steamboat adventure boxes within minutes at Dallas Chalet.

As you enter the home through the gorgeous hand-carved oversized door, all of your cares and worries will melt away. Every detail of the home has been hand-selected with a designer's touch. The bedrooms are full of beautiful artwork and plush bedding. With plenty of gorgeous lamps to create a relaxing ambiance, you will be lulled fast to sleep.

High ceilings on the main floor with ample lighting will make this dream home feel like a castle. Fabulous artwork and gorgeous furniture are everywhere you look. The master bedroom is fit for a king and queen with bedding suitable for a majestic palace. The bay window in the master is perfect to gaze outside or curl up with a good book. Relax in the dreamy master bathroom with a jetted tub as you will feel as if you were being pampered at a spa. The massive walk-in closet has all of the shelves and drawers you will ever need for your winter attire.

Stroll over the rich-toned wood flooring into the living room with ample seating for everyone. Unwind and watch a movie or sip wine by the fireplace as you lounge on the cozy sofa. 90th Birthday
15 of us from around the country came together to celebrate grandma’s 90th birthday. The house was perfect for our different family units. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of dining spaces and a beautiful view. It was quite magical!

The house was as advertised. Plenty of room. The extra kitchen was nice. Short distance to ski resort. For the most part, the shuttle provided by Retretia was great. We had one issue on the last day, no one showed up and no one answered in the office. We were stranded... use at your own risk. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at this spacious property with 8 adults and 2 toddlers. There was lots of room for everyone to spread out, especially the toddlers. The location was very convenient to town and the mountain.

Family Reunion
Plenty of room for everyone. We all loved eating on the deck and admiring the views. Weather was perfect in the 70s. Hot tub was a hit; movies to watch for littles, games to play. Two kitchens came in handy for our large group. Ping pong table got plenty of use. We were in age under 10, 20s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. Something for everyone. Location was great, close to town, falls, grocery, botanical garden, river for fishing and tubing, mini golf, bike path, alpine slide. Walkable neighborhood.

Very spacious home that was clean and had many items that were quite handy when cooking away from home. Some minor repairs are needed, but it certainly did not take away from our visit. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful and centrally located home!
This was a great stay that comfortably accommodated a large group of traveling friends. No one central area to all relax in for a large group was the only deterrent. You can see the whole mountain and runs from the jacuzzi and the home is centrally located. It would accommodate multiple families more accordingly. Loved Steamboat! Best!

Property was nice , but weathered and very disorganized with outside furniture , cluttered garage. Comcast (Xfinity) and dishwasher were not working for first few days. We still had fun. Thanks

Amazing Property!
The main reason we decided on the Dallas Chalet was due to the amount of bedrooms/beds/bathrooms. But, OMG! The house is beautiful, in a great location, minutes from everything! There are views of the ski runs without being in the middle of all the traffic/people at the ski area. One review I read stated that the house was too cluttered with furniture. This home is able to accommodate many people, there are plenty of places guests can sit and hang out, whether you want some solitude or you want to be with the group. Having the second kitchen was great! The adults were able to hang out there while the kids played games in the main living area. Upstairs bathrooms have heated floors...wonderful for wintertime! There are 2 ovens in the main kitchen which was a blessing as we were there over Thanksgiving week. There was an electric skillet, rice pot, crock pot, 3 big stock pots, plenty of pots and pans, regular and Keurig coffee pots, cooking utensils and silverware, and cups/glasses. The refrigerator is huge, we had plenty of room to store our Thanksgiving leftovers! (2nd fridge in 2nd kitchen) The only recommendation I would make is to provide more food storage/serving containers. We had to purchase several. This is a great property for a big group or family gathering. I am already planning our next stay!

Excellent mountain getaway for large group
This property was exactly what we were looking for! With such a large group of friends wanting to make the trip out to Steamboat, we knew the pickings would be slim to find a place where we could all stay together. But stumbling on this house was such a blessing. Not only was it spacious enough for our whole group to enjoy spending time together, everyone had room to sleep on a comfortable bed. The house truly had everything we needed and more!

Great house!
The house was wonderful and super clean. Plenty of space and great decorations. The kitchen could use a few more utensils and the garage door was a little out of whack and kept going up and down so we had to unplug it and plug it in for use. Overall great property.

This home is as advertised. Spacious, great kitchen, nice deck with hot tub and wonderful views. Plenty of parking out front. Seven full bedrooms and adequate bathrooms. The only downside is there is too much furniture and too many decorations inside. It feels cluttered and a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise, a great space.

Nice house, over furnished
Overall, this was a good house but had way too much furniture most of which was way too bulky. Strangely the master had no drawers to organize. The artwork and stuff on the tables was in the way and had to be shielded from the young children in the group. There wasn’t enough silverware considering how many people can sleep there. The garage was full of stuff and a car so our cars could not be parked inside.
